“It all began with Majic, she was very knowledgeable and helped me make my decision because she reminded me how much I deserved to feel great about myself and was confident they could make it happen for me. Then the nurse that assist me (Tish) on my first visit to talk with the doctor (Statenhost) was prepared for my needing reassurance and she was also very knowledgeable about the procedure and had confidence that I would Love the results. Then when the doctor (Statenhost) walked in it was like he already knew what my goal was and he wanted the same goal for me. He explained what needed to be done in detail and how he would do it and assured me I would not only love it but I would look great. He told me not to worry about anything just follow his instructions and let him make magic happen. The day of the surgery I have to admit I was nervous and that’s when I met Veronica (amazing person) she treated me like family, she made me relax and seemed as excited as if she couldn’t wait to see the results. I didn’t experience any pain during the procedure and very little once I got home. Kenny and Joycelyn worked with me on setting up my appointments (even with my difficult schedule) they made it happen and did not show any frustration, it was like it was all about me. My procedure outcome at first looked ugly ( black and blue and lumpy and scary ) but 2wreks later and one month out it looks amazing. I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience and I can’t wait to experience the Venus procedure I’m being told that it will be the icing on the cake so I’m very excited.”

“The morning of my procedure I was a bit nervous but the staff really made me relax so much until I was actually laughing. I had called the day before procedure and had what I call silly questions but they did not see them as silly and they answered each of my concerns. Shyesha was wonderful as she kept checking on me before the procedure started. Then my handsome, happy doctor (Stapenhorst) came in and it was very important to me that he had an upbeat spirit the morning of my procedure, just like he had on our first visit when we discussed the results I expected, and he did not let me down, when I asked him if he was having a Good day his response was “I m having a Great Day! and that made me relax even more. When I came for my consultations I first met Majik she was a delight, she had the body I wanted and her personality and knowledge was untouchable. She made me feel so important and my concerns about my body was her concern and at that time nothing else mattered. My second visit I met Tish ( she might have another name but she told me to call her Tish) now this is what sealed the deal, I had saw the cost and was talking to myself about what was I doing, at this age who cares what I look like and what I could do with that money, then Tish walked in the room in the middle of my thoughts and she ask how was I doing and if I was ready so I took a deep breathe and shared my thoughts and she said the most important thing to me , she said You deserve to treat yourself and don’t think about what others would say because if you gave them the money they would do it for themselves, so make your own dreams come true. So I decided to get rid of what I called skinny fat. People would say to me you’re not fat but when I looked in the mirror or looked at my pictures with family all I saw when I looked at me was stomach. It is only day two for me and I must say it’s nothing like the you tube videos I saw, those scared me, so I expected the worst, but for me NO nausea, No severe loopiness, some pain but bearable, my stomach feels like I did allot of sit ups Unless there is an unforeseen problem coming I am amazed at how good I feel,”

“The staff was great but the results were terrible. I spent a lot of money for nothing but a big, ugly scar. I’m 8 months out now so plenty of time for results to show. It was truly a waste of money. I was specific about what I wanted to achieve during my surgical consultation and they wait until my 6 month post op to tell me they couldn’t achieve what I wanted with lipo. No offer of refund. Never saw the surgeon again after the procedure. Do yourself a favor and consult with a surgeon that is not tied to one type of procedure before you make up your mind. You’ll get a much more honest assessment and options to help you achieve your goals.
Update - Sono Bello has addressed my concerns satisfactorily.”

