“I have struggled my entire life with my weight and got pretty heavy in College, mostly from stress. Lost quite a bit of weight and had an unsightly skin flap on my abdomen. It was like an alien being wrapped around my waist. It would get moist underneath, itchy, downright annoying. For years, I'd stand in front of the mirror and wish that somewhat flat flab roll could be just cut off. But regular folks like me don't get cosmetic surgery. As I got older and had a better appreciation of who I was, what I had accomplished in my life, I felt I deserved to stop hiding this foreign body. I considered going to Mexico to save money, but thought I'd wind up on Botched. I happened to see a Sonobello commercial when I was on a girl's weekend. The ladies on the commercial had similar love handles and excess skin and the transformations were amazing! I never spend money on myself. I color my own hair, do my own acrylic nails, etc. Decided removal of this annoying flab roll was the greatest gift I could give to myself. My initial appointment was very informative, so I took the plunge. I have NEVER met a finer prep nurse than Erika, she explored my normally difficult to find veins to make sure the anesthesia would be delivered to keep me comfortable. She REALLY aided me thru the surgery both mentally & physically - a true professional! Dr Park made me feel at ease and his attention to detail was exemplary. I'm in day 3 post op, have only taken one painkiller. I've been on every diet on the planet and at age 65, diets were never going to take my love handles away. Now I've got a few million less fat cells in my body and look forward to seeing my abdominal without the resident alien. Thank you Sonobello for making a dream come true!”

My results look great even with the swelling. So far my recovery is progressing well. The procedure itself was tolerable. The drug cocktail you are given and local lidocaine injections do their job. I’m not going to sugar coat that the first few days are difficult. Thank God my husband was there for me 24/7 and still is (I’m 64 and we are both retired). I had to sleep in a recliner for about 4 days because of the incision in my stomach. I did self massage, wore my compression garment all the time and still wear it, because it is so comfortable. At seven months my stomach is still hard and numb, but was told it could take a year. It was so easy that I can’t wait to get some more done.

“Completely careless doctors. I strongly advise everyone to not get a procedure done in this office. Excruciating pain was felt during the procedure and nothing was done to control the pain. Discharged within 10 minutes of finishing the procedure. Never told the pain would be that bad, actually the opposite. Told that it was a non-invasive, much easier procedure than a tummy tuck. To top it off, was never told that massaging was needed after the procedure to prevent lumping. The entire process was a nightmare. They should be shutdown.”

“My first post op appointment wasn’t the best overall body feeling because I was in pain but when I met with the nurse CATHERINE YARWOOD, R.N, she made me feel heard and assured me that the pain would stop after a while. It was a really good experience working with her, even made a request to see her for my 6 months post ops and she was there.
Another person I had a great experience with is Lavita Francis, she tried to get an appointment that works with my schedule not just leaving me to figure out things myself. I love to have her always book any future appointments if she is still with the company:

“There are absolutely no words really on the lack of care this place has. I recently did lipo. The procedure was fine however I developed a bad rash after wearing the garment for a week. I didn’t notice really until the day after I received the stage 2 garment. I called to the office to report the rash asking if there was possibly another garment I could wear because the ones provided didn’t agree with my skin. I was told someone would call me back. Nobody ever called after 2 days I called back and got a nurse. She asked for pics and referred to my concern as a “complaint”. Uhm I have a serious rash, that’s not a complaint but a serious concern. She told me to send pics, I did. I got a text back, not a phone call, saying put on a T-shirt under my garment and she’d let a dr review it. That’s was 2 days ago now, still didn’t hear back. I have an appointment scheduled with my dr but won’t put the garment on for fear it will get worse, so that was money wasted. Someone said in another comment they get your money then don’t care anything about you after that. That I was a true statement. I am sad because all I wanted to know was there another garment I could use instead and got completely blown off. I wouldn’t recommend the King of Prussia Sono Bella to ANYONE! They do not care it’s all about the money not the after care. I will put in the work to make myself better because I certainly won’t be returning for any follow ups at that place, I’ll take the loss to not be mistreated again as my health is my priority as it’s certainly it’s not theirs.”

