Brian Porshinsky, M.D.
Dr. Porshinsky is quadruple Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Surgery and the American Board of surgery Critical Care. Graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors, he obtained his Medical Degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Prior to medical school, he attended Carnegin-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Dr. Porshinsky continued his medical education with a Residency in General Surgery at Medical College of Ohio, then went on to advance his education with Fellowships in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Burn Surgery and Critical Care at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Surgical Critical Care at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Porshinsky has more than 19 years of diverse surgical experience; mostly specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Associate Director of the Burn Center at Ohio State University and as Associate Director to the Burn Center at Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Porshinsky has a passion for education and given numerous clinical presentations to a vast medical community over the years. In his spare time he enjoys piano, tennis and antique collecting. He lives in Creve Cove with his wife and daughter.Download PDF Back To All Physicians
