“So I go in I have my liposuction and you know I heal pretty fast and pretty well from it and except for this pouch in the friend I just didn’t go away then I go in after my final postop consultation and the doctor or surgeon tells me that he can’t help me so they sent me to the manager and she suggests venous treatments and so I got 10 free ones because I paid more than what I would pay for a car for just liposuction. Venus treatments are slowly working but at the same time I am very upset that the Doctor Who is involved in the liposuction told me that there was nothing more he could do there wasn’t enough fat for him to go back in, and so they didn’t do any edging or anything like that they didn’t tell me that I had to get lymphatic massages right after my surgery. They didn’t tell me I needed to go get any massages or anything like that they didn’t tell me better ways to take care of myself and to make sure that I had the best results possible. I am very upset that I spent over seven grand and my stomach is not the way that I want it to be it is actually worse than it was before I got liposuction before I got fat for the liposuction. If my stomach doesn’t come out the way I want I am going to raise hell.”

“I went to the Sono Bello in Bellevue and talked a consultant and she was nice and told me I was not an ideal candidate because I would likely need a traditional tummy tuck to achieve a flat stomach.
I opted for a second opinion and went to the Tacoma location (the one my friend went to) and met Liz and during the consultation she was so informative, friendly and HELPFUL. She broke it down for me the way I needed. She showed me pictures of what the procedure with AB/Ex could do for me and what they could not do. She wanted to make sure I felt comfortable with the realistic outcome that they could offer.
Also, side note, I Loved the vibe of the Tacoma office, the music etc. The receptionist greeted me like she knew me. Even pronounced my name right and made small talk which made me feel welcomed.
Overall, I appreciate both locations caring about me as a person over just making money, even when that meant telling me what I didn’t want to hear… And Liz needs a raise. She went above and beyond for me. So knowledgeable and funny, yet a true professional. I met with Liz, she was nice and very informative. We discussed what I was interested in and her knowledge and longevity with the racoma office helped me narrow down, change and actually eliminate things that my be unnecessary from a financial and end result perspective.
There's lots of financing options as well as a tailored to what I need/want plan, I appreciate their approach to a range of body types.
My expectation vs reality became more clear and I have more knowledge and confidence in taking any next steps.”

“Scheduling my consult with a busy work/family schedule was a breeze. I called on a Friday for a 1st thing in the morning Saturday appt. I was also permitted to bring my 4month old. My consult was beyond inviting and warm. The receptionist and I shared laughs and I was helped with my paperwork. “Avoid this practice, and likely avoid ALL Sono Bello's for your own financial, physical and mental health.
I went in for a consult in Summer 2022. The initial meetings were friendly enough and after a few days I decided to book the appt. for the suggested surgery. Surgery was completed in Oct. 2023. From that day on it's been nothing but excuses, lies and false promises. I even filed a complaint with BBB which was the only way to get a response from anyone with any kind of "authority". But during the back and forth with them once they learned that BBB automatically closes a complaint as not-resolved if no response is given in 7 days, so I couldn't remove it- crickets. They no longer followed up or followed through. I will never do business with them again, never let any of their chop shop surgeons touch me and will warn anyone that ever utters the company name to run far in the opposite direction.”

“Having my procedure with Sono Bella Tacoma was the worst mistake of my life. The pre-op and consult with the coordinator and the surgeon went just fine. But after surgery (when I needed them most), they let me down so hard.
I had to call them multiple times to get the correct post-surgical garment (they only gave it to me when I called in asking for the practice director). In the follow up appointments, I kept raising concerns about an area that looked uneven. I was told they would keep monitoring it and that it would improve as full results aren’t seen for a year after. So I continued following the post-op instructions and adding lymphatic massages on my own and keeping a good diet.
Now here I am, 15 months post-surgery with even less confidence than I had before surgery. My abdominal area is uneven and I feel so embarrassed to be in a two piece.
I hope I can help others avoid the disappointment and embarrassment I now live with thanks to Sono Bello.”

