Adam Angeles, M.D.
Dr. Angeles brings nearly 20 years of experience to Sono Bello. He has trained in the United States and in Europe to learn the most advanced plastic surgery techniques and treatments. Dr. Angeles has taught at several internationally renowned universities, has been published in numerous surgery journals and has lectured throughout the United States.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery earning his medical degree from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine where he also trained in general surgery. He was a National Institute of Health Fellow for 2 years and studied the cellular basis of wound healing then traveled to The Netherlands where he helped develop dermal substitutes (artificial skin) for burn patients. He then returned to the United States to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Fellowship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he trained in breast and full body reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, burn surgery and cosmetic surgery.
Prior to his medical training, Dr. Angeles received his undergraduate degree in general biology at the University of California, San Diego and during that time studied pulmonary physiology under microgravity for NASA.
Dr. Angeles’s commitment to excellence is shown daily through his patient interactions and the compassion he shows while practicing medicine. He strives to match patient expectations with his surgical skills and is dedicated to providing the highest level of surgical care possible.
When he isn’t providing patients terrific results he is either composing music in his recording studio, doing photography or swimming. He also spends a considerable amount of time lecturing on various plastic surgery topics across the country. He has lived in Oregon for many years and loves hiking and exploring the beautiful areas that Oregon offers.