“Don't use them!‼️ I repeat..Don't Use Them. Look at their corporate page and see the reviews. I have been hesitant to write this review because I am so mentally stressed about how bad my results are. It has been 8 months post op and it makes me so sad I chose this company. The results are devastatingly horrible. I am hoping to save one women from the mental pain I experience everyday when I look at my stomach. The only good thing about this location is the admin and nurses. They have all been very nice but at the end of the day you want results. I was an out of state patient. I followed all post procedures. Weekly lymphatic massages and wearing my compression garment. After my doctor saw my results through pictures, during my 3 post-op follow-up, he said "Yes that is what you will look like." There was ZERO, I mean ZERO embarrassment or concern for how bad his work was. It still shocks me a doctor could look at a patient, clearly see how uneven and lumpy the texture looks, my lower back looks as if some fat was left bc its clearly bigger than the other side and he states "Yes that is how it will look". He also said it so casually as if his words held no weight. Again, no shame for how in his cosmetic work turned out. They have offered to see me again but after the callus attitude and lack of concerned of my physician I will look else where. I am fully aware I probably signed a document the absolves responsibility. I am fully aware this was an elective surgery and I chose this company. I am not looking to get compensation. This is a very strong warning to seek out other places for procedures. “I am a senior and had Lipo with AbEX. After having children and undergoing an emergency hysterectomy, and losing weight, my stomach had lost its elasticity and I had a huge scar and no confidence. I heard about Sono Belo so I went in for a consult. I found that my problems could be eliminated in just one visit, so to me it was a no brainer. I only wanted the best though. I met Dr. Stapenhorst and he was very straightforward, transparent and honest about the procedure and what kind of results I should expect. I knew I had the best. During this process we had a hurricane, power outage, my dog ate my medication and procedure instructions etc. I was so worried.
Jocelynne was the calm to my hurricane, she was kind and kept the communication going and was always available for any questions I had. The staff was so amazing. The team is huge and everyone is so kind. Fast forward, I am 2 weeks out of surgery and back to my normal routine. My body looks better than ever. The only thing I wish I had done differently is doing this much sooner. Clothes shopping is going to be so much fun. My husband can even tell how my confidence is coming back. After the procedure I was fitted with a compressor garment by the same nurse who was there with me the whole time she was great. Dr Egu has wonderful and respectfully manners he was available when I could not reach the front desk once I got home . So I text him and he responded quickly and I need his help more than once so thank you Dr Egu. The the videos stated this is a big help because it in tell the transformation of your body. Nurse Veronica help me with the time came for my next garment, she also in formed me on nutrition. “I went to my Sonobello post- op appointment yesterday, and everything was great. I'm very satisfied with the whole procedure. I noticed that staying active makes a big difference in comfort—just sitting around will slow your recovery. The more I moved, the better I felt. Now, four weeks post-op, I'm excited to go swimming and wear my swimsuit.
The staff was phenomenal. All the nurses Latisha, shyesha, Karina, Brittany, Veronica & Macila and of course Dr. Slapenhorst were always open to questions and provided clear answers. The doctor has over 20 years of experience, and I would totally recommend him. He's awesome and a pleasure to visit with. Kenny, a handsome young man on the staff, was also great and very professional and ofcourse Jocelynne a very professional lady.
The healing process wasn't very painful, just manageable. I attended a wedding three days after my procedure and felt fine, only needing pain meds twice during the whole recovery. Overall, I'd rate my experience a nine out of ten.”

“Do not recommend. Left with large punctured hole scars from lipo 1.5 years after surgery. They will tell you it will be freckled size or hardly visible. Mine are still Very noticeable. “I have been botched by Stapenhorst and Sono Bello is doing absolutely nothing to fix it. I wanted to get my hips smoothed for a more natural look and also remove some unwanted fat from my lower back. Now I am left with hip dips and an appearance of a rubber band around my waist where he over suctioned my hips and under suctioned my lower back. Sono Bello is not willing to fix it nor address the issue. I hate to look in the mirror and wear tight clothing because of my ridiculous looking figure thanks to Stapenhorst/Sono Bello. Please, do your research before you even consider this place and completely avoid this place altogether. Do not try to save money like I did as this clinic is nothing but a factory that absolutely does not care whether you get the results you want or get botched. The clinic manager Adrien is very dismissive and promised to address the issue almost a month ago, I have yet to hear from her. Before you consider getting liposuction, please, do your research and find a trusting plastic surgeon. If you want to avoid being botched like me, avoid Sono Hello!”

“You get what you pay for. Sonobello was inexpensive compared to other places, but my experience was worse. First, they make you pay (non refundable) before you have the pre-op appt with the doctor. Then, they told me not to buy a faja bc my package includes 2. What they fail to say, is that you only get your second one 2 weeks after your surgery. So good luck trying to stay clean. At the pre-op appt, they forgot to give me the arnica pills that they told me to take prior to surgery. Finally, they have no time to schedule my post op appt... And will not schedule my Venus treatments ahead of time (because my schedule doesn't matter to them. Only their schedule is to be considered).”

