Rigo J. Mendoza, M.D.

Dr. Mendoza is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with an M.D. from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in plastic surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit and a residency in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Mendoza has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and distinctions, including receiving honors in his General Surgery Subinternship and CCU Subinternship from Hahnemann University. In addition, he graduated Cum Laude from Adelphi University where he received the Trustee Achievement Scholarship.

Dr. Mendoza has contributed to numerous research studies and publications in plastic surgery and burn wound care. In all of his work, he strives to provide the highest quality of health care for his patients and the best possible aesthetic results to all whom he treats. Dr. Mendoza emphasizes that he takes great care in ensuring that the patient is well informed about the procedure that he/she is considering in order to achieve greater overall patient satisfaction.

Dr. Mendoza is married with two children. He enjoys skiing and traveling with his family. He is an avid sports fan; in particular, professional and youth hockey. Dr. Mendoza is a Level 4 youth hockey coach. Dr. Mendoza is also a proud dance dad.
