Dr. Buglino is a fellowship trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon and received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a B.S. degree from Cornell University.
A Long Island native, he completed his general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn NY, an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, serving his final year as chief resident.
As a general surgery resident, he trained extensively at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Buglino completed a highly competitive post graduate fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, one of only four of its kind. He has trained with leading surgeons at top medical centers including:
Jefferson University Hospital, Hahneman Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Westchester Hospital/New York Medical College, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and The Reading Hospital.
Dr. Buglino is a member of numerous prestigious professional societies, including:
