Wong Moon, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Moon is double Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He received his M.D. from Loma Linda University in California and his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California- Los Angeles.

Following medical school, Dr. Moon completed residencies in General Surgery at Western University Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and at Stanford University in California. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, a fellowship in Hand Surgery and Microsurgical Replantation and Transplantation at CPMC – Davies Campus in San Francisco, and a Research Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Vascular Surgery at Stanford University.

In his work, Dr. Moon strives to educate people regarding surgery and to help his patients have realistic expectations throughout the process. He has received numerous awards and is a well-respected author and presenter in the area of plastic surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Moon enjoys playing and repairing pinball machines and watching romantic comedies. In his charitable work, he gives annual donations to local schools and to organizations that provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy for children.
