Dr. Morse is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and at the top of his class (Junior AOA) from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed an Internship and Junior Residency in General Surgery at Barnes Hospital/Washington University and his Senior Residency and Chief General Surgery training at the University of Rochester. Completing Research Fellowships in Pediatric Transplant Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, he was trained in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida and completed an Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
In his private practice, Dr. Morse strives to bring a strong sense of caring and commitment to each patient and believes that trust and understanding are key factors in the patient-surgeon relationship. He has been voted a Top Doctor both nationally and in the Washington DC metro area in both Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery; and, he has also served his country during a distinguished 23 year career in the US Navy and as a NASA flight surgeon.
Dr. Morse has been involved with numerous charitable endeavors including a County Laser Tattoo Removal Clinic for teens in gangs, and he has been the lead surgeon on several volunteer medical missions in Central America and Africa. Dr. Morse and his wife support the arts and humanities, travel extensively, and in their free time enjoy exercise, sporting events, birding, spending time with their canine pack, the movies, and all types of concerts.Download pdf