“First and foremost, I would strongly advise one interested in this to DO YOUR RESEARCH! This includes reading the reviews for the company. Then based upon the reviews and your research, formulate a list of questions if and when you decide to schedule a consultation. Bring those questions and and ask specific details about your recovery and a 'true depiction' of what to expect during and after the procedure.
I am a healthcare provider of 20+ years and thought I asked the 'right questions' but unfortunately I did not. I am 4.5 weeks in recovery and have experienced things that WERE NOT elaborated upon. MINIMALLY INVASIVE IT IS NOT!! I would never recommend having this procedure without some type of monitored anesthesia care or deep sedation. It is tortuous.... barbaric even- being awake and only received a by mouth (PO) antibiotic and pain pill.
You're told that there will be leaking. The truth is, I was bleeding and it was flowing like a river, changing dressings every 2 hours.
I sent a message on the 2nd weekend of my recovery asking for neuropathic (nerve pain) medicine as they don't explain the intense 'stabbing pains' that come randomly and take your breath away. Ask your MD during the preop for Gabapentin or Neurotin in advance of your procedure. Nevertheless, I did not hear anything by Wednesday, so I called to follow up. I was told that my message had been overlooked and that the message would be sent to my performing surgeon. Let's just say, I am in week 4.5 of my recovery and I am yet to hear back from the nurse or the surgeon! Unprofessional!!! and UNCARING!!!! They see you one week post op and then send you on your way for 3 months with a lack of responsiveness when you have concerns.
Also, research therapist that perform lymphatic massages IN ADVANCE of your procedure. Ask them questions. Sonobello fails to provide informed, transparent expectations of your procedure. This is the reason I caution anyone going this route and strongly advise to DO YOUR RESEARCH. As a healthcare provider, I have debated for 2 weeks whether to leave this review, but since it's is weighing on my mind, I feel this will be beneficial for someone else considering liposuction. If you do it, do it with a provider that provides deep sedation and is responsive to your needs/ concerns/ and that has more frequently scheduled post op appointments to ensure all is healing in the manner that it should.

The follow -up after my procedure was non-existent, I didn't hear from Sono Bello at all, no one called me to check on me, I had to call the day after because I had a post-procedure questions. Currently I’m tryin to swap to a different location for revision work bc I’m convinced the “doctor” I had is either lazy or just incompetent. 3 months after procedure with zero results! Disappointment would be the understatement of the century! Best case scenario is I get to see someone else at the 6 month mark and it be dove correctly this time. “To start with… the front desk personnel, Kenny, Amelia & Jocelyne, are “on top of it”. Check in is fast and easy. They know the questions to ask and have the answers to my questions. All three are very friendly but also professional. Dr. Madjidi was pleasant and was sure I understood what the procedure was. Jada assisted her with my procedure. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time of my procedure. The RNs were exceptional. On every visit I was treated like a “#1 patient”. There were no long waits in the exam room for the RN or the doctor. Today was my first Venus treatment. Oh. My. God! It felt so good. Jakia went over everything with me… what the treatment would feel like, what it’s designed to do to help with the healing, etc. Jakia is professional and friendly. I felt completely at ease.
Any questions I had about my procedure 1, 2, 3+ weeks after my procedure were answered with a call back as quickly as an RN was free. There was no “We will ‘try’ to get back to you ASAP”. The RN called me within an hour to answer my question and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with her answer/explanation. I would definitely recommend this SonoBelo office to anyone desiring the procedure.”

“I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the panniculectomy procedure my nanny underwent at this location by Dr. Stapenhorst. Unfortunately, her experience with this physician has been extremely unsatisfactory, and I feel compelled to share her story to prevent others from going through a similar ordeal.
First and foremost, the results of the were far from what she expected and discussed during the initial consultations. The outcome of the procedure was not only aesthetically displeasing but also caused significant physical discomfort and emotional distress. It is evident that the physician did not possess the necessary skills or attention to detail required for such a delicate surgery. By the way she is almost 70 years old an he performed this procedure as if she was a healthy 20 year old. Complete red flag. No prior labs NOTHING!
The physician's dismissive attitude and failure to address her post-operative complications only exacerbated her frustration an left her in the emergency room with an extra large infected wound. She will be scarred for life an he doesn’t care.
Furthermore, the lack of follow-up and support from the physician and their staff was disheartening. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance and clarification regarding her concerns, she was met with unresponsiveness and a complete disregard for her well-being. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable.
I strongly advise anyone considering a tummy tuck or panniculectomy procedure to thoroughly research and carefully select a qualified and compassionate physician who prioritizes patient care and safety.
It is my hope that by sharing her unfortunate experience, others will be spared from going to this non sterile incompetent facility.”