“My journey actually began back in 2019 with my first consultation in the Cherry Hill Sono Bello office. I had scheduled my consultation and procedure appointments and due to an unexpected family emergency, I had to cancel everything and knew I wasn’t going to be able to take on my process. I mention this because I felt it was important to share how professional and understanding Sono Bello's establishment was when I was given an option to reschedule or to be reimbursed my deposit. That alone spoke volumes to me in giving them a 5-STAR rating.
They are not about taking advantage of a potential client, but instead being understanding and compassionate. For this, I have to thank you all because 3 years later, I once again came back ( 3 years older) and so so nervous to go through this procedure which should have taken place 3 years earlier.
Well…I did it and it would be remised of me not to share my fantastic journey with all who may have reservations about moving on in your life to a newer and better self!
Staring in Cheery Hill with my consolation with Miss Maya, who was very informative, knowledgeable, and understanding worked with me and made it easy to afford the options provided, ( this was very important!! ) I was also provided with information/credentials of Elie Goldenberg, MD who was performing the procedure, (important as well) putting me more at ease on my decision.
In the King of Prussia, where all took place, I was just as impressed with all as I was in the Cherry Hill office. The cleanliness and ambiance were amazing and welcoming and all the staff involved from the front desk to all medical staff, truly are amazing!
My procedure took place on July 11th, 2022 and my recovery progress is coming along faster than I personally was expecting. I say this, not knowing what to expect outside of what I read in all the resources provided to me and how my body would react. However, I must say this…I personally read all literature provided and purchased all mentioned and followed instructions to the “T”. I’ve reviewed the recovery videos pre-procedure and performed the process consistently pre-op, and I feel fabulous. I’m still in recovery mode and I have had my first Venus message by Susan who educated me through the whole treatment on what my body will be experiencing she was spot on and I greatly appreciate the open communication provided!
As I continue through my recovery journey, I just want to say thank you to Dr. Goldenberg, all the nurses who were there for me and going forward, ( Adrienne, Melissa, Alaina, Allyson, and Erika), and to Judy and her amazing smiling team at the front desk! Everyone, keep doing what you all do best…helping people feel better about themselves in an unjudgemental professional welcoming manner!”

“I went in about 5 years ago and was so embarrassed by my situation I never talk to anyone about it till now. I recently went to another plastic surgeon to have the work Sona Bello did fixed and it will cost $27,000.
I went in to get a face lift and the consultant was amazing. She made me feel like I could have a refreshed look without looking over done. I went in to have the procedure. I was awake the whole time and it turned into a nightmare! When I was done I looked like I was hit by a Mac truck. I was told this was to be expected.
I ended up with massive scars, pixie ears (my earlobes are gone) and a cobra neck (my neck is split and looks like a cobra) I try to cover it up but it is obvious and people can see the horrible plastic surgery that was done.”

“I recently had the EX procedure by Dr Brown stein. I am very pleased with the procedure. Dr Brownstein is very professional and has bedside manners! He treats you like a patient, not a number. I saw immediate results with the removal of my lower belly flab and the flatness of my belly.
The first month of recovery was extremely difficult, but after you get thru the first month, it's amazing.
The scar tissue therapy is helping the scar tissue recovery.
I will have my three month follow up in 2 weeks and my stomach scar tissue recovery is 60% better. My stomach is softer and I can final sleep on my belly again.
The scar is a line and healing beautifully!! The bruising is gone.
I look forward to the continued healing and progress by my 6 month follow up.
The front desk gals: Tia,, Janelle, Jessica and Michelle are fabulous! Always helpful and smiling! My nurses Adrienne and Melissa are knowledgeable, patient and just a pleasure. They care about my well-being and recovery! Sue is absolutely amazing with my scar tissue therapy. She is very personable, professional and focused on my results.

