Chris Chung, M.D.
Dr. Christopher Chung is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic plastic surgery of the body, face, and breasts. He has extensive training and experience in short scar and minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, and body contouring. Dr. Chung attended medical school at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco on a full academic scholarship. He completed 8 years of postdoctoral training, including full training in General Surgery with Fellowship Training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.
During his many years of professional experience, Dr. Chung has earned numerous awards and distinctions, many for community service, character and ethics. For his work as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Chung has received the United States Special Congressional Recognition Award for community service and for upholding the highest of ethical standards. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
When he is not working, Dr. Chung enjoys both medical and creative writing. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, an emergency medicine physician, and three young children. Dr. Chung’s favorite charity is St. Jude Children and Mission Clinics, which support children’s cancer treatment and homelessness. He especially enjoys coaching tennis to his children and hiking.