“I am not happy with my lipo results. After 6 weeks now, I have real bad fibrosis, so far I have spent over $2000 in lymphatic and post op massages. I believe this could had been avoided if Dr. Madjidi had drained my seroma when I went to see her 2 weeks after my surgery. I was having fluid and pain, her comments were: seromas are absorbed by the body and was not happy with the idea that I had gone to your clinic the week before and had the seroma drained by one of your other Physicians. Also, when I left the clinic after surgery, I was given after care instructions but Dr. Madjidi never mentioned about lymphatic massages, which I learned a week later when your other physician drained the seroma and said I needed them asap. At this point, I don’t think Dr. Madjadi is up today with after care treatments. I know now that post op care are as important as the surgery for optimal results.”

“Dr. Majidi was my doctor. I was not happy with my final results, I sought a follow up with her to make corrections because I wasn’t happy with final results. Just like our initial meeting she was an hour late and only met with me for 9-14 minutes. I’m 7months post op. I asked for her to fix the uneven upper abs, she quickly turned into a car salesman, talking fast going back on her word, and rushing through visit talking fast to get me to accept the results. . She told me “she was done” and the rest was up to me and exercise. When I pointed out the issue areas she blamed excess skin, that could literally be used for anything just as excuse for not giving good results. During my surgery she was getting tired and just stopped, they wrap you do you dont get to see results right away then you swell up with 24hours.
The amount of money I paid just for these half results is upsetting. I’ve seen better results from other places.
I’m convinced she didn’t want to fix the issues because she already got paid. why would she spend time to correct something she got paid 7 months ago to do when she can use that time on a new person who just paid?!”

“I had a consultation with Trina Hawkins today. Least to say, her energy was negative. An app on my phone went off as I sat down, she looked annoyed. I mentioned that's my water intake app. Her "non response" was another indicator, she was annoyed. At that time, I was a little annoyed too by her lack of common sense/courtesy. Throughout her presentation, she seemed a little impatient and rushed. When we discussed the final cost, I tried to get clarity on cost and scheduling, again I felt I was annoying her. As a Christian myself, (I figured she was as well based on the Christian music she was singing and listening to as she input info into my account), I would expect much better customer service. At the end of the quick appointment, I said, "thank you". Again, no response, not "your welcome" or "have a nice day". Seems like my body absorbed the lidocaine that was given to me much quicker than other people. So I felt everything after it wore off. It was incredibly painful. I know it's rare, but this is something that should be a warning to patients before getting the procedure done. And nobody told me this could happen. I was under the impression it was supposed to be painless, according to the research I did beforehand. I know they probably want me to remove this review, but I will not because people need to know that this is a possibility that this can happen to them. And I DO NOT want anyone to go through the pain I went through. If they don't warn people beforehand, then I will!”

“Zero stars. Unethical. Beware. I was so excited to schedule my consultation but was very disappointed in the outcome. I visited the Sonobello (Bellaire, Tx location) last month. I thought I would consult with a doctor, but i was consulted by a sales lady Jessica Dupry. She spoke to me like she had medical experience and even asked me to undress so she could view the areas. She lied and told me my BMI was one specific number and it was incorrect. I asked if I would be seeing a doctor prior to the surgery being scheduled and she said no. After leaving the office and speaking with my husband i decided to meet with my PCP to ensure this was safe and that i would be ok doing it with only local anesthesia. I met with my primary care physician and she advised me not to have the procedure because i would be a high risk candidate with my bmi being so high (which was a total different number than what Jessica gave me). I called to cancel the service and was told i needed to come in to cancel, which would mean me leaving work to simply cancel an appointment. Jessica attitude completely changed, she was rude and showed no compassion. I was also told i would not be refunded all of my money. I find this unethical and dishonest to say the least. I found out after the fact that Jessica is a salesperson. She is not a doctor and not licensed to give consultations or ok a person for treatment. I will report them to the BBB and I've already filed a police report as well. I will also report this to the medical board if this issue is not resolved. My advice is to not go unless you meet with the actual doctor. Do not pay them until you are 100% sure. They made an unauthorized copy of my credit card and i didn't know until they charged my card a second time without my consent. I would also advise you spend a little more money and go to a board certified surgeon who provides service in the hospital and not in a clinic setting.”

