“Meh. Underwhelmed
I don’t love that you don’t get to meet your surgeon until you have committed your money, as well as you don’t get to see the facilities either. They stuffed you in a tiny small office in the opposite direction of the surgery center for a consult. For being a medical procedure they did your typical height and weight BMI. When I’m paying for a service based on your BMI doing the height and weight guess is definitely not fair. I have a more muscular build & my BMI is definitely not 30 as they said that I was despite being just under 5 foot at 150 pounds. For a cosmetic and beauty industry I was definitely underwhelmed with the facilities the presentation of the services as well as the staffs overall appearance. I know that sounds really rude and judgmental that their appearance should have any factor to do with my review. however if I’m paying in upwards of 10 grand to have a phenomenal body I would hope that they would invest in their staff to have the same professional appearance. The whole experience felt very claustrophobic and very small beans for the amount of money that they expect you to shell out. A tiny little waiting room in a tiny little consult area in a building with several non medical offices was just not what I was expecting. I came with the intention of spending cash and definitely was quoted about three grand higher than anyone else that I knew. She told me it was my BMI. If you’re going to make me pay based on BMI then give me an accurate reading. Bone structure muscle and water weight are not accounted for on a scale.”

“I am one year post op, and the care and service that I received during and after my procedure have been fantastic. I think that the deciding factor was that they guarantee their work, so if you aren't satisfied, they will work with you to make you happy. Now, I am fully aware that means they my not be able to do what everything the client asks due to medical and other limitations, but that hasn't been and issue for me. I would choose to put the money and time into this over and over. It was a game changer for me.”

“This is an incredible waste of time. They refuse to answer any questions over the phone or email despite contacting you multiple times a day. They refuse to share any info without booking a "consultation", ehich of course is only available at a location 40 miles away during the hours that people normally work. Then they act astonished that this is inconvenient and fall back on telling me that it is "free"....without a single thought to a person's busy schedule or lost income. I find this inconsiderate and I find the refusal to discuss cost with me outside this consultation shady and unhelpful. Feels a lot like you are trying to take advantage of folks by getting them into a setting where they feel obligated to make a purchase rather than simply being transparent with costs.”

“Went to Broomfield office, sold on tummy, waist and back (two sides bra line). Pre-op tells me based on their guidelines that I'm too old at 49yrs and too fat 166lbs (BMI 29) to get out-pt procedure done. It was intimated that other surgeons feel more comfortable with my stats, and it was suggested perhaps do one section at a time instead of all three at once (I totally would do that) however, I did not get the option to get a second surgeon's opinion (perhaps someone with more experience?) , nor doing certain body sections at a time. I'm sure I would do perfectly fine at least with one piece at a time! Instead I got nothing but disappointment. I live at altitude, hike, see a trainer, I'm not unhealthy! There must have been something they could've done for me, my back bra lines at least??? I do not understand.”

“When I first went to Sono Bello the people were very nice and helpful. During the first part of my surgery I passed out from the pain so the top of my stomach fat wasn't removed. However, the doctor went on to finish the mini tummy tuck. So now my stomach is disproportion the top is sticking out and the bottom part is flat. I was told if I wasn't happy to let them know but what they fell to tell me is that no one will contact you back.”

I wish I would have gotten it done when I had my first quote in 2017 when the cost was substantially lower. I decided to save up more money for this procedure that was just a bit out of my price range.
I was soo excited and ready to get it done this time after saving enough money. Unfortunately at my second consultation only 2 years later, I was only requesting once again my lower tummy fat to get lipo on. I’m 5’4” and weigh 148lbs.
I was shocked to find out that the cost was much higher. About $11,000. and that was with the discount.”

The reason for the two stars is based on how they evaluate their pricing. I know three people that have used them with similar BMI and were quoted several thousand dollars less than I was. Even in high school at the peak of my physical fitness with a six pack I was told "according to charts, you're 30lbs overweight". I have a large frame body with wide shoulders so on paper if you simply look at height and weight it's not a true reflection of my body composition. Simply based off those numbers I was quoted nearly $18,400 for the procedure of my mid section with a discount of $2995 for their Febuary special. I was absolutely blown away at the quote and have simply given up on Sono Bello. I've been on several sites of actual Sono Bello customers and have never seen anyone of any size pay more than $10,000. I believe their pricing structure is flawed and my jaw is still on the ground over the quote.”
