George Papanicolaou, M.D.

Dr. Papanicolaou is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He has over 10 years of training and loves laser assisted liposuction because of what it can do for a patient and their self image.

Born in Greece, Dr. Papanicolaou speaks fluent Greek. He received his medical degree from the Athens University School of Medicine. He then did his internship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. before completing his general surgery residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando. His plastic surgery residency was done at Summa Health System in Akron, OH. He subsequently enriched his plastic surgery experience by completing a craniofacial fellowship in Univ. of Texas Southwestern in Dallas TX, where he participated in reconstructive and aesthetic operations of face and body performed by leaders in the field. He has published scientific articles in prestigious journals in the field of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Papanicolaou is a caring and experience surgeon who treats his patients with care and respect. In his words his goal is “to achieve aesthetically pleasing and natural results in a comfortable and safe environment.”

Outside of the procedure room, you’ll find Dr. Papanicolaou with family. He also loves traveling, swimming and hiking.