“This was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life and I have a high tolerance. They tell you it’s gentle suction with minimal pain. Do not believe this. I am still having trouble sleeping after 2 days due to the trauma I went through. My mind keeps going back to me screaming and crying on the table and the dr yelling at me to stop moving, the blood pressure cuff inflating so tight my arm was numb, of course that was my fault per the dr. Then there’s the stress ball they give you. Really!?!?? Please, Please do not do this!!!”

Everything went so smoothly from the first initial meeting with Russia. I then came in to meet Dr. Ebu and Jeanette to discuss my upcoming surgery. “I had a surgery with Dr Stapenhorst at Sonobellao Houston yesterday. The procedure was horrible and painful. I was Groaning half of the time some part of it I was screaming and raise my hand and knees and the worst part he wouldn’t even care he would just say put your hand down and himself push my hand down and continuing working digging digging without stopping for even one second !! That was very careless and unprofessional from his part. After about 10 minutes or so, because of so much pain I asked him to stop stop and he said if I stop I just have to leave it like that. And I said ok because I could not handle it anymore, and then he decided to inject more of the numbing solution and then it felt better. This was a terrible experience. I did not expect that from a professional surgeon so careless to his patient.”

“Not very impressed with the free consultation. It was very basic and focused more on financing than anything else. The woman weighed me with clothes and shoes on, and knocked an inch off of my height, to get a better BMI for them in terms of their pricing...since this is what they use to estimate fat removal and cost. 3 areas losing a potential of 3-5 inches was $19k....laughable when I could get a full Mommy makeover for the same, if not less. I must have appeared to be ignorant. 😆 You wouldn't locate my information as a patient because I was not a patient, I was a prospect... and I registered under my yahoo email address. Had a better experience at Ideal Image for a fraction of the cost of Sono Bello with no wounds, sedation, etc.I also don't appreciate Michael at Sono Bello leaving me a voicemail telling me he wanted to discuss my review from a manager's point of view. I guess they just randomly pick 1 of the 5 there. Seems so impersonal and money driven. During the follow up consult he explained the process and gave me a clear picture of what to expect. During my procedure Dr.Stapenhorst made shire I was dim and consistently told me I was doing great. He kept me informed on everything he was doing. On the day of the surgery and post op visits all the nurses were very attentive and nurturing. Lisa,Latisha, Kat, Mercedes, Jasmine, Don, Marcela, and Moneisha are true examples of customer service. Everyone took the time to answer my questions and walk me through the process which make me feel like I was a celebrity. Dr. Stapenhorst called to after hours to check on me and asked if I needed anything. My Venus treatments with Jakia were wonderful. Jakia worked around my schedule to ensure my treatments were completed and offered tips I could perform at home. I’m very pleased with my results. I saw a drastic improvement after my first month. The woman weighed me with clothes and shoes on, and knocked an inch off of my height, to get a better BMI for them in terms of their pricing...since this is what they use to estimate fat removal and cost. 3 areas losing a potential of 3-5 inches was $19k....laughable when I could get a full Mommy makeover for the same, if not less. “The office off it’s really nice, that’s the only thing nice I would say about this place. I I went for a consultation and I was told completely different than what the procedure was, after my three month check up on my procedure I told him I wasn’t very happy how the back Still looked, I was told by the nurse that I had to wait at least six months to see a difference in my procedure. I asked for the doctor to see me before I left, she wasn’t available I didn’t make another appointment I lived an hour and a half away and I do miss another day of work. After making that appointment and Dr. saw me and she said that I was still very swollen and I had to wait at least until I reach my six months. I went back six months check up with the doctor and not explain to her that I was still satisfy how I still looked and she said to me again that I was swollen, I don’t think it was still swollen after six months, I just express again my feelings and let her know that I was not satisfied with the results ,she was very upset that I insulted her, I did not like the way I looked and she stormed out of the room and never came back the nurse didn’t know what to do at that point so I got dressed and left. I do not recommend this place it’s been a year and I still look the same as I went the first time it’s been all that money, I feel I wasted my money in my time if I would’ve known I would’ve spent the extra dollars and gone to a real plastic surgeon.”

