Tarak Patel, M.D.
Dr. Patel is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He loves performing cosmetic procedures and laser assisted liposuction because of what it can do for a patient and their self image. “Laser Assisted Liposuction is a technique that can truly enhance anyone’s contour.”
Born in Baroda, India, Dr. Patel speaks fluent Gujarati. He did his undergraduate work at the United States Military Academy at West Point before completing medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Patel has been deployed to Iraq twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and has been honored with numerous awards including the Meritorious Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, and the Army Commendation Medal.
When he isn’t practicing medicine or serving his country you’ll find Dr. Patel with his wife (a Dermatologist) and three children. His interests include running, skiing, boating…”basically all activities I can do with my kids.”