She sold everything well and made the procedure I was interested in look easy and quick, with easy recovery. I was told I’d only be there for at most 2-4 hours from the time I arrive, complete the procedure, and go home.
Well, after that firs consultation, it was so so so hard to get a hold if Liz. She didn’t respond to any of my texts or emails. I finally sent a message to the “general information” email address. A few days later I received a text from Liz. But then again every message I sent her regarding scheduling, she would not respond. I had to send her multiple messages just to get a response back. When she did respond she told me certain scheduling restrictions which she never told me before. Being a DOCTOR myself, with a very booked up practice, this was very disrespectful treatment of a client.
I was finally able to get a date with the surgeon and a procedure date. I arrived at 10:30-11 AM for my procedure. My husband was told to return at 3 pm, unless called earlier to arrive. He returned at 3 pm, and my procedure didn’t even start yet. Nobody called him for an update. I was waiting there sedated the whole day.
My procedure was supposed to be at 11:30 am. It didn’t start until around 3, and I didn’t finish until after 5 pm. My husband waited in the waiting area for 2+ hours. We didn’t get home until after 6 pm. Our puppy was home alone from 10 am-6pm. My husband couldn’t even make arrangements for our puppy because nobody from Sono bello updated him.
My surgeon was wonderful, but it appears managers are overloading the surgeons with too many surgeries in one day. It was obvious my procedure date and time was double booked or even triple booked. Being a doctor myself, I 100% know this is out if control if the surgeon. This a common practice by healthcare managers to bring in as much business $$$$$ as possible. With little respect to the actual surgeon or patient.
Similar to many other private, corporate, large, micromanaged healthcare facilities, the surgeons and patients at Sono bello are ignored dismissed and disrespected all for the sake bringing in more business.”

“I am very disappointed with this company. On March 25, 2023 I went to a free consultation. At the end of the consultation the individual asked if I would like to see if I qualified for credit. She explicitly stated it was a soft search and would not affect my credit. At this information I said sure. She then informed me that I qualified for credit. I said I would talk it over with my spouse to consider. Yesterday I was researching some fraudulent activity through the credit bureaus only to discover that I had a new credit account. I chased down the credit account and realized Sono Bello created a credit account in my name WITHOUT my authorization.
Let me be really clear, these tactics are misleading, and highly unethical. I saw the exact same complaint of another Sono Bello elsewhere in this country so this seems to be a systemic problem versus a one time error. If this company is willing to deceptively create credit accounts without patient authorization and/or knowledge it truly makes me wonder in what other ways and areas this company is further being deceptive.
Trust is paramount and you have lost mine completely. Shame on you as a company.”

I also received nerve damage from the procedure that hurt…. Like someone stabbed me with a butcher knife. The surgeon acted as though he did not know what I was talking about. I had to see my primary and get a CAT scan just to show sono there were issues. 5 months later I’m still getting the run around about a revision, my painful condition and my ugly results that were promised to be “satisfaction guaranteed”. Save your money. Get a personal trainer, a chef, a procedure somewhere else. I wish I did.”

No 3 ,6 month or one year post op check up? It’s 10.5 months since my surgery and they could care less about me or my results ! - My initial consultation was with Liz. She was informative and fun. However, I was a bit disconcerted to not meet the person who performs the treatment until after it's all booked and paid for. This is how they do it at Sono Bello. They serve a lot of people and it definitely feels like it's a big company. For me this was actually reassuring. They know what they are doing and they do tons of the same procedures so everyone seems really experienced.
- Kelly is the Venus Legacy technician. She is a lovely woman with a calm and competent demeanor. She gets booked up fast so you really have to reserve your treatment in advance.

- The first pass Kelly does is with this warm suction device. It's odd but not unpleasant.
- The second one feels like a hot stone. It was so warm and relaxing I half fell asleep every time.
- As far as results go, I am not sure Venus Legacy did much. You are supposed to do them once a week or once every other week. For various reasons, like vacations and covid, I sometimes went two weeks without a treatment. I also booked them every other week. If I were to do it again, I would definitely make sure to go once a week.
- Additional thoughts would be that Sono Bello is really a liposuction center and I think they probably have the Venus device to assist with liposuction healing and recovery. I don't know how many people really use it as a stand alone procedure.

“I would not recommend. I spent 10k for literally no results. Everything looks exactly as it did before surgery. I've waiting the 3 months to see if the swelling would go down, it has. I haven't gained weight or anything, just no results. Beware of speaking with the consultants too. They're very sweet, but told me I would have amazing results and have all my issues fixed, and then you pay and sign the contract which have an over 2k cancellation fee, and in your first appointment with the doctor you're told that all of the things you were told by the consultant is incorrect and you're not guaranteed any results at all. But by that point, you're already invested so you're hoping for the best.
Total waste. Also, they do not explain well about how much pain and assistance you're going to need post surgery. Honestly, would not recommend and if I could go back in time, I would've just worked out lol. Very disappointing and a waste of 10k I'll never get back.”

