Henry Paul, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. Paul is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of California, in Irvine, CA. He obtained his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine and subsequently completed his internship and residency there in General Surgery.
Dr. Paul completed the Combined Hand Surgery fellowship at Hartford Hospital/ University of Connecticut and continued his medical fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center.
Dr. Paul received honors through Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and was awarded Resident’s Surgical Instructor of the Year at Howard University during 2011. He took the 1st place Kumit Award at the American Kenpo Karate Association in 2005 and was also awarded a 5th place medal in Triple Jump through NCAA Division 2 Pacific Coast Athletic Association(1978).
In 2011, Dr. Paul successfully climbed Mount Whitney, which is the highest peak in the continental US. In his spare time, Dr. Paul enjoys science fiction (literature & cinema), martial arts, mountain biking and backpacking. He is married with three children and one grandchild.
