Gary M. Brownstein, M.D.

Dr. Brownstein is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with an M.D. from Thomas Jefferson University and a B.A.in Psychology from Temple University where he graduated Cum laude.

He completed his Residency in General Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Chief Resident in General Surgery at the Presbyterian, University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, and his Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of Cleveland (Case Western Reserve University.)

In addition to private practice, Dr. Brownstein has served as Chief, Division of Plastic Surgery at numerous prestigious hospitals and has held teaching positions at both the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Case Western Reserve University.

A member of several medical societies, including the American Society Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a Past President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Brownstein has received several highly respected medical awards, including “Top Doc” in US News and Medical Report, Castle Connolly Medical, Doctors Across America and the Guide to America’s Top Surgeons.

Dr. Brownstein is an avid reader and enjoys photography. Dr. Brownstein is a husband and a father of three grown children.

He blends his teaching background with his skills, education and experience to provide other plastic surgeons and patients with the counseling and education needed to make sound decisions.