“Houston, Bellair Office - I was extremely nervous. From my consultation to the day of my schedule procedure. Initially the nurse I was assigned to was more about giving instructions as to what she needed me to do (it was natural for her, but it was like she was speaking greek to me bcuz this was my very first time ever having a procedure like this done). Later when the nurse Moneisha came in to give me my IV, she was so much more approachable, she told me I will do just fine, it was the way she said it. A calmness immediately came over me. “I just had my surgery there yesterday and it was a very uncomfortable and painful experience. I chose sonobello due to the promise of comfortability and minimal pain. However my doctor had a very abrasive bedside manor, and lacked compassion. She was very rough with me through the procedure, and when I complained about pain she said “if I give you medicine I will just remove it with the liposuction tool so it won’t work.” And proceeded to continue regardless if my discomfort. She also handled me aggressively throughout the procedure. Scolding me when I was about to fall off of the table, aggressively pushing my arm out of the way. I made it through the procedure however I will never forget how this woman made me feel, a little less than human. Over all it was extremely painful, and I instead of being excited about my results I am traumatized from the entire thing. It’s unfortunate because I was so excited about this, I will never get another procedure with song bello again in my life!!”

After 6 months I wS not satisfied with the results and was told to wait atleast a year due to swelling to see the results I wanted. We played phone tag for a minute. Our conversation was around 30 minutes based on my concerns not what the policy stated. I hung up the phone as if I had talked to a long time homegirl- knowing that my voice was heard.
Please do your research, ask fact finding questions and do not hesitate to ask that (dumb) question. She told me that I would send photos of myself now and will discuss with a nurse during this appointment. I informed her that I was not pleased with my results and truly was ready to cry. I mentioned to her that my daughter sadly told me that I looked like I had nothing done. Jakia said once I meet with the nurse then Sono Bello can set up an appointment with the doctor that performed my surgery to make it right. I am going to stay hopeful that I can get to the results that I went in in the first place;upper and lower abs and under bra area. Jakia truly made me feel this will be an easy process and I will be back on track with my journey I set on upon researching Sono Bello Houston in the first place. I trust my story will be a success. I will keep you posted.

I had to opportunity to interact with all Front Desk staff- Amelia, Jakia, Kenny all were dressed runway ready, curtious, helpful and friendly.
My PCC- Trina made me feel like I was talking to one of my homegirls from way back. She did not try to upsale as I thought I needed more areas. Plus she made it her mission to extend all offers I could take advantage of.
Dr. Madjidi was amazing. Her bedside manner was all I expected plus more. She was straight to the point, answered all my questions and even shared a laugh with me which was pleasing and made me feel that more comfortable at my PostOp appointment. Day of surgery I was not nervous at all. My nurse Moneisha kept me informed on my blood pressure as it was important for me to keep track. I told jokes, sang and even shared a few quotes or two. I was awake the entire procedure. I did feel some pressure yet Dr Madjudi talked me through all that I would potentially feel and what she was doing. Perfection!
I met or talked to all of the Nurses: Don, Jasmine, Marcela, Dawn, Cori, Moneisha, Bryan, Amber who answered before and after questions without hesitation. They make Sono Bello Houston a great experience. I crossed paths with both RN's Kat and Veronica who were excited for me the day of my surgery. Thank you.
I spoke with CM- Adrien as there was a delay in my package. She made sure that she would get me my garmet and I had nothing to worry about. She did just what she said. I met the PM- Michael at my follow up visit and he was the icing on the cake. He was extremely personable acknowledging me by name. He informed me he received a document via email and he was personally going to have my doctor review it. He called me with updates. I truly appreciate him going the extra mile to show I was not just another patient but another success story.