“First, I have to say the receptionist at the front desk were extremely pleasant! My consultation was with Jessica and she was the best. She answered all my questions while being patient because I had a lot. I then met with Dr. Brownstein who was great. He made me laugh which bought down my anxiety. He explained the entire procedure and gave me realistic expectations. I was super nervous and they all made me feel comfortable. I also met Tina who was the office manager. Omg, when I say she was sweet, that’s an understatement. The entire staff was welcoming & the office was clean. Forgive me, I forget my nurses name but she also very nice. We had a nice little chit chat before my surgery. Yesterday was my surgery day 2/12, and I was so nervous about the pain. To my surprise, I didn’t feel anything after the meds they gave me. Now it’s the next day, I’m in a little pain from soreness but nothing unbearable. I am so appreciative of Sono Bello and their staff at the Wayne office. I would definitely recommend them!! I can’t wait to see my signal results. 💜😊”

“I did my liposuction in Oct 2018. The experience was good but my end result very disappointed. I have several lumps on my stomach that I reached out to sono and was never called back. It was a hassle to get it resolved, I gave up on them. I would never recommend them. I gave them a 2 because the assistant on that day was very friendly.”

“I have had a great experience so far with Sonobello in KOP. I started looking in October but the only office open during covid was in nyc. With my work schedule and limitations with covid, I was thinking that I would not be able to get my procedure done. The team there let me know as soon as the office opened in December and worked with me on my budget. Each time I go in it has been clean and I was the only patient, so I feel very safe going in during covid times. Each person I speak with is pleasant and informative- I had lots of questions, and they all answered them to their best ability or referred me to a new person to get the correct answer. Dr Brownstein was very open and honest about my procedure and recommendations to get the best results. We adjusted the locations to be done so I am very happy with the results. We also discussed health concerns with high blood pressure to ensure my safety. The day of my procedure and my follow ups have all gone smoothly and I can’t wait to see the final results. “Overall it was a positive experience except for two things:
1. There was a problem with your phone systems. Frequently when I'd call, the line would go dead, accompanied with an unending stream of white noise. I kept bringing it to the attention of the receptionist.
2. I arrived 15 minutes early for my first follow-up appointment, and then waited a 45 minutes before the nurse arrived to see me. For such a simple and brief interaction with a nurse (photos, new gown, answer a few questions), I'm disappointed to have waited so long; I didn't even see the doctor. The nurse explained that an important member of management was holding a meeting. I have a hard time with your decision to make me wait 45 minutes to an hour rather than having the nurse miss 5 minutes of the meeting to get me in and out. The receptionist gave me a free treatment of some kind, which made it easier to bare. But just waiting naked in my gown, alone in a small, cold room for 20 minutes shouldn't have even happened.”

“Came for my procedure today, and they told me that it was cancelled. I came on time as scheduled and they changed the time on me. They told me the appointment was at 10:30am and my original appointment was for 1:00pm. The nurse was not apologetic about the miscommunication. Hopefully, I’ll get a refund, perhaps, it’s good it didn’t happen. I’ll seek out other services and work with people that want my business and care a little. This was truly a waste of time and effort because we live far away from the center. The consultant, Jenny was great, the surgery center was not well-run.”

“Hello, thank you for asking about my experience with sono bello overland park office. I would like to first commend Jessica. She was the first person that I met with. She was so kind, knowledgeable and found ways to explain to me and my mother (sometimes difficult but my support system) all of our concerns. The front desk staff was kind and relaxed which also was awesome. The surgery was scheduled on a Saturday which was awesome for me since I come from 3 hours away. Pre o.o day went smooth, the nurse that helped is no longer with you but she was kind and informative also. The day of surgery was so easy for both myself and my mom. The fact that I was not put under and was awake was one thing that I thought was going to be the scariest however Dr O. Was phenomenal in easing those fears. She just seemed to know that I use humor to deflect my nervousness and she made me laugh and eased that in the most natural way. The Dr. Called while we were still on way home to check on us, answered questions we had then and reassured us to call any time we had questions. My pain was minimal considering I had been warned by friends that have had skin removal or tummy tucks that pain is horrific, I was so surprised. I will say that the majority was I was just tired and that was about it. I now have had 2 follow ups with Jerry, she is great the first one she was just unsure of a spot on my ex site so she had a doctor come and check it out. The second visit went smooth and Jerry reassured me that I am not fully healed but that it is looking great. I do look forward to the final results but that comes with time. The actual sono bello staff at Overland Park is the most welcoming and kind staff I have ever met. Thank you so much for my life changing experience.”

