Dr. Oberhelman is a Board Certified plastic surgeon who graduated from Ohio University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Athens, OH. She completed both an externship and an internship at OU before continuing to complete two surgical residencies in General Surgery at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and at Mercy Catholic Health System in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Oberhelman did her undergraduate studies at Wright State University, College of Science and Engineering and has completed a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery through the American Academy at Meadows Surgical Arts in Commerce, GA.
Dr. Oberhelman is Board Certified through the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery. She is well respected in the medical field and has received honors for Laparoscopic Resident of the Year at Mercy Suburban Hospital, St. Luke’s Physician Recognition Award at Via Christi Riverside Medical Center and as an American Osteopathic Association Mentor Hall of Fame.
Dr. Oberhelman puts her patient’s safety first and has made that the philosophy of her medical practice. Her charitable contributions are made to the American Cancer Society, after suffering two very personal losses to the disease.
Dr. Oberhelman has been Married for 18 years, has two children and enjoys spending her free time on her houseboat during the warmer months and loves skiing in the winter.Download pdf