“Follow-up: The company contacted me to try and make me happy with my results but due to my experience I refuse to go back there and go through that again. When I told them no, they then told me they would refund me for any cost of follow-up procedures but in order to do that I would need to sign a agreement to delete my review off of the site and also would be unable to have any further procedures with the company in the future (which I wouldn't anyway) but, they were basically trying to pay me off in order to delete my negative review and "shut-up" about my experience. As you can see since my post is still up, I refused the offer......
It makes me wonder if there were any other negative reviews regarding the company that were deleted after being paid...
Initial Review: I had waist, abdominal, and back done June of 2021. I also was told it would not be very painful during the procedure and they lied! It was excruciating pain and burning. The dr would not stop for the burning to subside and when she injected the numbing agent under my skin I cried the entire time it hurt so bad. Also, during the procedure there were other men and women nurses and doctors coming in while I was exposed and fully naked. I am not happy with my results following the procedure and do NOT recommend this facility”

“My experience from the beginning was awesome! To start - Amanda greeted us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable and consultation with Julie was great. She was able to give good direction and insight on the procedure as well as our finances options. My husband and I were very informed and I decided to move forward with the process. Kenny called confirm my Pre-Op appointment and also answered a few questions that I had with no problem!
When I arrived for my Pre-Op appointment, I was greeted by Amelia with a smile which made me feel more at ease! Nurse Jasmine was very nice, warm and friendly. She explained to me what I should expect and what needed to be done prior to surgery. Meeting Dr. Stapenhorst, was a pleasure. On surgery date, I was greeted by Kenny with a smile again!! My nurse was Moniesha. She came in with a smile and prepped me for surgery. She made me feel comfortable and safe during the process! Well I decided to move on with the procedure, because I tried everything and could not loose the weight and was hiding myself behind larger sizes of clothes. Micheal, my miracle person was wonderful, he helped me set up everything and making every step along the way to work smoothly and to my needs.
My first appointment came and met my Dr. Madjidi. She was amazing, being nervous and embarrassed to show my body, she made me so comfortable and explained every step with confidence on what she was going to do. I can't explain how excited I felt. There again I was overwhelmed with confidence and happiness. You could not ask for a better person (Doctor) wish she my family doctor and need more like her.
Well the big day came, scare s--t less, nervous and excited all in one. The procedure was just totally amazing and pain free. My nurses Cori
and Marcela, two most thoughtful young ladies, treated me with such awesome bedside manners. They will go along way in life. Keep up the awesome work. You two are people persons, know how to treat people. I was totally comfortable during the whole procedure and with that in mind I had 4 areas done.

“I had my procedure done 6/21 And it was the worst pain I’ve experienced. I was told it was minimal to zero pain but when the dr got started thwy injected me with the numbing agent but immediately got started. I FELT EVERYTHING. this was the most traumatizing experience and the dr even asked while jabbing me with the instrument “WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS IF I COULDNT HANDLE IT?” and my only answer to that is THIS WAS DESCRIBED TO ME AS PAINLESS!! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I also have hard spots in my lower and upper abdomen that make my stomach look lumpy.”

“I have a major fear of pain. In fact my major concern was experiencing severe pain post procedure. I addressed my concern with Dr. Atun prior to my procedure and he assured me he would make sure I was comfortable and experience as less pain as possible. He also told me if at any point during the procedure I experienced pain all I had to do is let him know and he would make the necessary adjustments.
Dr. Atun is a man of his word, I am very pleased with my results and pain level post procedure. Surprisingly I have had no pain only discomfort from the swelling and skin feeling tight for about two weeks. Similar to how you feel if you over eat.