“After a rough start with a snow storm and power outage, this team at Sono Bello took amazing care of me rescheduling my Saturday surgery ASAP and a making special time for me. Taisha spent a lot of time by phone keeping me posted and listening to my sad voice on the other end of the phone when we had to reschedule for circumstances beyond their control! Dr. Brownstein And his team came in on the following Monday for me, a day they usually do not perform surgery. Dr Brownstein and Adrienna quickly put to rest my fears about the procedure and the medication I needed to take to relax. It worked like a charm and everything was explained to me during the procedure. I felt so relaxed and safe. Adrienna was so nice and very comforting assisting me pre and post op. That night, Dr. Brownstein called me to check up on me and the next day Tiasha called to check on me. We had another snowstorm on Wednesday and I called in with a question when the office was closed due to the weather, and she quickly returned my call, checked with a nurse and called me right back. I had a question about the compression bodysuit. I look forward to my return visit next week. I would recommend Sono Bello KOP to anyone looking for a body or face contouring procedure.”

“The consultation was excellent, actually had two other appointments elsewhere and decided right at the consultation that I was going to get it done ASAP. I cancelled my other appointments with other places. I was even considering bypass surgery. Everyone was nice and I was treated very well. I do want to mention that the pain and the amount of pain was down played. Maybe it's so I wouldn't be afraid or back down or just that everyone is different. But I was not ready to go back to work in the 4 days like promised. But I own my own business and I am the only worker, so I had to go to work few days after procedure. I couldn't bend, laugh barely walk lol I was a mess. I was in pain this whole time. It's just letting up after 6 weeks. So please let people know that they may need like a week if a lot of fat is removed. Also, I received conflicting info on when I could return to the gym. I may have went back to soon n I felt like I was gonna die. But all in all, I already see results so hopeful after the 6 months my stomach is flatter and my back stays roll free lol.”

“This procedure has totally disgusted me. If this review allowed me to give a total of NO stars I absolutely with have chose that option. My mother got this procedure done a couple of months ago: she wanted her hips to be a little narrower and she wanted some fat removed from her stomach..... and her turn out is absolutely horrendous. Her body is left lumpy with more fat on one side than the other. Yes I’m speaking for my mother because I see how upset she is with the outcome and I really want whoever chooses to get this procedure to really do the research before because we did not!!! The healing process is not what it was expected to be. It was long and painful. The only way my mother feels comfortable in her body is when she wears the body suit that “holds everything in place”. The results may be different for some, however If you chose to do something like this the results should be a guarantee and not based off what you hope the turn out will be. This is coming from a 17 year old senior high school student. Do your research ladies and gentlemen. Spend money smart.!!!!! Reading is fundamental!”