“I have been to several plastic surgeons who did not make me comfortable. Each consult They would basically blow off what i wanted. Dr. Plaskon was the first doctor was listened to what i wanted. He did not try to persuade me to get anything different. He made me feel really good about my liposuction .I had my pre-op and surgery within a week. The procedure it’s self was discomforting but it was well worth it. I’m on day 3 i have absolutely no bruising, i do have some swelling but the doctor prepped me before hand so that my recovery was quick. I checked reviews before and looked on websites to find a body my type. Being a person of color and a heavier person, he has given me my confidence back. This facility also gives discounts and promotional services . I’m a real person and i am truly thankful God allowed me to be placed in this facility with this doctor and can attest to his great work! Hopefully my pictures are posted on the website to help others.”

“I underwent surgery in Sonobello on October 4, 2021, with my chin and my front and back bra roll, and the upper and lower abdominal waist and upper arm.I spent almost $16000. I just wanted to clarify some things. For anyone getting this procedure done or thinking about it, starters, when they say that they can remove fat in one procedure, that is false because they only can remove a certain amount of liters. And they have to break this down into two different procedures; if you're getting more than one area done when you go in for your consultation, you do not meet with the surgeon or a nurse. Until pre-Op, you meet with a sales representative who is very friendly but who is not friendly when they are receiving thousands of dollars of your money into their company. And validates you on the path to your dream body. And for any reason, if you have to cancel After meeting with the surgeon before the procedure, they have a strict refund policy. Unfortunately, they do not validate their satisfaction guarantee. I was depressed and physically uneven after my procedure. I had to go back and forth with corporate until May 2022, when they finally agreed to revise, but they didn’t fix all the areas I was unhappy with; they decided to revise two areas which was frustrating Because now I will have to spend additional money elsewhere to fix the things I paid thousands of dollars for please do your research look at their reviews on the better business bureau”

When you see the advertisements, and they say that they can remove all fat from the first procedure, that is not accurate. Either when you go in for a consult, you don’t meet with a nurse or a surgeon. You meet with a sales rep working overtime by selling you a dream to get their sale, and yes, she was friendly. Still, who isn't when they are making thousands of dollars off of you, and before you see a surgeon, you must put your money down, and if for any reason you change your mind when you meet the surgeon, their are no refunds. They will try and add more areas at this appointment, and when they say that satisfaction is guaranteed, that is not accurate either. I had to go back and forth with corporate and the nurses for months, and in May, They finally did agree to revise but only in two areas and not the other four areas I was unhappy with and will now have to spend more money to get it fixed I just wanted share, so no one else spends thousands of dollars thinking they will have the results they have dreamed of and FYI I Haven't Gained Weight Nor Lost weight, please look into other options before choosing this route I guarantee you'll be saving time and money this is the Walmart of plastic surgery”

I left my information and received a text from Mary in customer care. She was not customer friendly. Implied she’s schedule my consultation and then retreated and told me to call back in 4 weeks to schedule. She then told me she couldn’t schedule for Oct 20, 2022 because of my safety even though I’m 3 months postpartum on Oct 20th. Her poor service doesn’t give me any confidence in the company. The first face or person a potential client/patient sees is the face of the company. I also asked for pricing and basic but important information regarding the AbEX procedure and she replied she didn’t have any information. Everything she did offer was scripted and showcased no real knowledge and that she was not equipped, her lack of information makes me feel the company isn’t transparent and that makes me uncomfortable. I live in Tacoma and asked about scheduling at this location. They don’t do consultations on weekends so it’s just harder and harder, for me, to think Sono Bello puts patients first.”

“Beware, I hate my results. I am having to pay a new surgeon to fix it as I just can't stand it anymore. AND the initial area I went in for was not even touched as you meet with a sales rep not a surgeon during the free consultation, the surgeon told me during the post op that what I wanted was actually a separate surgery. I was upsold a lot of "problem areas" that I had no problem with until the beautiful sales rep mentioned them.
I wish I could just get my old body and 11,000 dollars I paid for them to ruin it back. 😭”

“I obtained my consult in April and surgery in June 2022. There was no pressure to schedule. All my questions were answered and even ones I didn't think of. At my pre-op appointment I met Dr Plaskon. He is funny, honest and very nice. All the nurses were great also. On my surgery day I was nervous but Jasmine my nurse was so friendly and relaxing. Soon Dr Plaskon came in and went over the procedure and marked my skin up. Then I went into the operating room. They played my music for me and the surgery went on. Time flew by. Soon we were done. Today is my 48 hour mark. I am sore but not in pain. I am pleased with my results so far. Can't wait to take my first shower tomorrow lol. Thank you Sonobello, staff and Dr Plaskon.”

