Dr. Machida is a double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and is a diplomate of both the American Board of Otolaryngology as well as the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science at the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and his M.D. from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Following the completion of his M.D., Dr. Machida completed an internship and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles. He also completed a facial plastic surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the University of Southern California School of Medicine. From 1989 to 1999, Dr. Machida was appointed clinical associate professor at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
In his practice, he believes in integrating excellence, creativity, and integrity in order to ensure the best results and highest level of patient satisfaction and self-esteem. He has received several prestigious honors and awards, including the John Orlando Roe Award in Facial Plastic Surgery and was voted one of the Top Doctors in the Inland Empire in 2012 and 2013.
Dr. Machida is married with two children and enjoys riding motorcycles and coaching basketball in his spare time. He is also active in his community service participation and has been on six different medical missions to the Philippines, Guatemala, Brazil, Jamaica, and Mexico.Download pdf