I was informed that my procedure would be an easy one because I did not have a lot of fat, just fat that was exercise resistant and that Tri Sculp would be perfect for me. I opted for having both the upper and lower abdominal areas. I was disappointed to find out that the hip areas were not included in the price, but I opted to have them done as well anyway. I’m glad I did.
Two weeks later I was headed for my appointment. I had so many emotions running through me. I was afraid of being in pain. I was anxious, nervous, and I was afraid I may be disappointed with the results.
From the time I got there to the time I left, the doctor, nurses, and staff made me feel very comfortable. The entire procedure was explained to me as we went. The doctor drew on my skin the areas where he would be removing the fat and explained that this would be done through six small incisions. The area was numbed with a local anesthetic and once numb I never felt any pain, only pressure. The entire procedure took approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours.
Post operatively, it was a breeze. The nurse explained everything I needed to do at home to my wife and me and we were on our way home half an hour later. At home I relaxed in bed and I only needed my pain medication the first day. After that, I was able to switch to Tylenol only using my pain medication to sleep at night. There was some initial bruising, but I was told that this was to be expected. My procedure was done on a Friday morning and I was back at work on Monday.
I cannot emphasize enough how great the doctor, nurses, and the entire staff were! They were attentive, patient and explained everything in detail easing any fears that I had. I returned after a week for my garment change and I am so pleased with my results so far. I’m very excited to see my final results. I highly recommend Sonnobella!”

They made me feel very comfortable and the doctor was very honest with me about my expectations. I’m pretty petite but I have this problem area. I tried diet and exercise but that alone did not help. As soon as I walked into the door they took me back and we started. I was pretty sore for the first few days after but nothing too bad. On day 10 I was completely free of any discomfort at all! I was able to get up and move around the same day, just a little slower than usual. I would have given a 5 star rating but i did have a little confusion with the sales rep about pricing. I look and feel amazing so far and I’m hoping to see even better results in the time to come. If you’re already pretty small and just need a little help with a problem area I’d say go for it!”

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I had laserlipo done and I could not be more sorry. I expressed my concerns about "droopy skin" after the procedure. I was assured that the "laser" would keep that from happening. Not even close. My skin is now almost like dough and leaves imprints from all of my clothes. Heartbroken. I truly hope my review saves someone else from wasting their money on empty promises.
Update: I heard from the Practice Manager almost immediately after posting review. Went back to office, was offered an additional procedure to address my concerns. Was told that procedure was at a significant discount, but was still a few thousand MORE dollars. On the fence as to whether or not I will pursue. I do intend to seek a 2nd opinion.”

“I was set up with an initial consultation with Dr. Gary Brownstein and nurse Bobbie Martino at the King of Prussia office. I was so nervous you'd think I was going in for a job interview. Nurse Bobbie gave me a pair of little surgical underwear and bra to change into and a robe - now I'm more nervous and feeling very vulnerable. Throughout the entire experience the staff took every opportunity to ensure my comfort in an uncomfortable situation.
As I'm standing there in my surgical bra and underwear, everything hanging out, Dr. Brownstein was checking everything out & I'm doing everything not to catch a reflection of myself in the mirror behind him. He then asked what my expectations/hopes we're for the procedure & out of no where I said "I just want to be skinny" and started sobbing. In that moment every negative thought I've ever had about my body image or others' comments came flooding in. I didn't mean to say it nor did I expect to start sobbing.
Dr. Brownstein & Nurse Bobbi immediately stopped what they were doing sat me down and talked with me about my body image, what was motivating me to seek a surgical option, alternatives and realistic expectations. They spent the next hour+ showing genuine compassion & care about my experience, what was happening for me emotionally in that moment and ensuring I was making the right decision, for the right reasons for me. They created a safe space where it was okay to be vulnerable & honestly express how I was feeling and answer every question I could think of and some I didn't think of. Nurse Bobbi hugged me and I could feel she truly understood what I was experiencing. Dr. Brownstein was honest in providing me with realistic expectations based on my body structure & what I was looking to acconplish. They never rushed me and in all spent over 2 hours with me.
Throughout the next week before surgery they were always available for calls & emails answering any questions I've had.
My surgery was last Friday 7/7/17. Surgery went well & I was well prepared for what to expect before, during and after thanks to Nurse Bobbi & Dr. Brownstein, they've even both called me to check in on my recovery which is amazing - I've worked in the health care field for over a decade and have rarely seen the empathy, care and personal attention I have recieved from my team at Sono Bello, King of Prussia.
I wanted to share my experience not only because of the phenomenal care I recieved but to talk about the real experience of the process. Now I'm "one can of those people that got lipo" - a person who was self conscious and uncomfortable with my body, having no one to talk to about it, but I had the great fortune of finding professionals who truly care to walk with me on my journey to now being the best version of myself feeling like my outside matches my inside, comfortable and happy with my body.”