“My experience at SB in Houston, Texas was STELAR! Had my procedure 08/11. Had 4 areas done, the upper abs, lower abs, waist, and hips. I've gone from a size 10 to size 8, and that’s just 2 weeks postop. I can’t wait to see how much smaller my waist will be in the coming months.
From my initial appointment walking through the door Kenny, and Michael W. were both professional, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. My initial first appointment with PCC, Majik, was both informative and thorough. She answered all my questions during the consult and responded back to me quickly by email. I explained how important it was for me to have a surgeon with good bedside manners. She made several recommendations, but setup my preop appointment with Dr. Madjidi. I needed to have this procedure done sooner and she made it happen. At no time did she try to convince me to have other areas done, and I didn’t feel like she was trying to sell me other procedures. She was professional and fantastic.
Wow! I can’t begin to say what a wonderful surgeon Dr. Madiji was. She was personable, empathetic, professional and has great bedside man bars. She took the time to inform me about the procedures, answered all my questions (and there were many), and made me feel comfortable enough to move forward. We even discussed pros and cons of certain areas I wanted treated. She was honest about what I should expect, and even made a recommendation on switching treatment location on another area I initially wanted done. I’m glad I went with her recommendation, because I am very pleased so far with the outcome. I am so pleased Majik recommend her because my experience with her was amazing. I’m already seeing amazing results and I’m just 2 weeks postop.
My nurses, Veronica, and Don were both kind, informative, and practically held my hand through the entire process. Don spoke to me during the procedure as did Dr. Madiji in letting me know what they were doing, what areas were being treated, and asking if at anytime I felt any discomfort to let them know. My Nurse Veronica provided me with the postop information and explained what to expect the first and second week. I saw Veronica at my 1st week appointment and she was charismatic, asked how I was feeling and provided information and tips during my recovery and beyond my 1st.
I want to do a few more areas and I 100% recommend this place. The next areas will be the upper and lower back and bra rolls. “Terrible! I went for liposuction on upper abdomen, waist, and lower abdomen. Turned out lumpy all over. He was supposed to work on 3 areas putting 5-6 incisions. He put 2 incisions on lower area and only worked from there to remove the fat cells. I’m going to have to have revision surgery done at a reputable place. Sono Bello is awful I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone quite frankly I should’ve brought them to court and demanded my $5000 back! AWFUL!!!!

I can tell you, I remembered everything and it was PAINFUL. Thanks for that stress ball. No help at all. Doctor was forceful and not a caring person. I felt that I was just a check box on his day. I got some results, but the scar tissue left over is worse than the fat from before. I’m at the gym 3-5 days a week and thought this would help. It did not. I also have permanent scars from the procedure that are still obvious after over a year and a half. Don’t do it.”

“never gave my results a second thought , the doctor never considered what it must feel like being rushed through pre op and procedure, sent home without clear instructions, overlooked on follow up visits and deceived into believing things would smooth out. Left this bad review and was contacted by Sonobello offering me a partial refund to take it down. I refused. They should b ashamed of themselves and the dr I had should b made to relinquish his license. His rudeness, narcissistic, overall lack of concern for the well being of his patients should not b tolerated by the other drs in that practice. Not just unethical. It should b illegal! The only way I would consider removing this review Stephanie is if Sonobello reimbursed the $7000. My husband paid for my botched results. I know there are others out there that have similar experiences as mine and the only sick consolation I have concerning my procedure is that I am 54 yrs old and know there is more to life than the figure I use to have. It wud be enuf for me to want to bring civil action if I were a young girl having to look at my scarred results EVERY TIME I DISROBE. Each time I have shared my experience w anyone they believe I have more than enough to sue the hell out of you. Your false advertising should be noted also as it was anything but virtually pain free and your claim patients can return to work in days is not only a false claim if their job is anything but answering a phone. It’s not reasonable to try to return at that time let alone safe. It sounds good and feasible because that’s abt all anyone can afford to be out of work. I’ve contacted and reported Sonobello to the greater Houston better business bureau and am looking for a media source to tell my story to. Your high pressure sales tactics remind me of my days in the health club business but it should be illegal to sale medical procedures to patients seeking body contouring. It contributes to the total lack of consideration and concern for the public’s health your business should stand on. There are so many aspects that are my experience w Sonobello and their complete lack of meeting their promise it is alarming. I have had adjustments to replace my stomach back to its original place so I’ll add the shifting of my organs to my long line of grievances. I chose Sonobello because of their reviews and to be approach by Sonobello for partial compensation refund w a quick email of all the legal jargon,' already complete w all your stipulations for your protection, If I would remove my bad review, made me sick. How you sleep at night , Drs as well as staff , I don’t know. Thank God for freedom of speech and press, as it is my only compensation or peace. The other doctors in this practice should protect their license and practice from being scarred like Dr Atun scarred me. That is why it is good to have a healthy dose of good and bad reviews. To protect others that are innocent from being hurt that otherwise wud not be aware of the dangers . You shouldn’t have to become a dissatisfied disfigured patient of Sonobello to learn of the many things that are , and can go wrong with their service.”
