Dr. Griffin is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with an M.D. from Washington University St. Louis Medical School in Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Brown University in Providence, RI where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Griffin completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at Washington University St. Louis Medical School in Missouri. He also completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Chicago Pritzker Medical School in Illinois and a Plastic and Reconstructive Residency at University of Southern California Medical School in Los Angeles, CA. In addition, Dr. Griffin completed two fellowships, one in Burn Reconstruction at University of Southern California Medical School – Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey CA and a Hand Fellowship at the University of Southern California Medical School in Los Angeles.
Dr. Griffin is a well-respected member of the plastic surgery community, and is the author of numerous publications in this field. He believes that building a trusting relationship between physician and patient is of the utmost importance and is a “Golden Cannula Award” winner.