I just had my upper & lower abdomen done along with my waist line. I am one week post surgery and I can see a difference from before until now. I still have a longs ways to go because I am still very swollen and sore but I know with in a few more weeks I will see more change. On the day of my surgery the doctor walked me through everything that was going to be done which calmed my nerves a lot. During surgery he made sure I was comfortable and pain free. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I got my surgery on 11/23/15, I have been extremely pleased with the outcome. My consultant was honest with me and explained the process thoroughly including pricing, recovery time, the surgery itself, etc. it is always helpful to talk to people who have been through the surgery and my consultant gave me a first hand account of what it did for her. I decided to have my lower and upper abdomen operated on so that I could reduce the fat and work on toning and tightening with Venus treatments. I am one week post surgery and I can see a difference already! Dr. Gary Brownstein, and his staff, especially Christina Rios have been fantastic and have put any fear I had to ease by explaining details of what I will experience during the procedure and after. I was awake and talking during the procedure and really felt no discomfort. The day after I was sore but was up walking around outside. Since then each day has literally gotten easier and I feel more confident and this is definitely going to jump start my continued healthier lifestyle. Not only was she helpful during my procedure, when I returned for my follow up visit, Adrienne was busy just coming out of surgery. However Adrienne made the time to check on me giving some truly helpful recovery instructions that turned out to be extremely helpful. It made me feel great. “I would just like to share my experience with Sonobello from the staff to my results. This procedure is something that I've wanted to have done for a very long time. Everyone always thought I was crazy to want to do this and not just focus on diet and exercise but the truth is after having a baby my body just will not return to what it looked like before (still wasn't happy before but...). There were certain problem areas that I could not get rid of no matter what. VERY DISCOURAGING! I had a pocket of fat (saddlebags) on each side of my outer thigh, and a pouch on my lower abdomen. It just wouldn't go away, EVER. So I decided to move forward with this procedure to get a kick start to a healthy lifestyle. I must say best decision I have ever made. Immediately after the procedure I noticed a major difference, and by immediate I mean the next day! At my one week post op I was shown my before and after pics and I literally said that's not me. I didn't believe it. I then realized it was in fact me (same belly button) and I was just so overjoyed. I am now two weeks post op and my coworker says to me she cant believe its me from the back bc my waist is so small! I am still swollen from the procedure but already so extremely happy. Oh and those saddlebags.... GONE. FINALLY!! So happy :)) As far as the surgery itself.. piece of cake. I thought for sure since the procedure was done while I am awake I'd want to jump off the table bc I'm a huge baby.. nope, I was completely comfortable and my nurses Adrienne and Christina talked me through the nerves and made me feel beyond comfortable and like they were in this with me. The sonobello in King of Prussia is beyond amazing. Bobbi who did this intake was so sweet and fabulous, it felt like I was sitting there talking to one of my girlfriends over a cup of coffee. After deciding to have the operation I had my pre-op with the RN, Christina and the awesome Dr. Talie. Christa is such a sweetheart and Dr. Talie is hilarious. In other places the staff was almost as plastic as Mean Girls and just as cold- but not here. The entire staff is just overall amazing. Rebecca and I bonded over undergrad stories and mutual acquaintances while i was being numbed up and Dr. Talie and I were singing together during the operation. Now if that doesn't scream phenomenal than I don't know what does. “I had my second procedure with Sonobello again with Dr. Browenstein and Adrienne Alexander was my nurse this time. I must say the experience was just as pleasant as the first time. Dr. Browenstein is a very caring doctor and Adrienne is so sweet and caring as well. They both made me comfortable and the procedure went extremely well.