Coming into my procedure I was very skeptic after reading reviews on different websites about results.
I am so happy that I went through with my procedure. Doctor Perez is the real deal! WOW!
If you want something done she is so good at what she does and goes above and beyond the results that you are expecting.
Even though you are awake the whole time I found myself waking up and the clock said it was 3 hours later. I must have dozed in-and-out multiple times because time flew like it was 20 minutes. Completely painless and did not feel one single thing.
I would do it all over again and again and again. I feel absolutely amazing today and I know this is just the beginning of the results that I will see once the swelling goes down.
I would say the 1st week and a 1/2 it was really hard to get in-and-out of a chair and in-and-out of bed but now 12 days in I am feeling so much better and absolutely so happy with my results. I would recommend Doctor Perez and her team anytime!!

Dr. Perez and Lexi got me prepped well for my surgery and made the process nearly painless. The numbing part only hurts about as bad as a tattoo, and the surgery itself was completely painless. I am one month past my procedure and already see some great results. This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had shopped around a few places before deciding where to go. I am so happy I came here. They are professional and more importantly know exactly what they are doing. I had seen some things online that honestly had me second guessing if I wanted to go through with this. I am so happy I ignored the naysayers and went with the procedure. Their prices are so affordable that I saved $12k vs had I went to a place I was considering in Bellevue. And honestly I believe not only did I save money, I got a result that is likely better. Nothing against the other place, I just don't know how I could've gotten a better result. They even guarantee their work, so if a year later when completely healed if it isn't right they will fix it. “I spent months debating about whether I should have work done, I’ve been to the gym, I’ve worked all that I could and toned all that needed to be toned but I STILL was not happy with my body. Before I even stepped foot in Sono Bello I prayed about it, I had the money, and everything else to ensure that this won’t kick me back with my bills etc .. I saved up way more than needed to.
I made the decision to see them and spoke with Liz, who not only understood where I was coming from but spoke to me as an actual person - she didn’t try to sell me anything she was just a person hearing me out and letting me know what services they provided and ask ME when “I” wanted to proceed. I didn’t feel like I was getting pressured into anything. After speaking with Liz and almost dropping my whole cash in we decided to go the other route to save me money. I asked her to run my credit (I was qualified) and to book me in ASAP (the longer I waited the longer I’d second guess everything. I didn’t want to regret this one shot I had) so she did. I was approved to where my savings for the procedure can pay the operation and still take care of my family. Dear Liz .. thank you for being you and not treating me like a number or cash symbol. I’m truly glad I spoke with you that day I don’t know what the outcome would’ve been if I didn’t.
My Surgeons name was Dr Plaskon who promised me the truth and ensured that what he could do would be if not what I wanted, close to it. The nurses who assisted were Lexi and Clover. Clover asked what type of music I enjoy and played it in the OR which helped me remain calm throughout the procedure. I was sedated and even through the process provided me squishy’s for me to utilize and kept checking up on me making sure I was okay (I was). I can go on and on about the whole crew from Front Team to back lol they are all just Amazing !! I left Sono Bello happy knowing that the people who took care of me did their very best (and they really did)
Post - Op 24 hrs. I woke up the next day happy and immediately went for a walk. They recommended 10 minutes every two hours but my body clock always wakes up at 5am. I woke up that day and just started walking around, did a brisk walk and made sure I followed my doses of medications recommended by Dr and Nurses. The soreness I felt was equivalent to soreness I would feel if I were to do a full HIIT core workout for 6 hours. I didn’t leak as much as I thought I would so that was a bonus. I’m terrified of any possible infections from occurring so I immediately changed everything (gown, garments, paddings etc) . It’s been a full 24 hours and I can positively say that this whole experience was worth every penny.
I’ve referred at least 3 of my friends to see them. I would 100/100 recommend SonoBello for anyone. For those already in their fitness journey and afraid to come to a clinic like this due to peers statements let me help you. NO you are not lazy if you do this, you are here to become a better you for you - NOT them. If you knew me personally you’d know I’m a gym freak and used to have that same mentality but honey I deserved this … it’s okay to get a little help and I’m glad I chose Sono Bello to help me.
