“Awful experience, was really excited they offer Saturday appointments. That’s where it ended. They know how to take appointments, they just don’t know how to honor them. They booked 2 people for 1 consultant all day long and were backed up but had the audacity to request we all arrive 15 min early. The paperwork is ridiculously intrusive. For example, they ask for your social security number and employer just for a consultation. I can’t believe this is how they treat prospective customers for a service that in many cases is $10k plus. Prospective customers, there are non-chains out there who’s consultations are deeply personal and not like this factory.”

“My experience with sonobello from the consultation to the day of my surgery which was 3/26/2024 was amazing. I had Dr. Jones and I believe the nurse name was Darline. I hope that’s right if I am wrong I apologize. I also had another nurse Nia again if i am wrong please charge it to my head and not my heart. I also had another nurse that took me to use the bathroom which she was really nice as well, and the one that gave me my IV was also very nice. The team was amazing Dr. Jones is a great Dr. and so was her nurses. I had some many worries about pain and what the outcome would look like. But first let me tell you this, it’s not as bad as some people have said it is in some comments I have read. The numbing part was rough but not unbearable, after the numbing part she let me sit to allow the numbing medication to get into my system. When I tell you it did, I was numb I didn’t feel anything. When she started to lipo, now it was parts that was tickling, and I was laughing. My meds didn’t really start working until the surgery was almost over. I ended up falling asleep while waiting for my husband to get me. Dr. jones was amazing she took her time and she told me this may hurt a little and apologized with the numbing solution. Which was a little pinch. The nurses asked if I was okay, and I said yes, they gave me snacks and water after, because I am a diabetic so they didn’t want my sugar to drop, I am super exited to see my results it’s only been a day, and of course I am super swollen, and can’t see anything as of yet. But I am hopeful that they will be great. I got my upper and lower abdomen my waist and back bra roll done. My whole experience was great from time to finish, I have no complaints at all. Now just patiently waiting to see my results!!!!!!! Thank you so much sonobello for everything. And one more thing if asked would I do it all over again, or if I needed something else done, yes sonobello would be my number place to go it!!!! And of course. I would chose Dr.Jones!!! She is the bomb! I forgot to say I was awake the whole time. I was relaxed because of the meds. So take your worries away, and don’t second guess it go and do something for yourself!!! We all deserve it!!!!! The Raleigh office of Sonobello you guys rock!!!! Please keep up the good work!!!”

“I just had my 6 month post op visit and this will be my last visit with Sono Bello. This journey has had its ups and downs and it has not been easy but I do not regret it.

I’ve received special treatment from the Sono Bello crew ever since my consultation with Ashley to the front desk ladies whom are so very kind and patient…, all the way to Venus treatment staff Amazing Amanda and Joyous Joelle. Whom both ladies do exceptional work when it comes to Venus treatment. I will miss them!!!

My procedure that was done was an upper and lower abdominoplasty with ABX, and also Liposuction.., but If it hadn’t been for me getting Lymphatic drainage ( by Valor Massage) a week after surgery I don’t know if I would had made it through…, but my stomach looks amazing with minimal scaring.., and I love my results.

Now I’m thinking of having a tattoo placed over my scar just to heighten my look. Now after having the surgery it has boost my confidence and made me look and feel incredible. I probably don’t need another confidence booster…, but I think getting the tattoo will be a bonus!!

But like I said before…,No regrets, I feel good and I look great…, I actually look slimmer and I have lost weight so now I look even better!!!

“Beware of nerve damages! I had a TriSculpt pkg done 4 years ago that included several areas which required two separate appointments. The first one was wonderful, but the second one was not. While waiting I could hear the patient in the next room moaning to the point I had to ask to be moved. When it was my turn, I woke up midway due to pain and felt it the remaining of the time. I followed all instructions for post-op, and everything looked great, but the pain on my thigh didn’t go away. At my 1 yr ckin, I reported the same pain and was told nerve damages can take up to two years to recover. Well, it has been 4 years, and it only got worse regardless of pain meds taken. A different surgeon looked at my tummy a few months ago and informed me that it was uneven, i.e. lumpy and lopsided. It appeared that the doctor who did my procedure was no longer with the practice when I came back in 2022 when tempted to have more done. I decided not to proceed after consultation because I had no way to confirm doctors’ qualifications on these procedures. I trusted and was disappointed to find out the ‘great’ one was no longer ‘great’ afterward!!! Still struggling with excruciating nerve pains! I hope that no one else would experience the same issues as mine because the procedure shows great results, but it is entirely depends on the hands of the physicians/surgeons. My review is to bring awareness of the nerve-damage risks of liposuction only. The office environment and staff were always wonderful!”

“Everything was fantastic. I do have two suggestions that I'd like to offer.
The first being a topical numbing agent such as what is used for IV insertions. Dr Scott had ordered gabapentin to help, but the numbing process was very painful for me. I had needed to change surgeons and Dr Jones actually did my procedure. The nurse remarked that she does not use the gabapentin preoperative. There were several moments that she voiced concern of not being able to proceed with the procedure if I was unable to tolerate the numbing process. The nurse helped me with breathing my way through and this helped so much.
My second recommendation is to provide a second compression garment for patients that have skin removed since we don't shower for a few days post-op. My garment is damp with drainage on my first night. I would really prefer not to feel damp or to have this on my furniture. I'm using puppy pads over my pad dressings and between myself and my chair.”

The appt was never for 11:15. I called Sonobello to confirm the 9:45 appt not 11:15. I was told I didn't have an appt for 9:15. Clearly I did hence the email and text message confirmations I received.

How can I be told I don't have a 9:45 appt when I received confirmations for that appointment?

Obviously the people working for this company are incompetent.

If their people have trouble with simply making an appointment which doesn't take a rocket scientist to do, clearly the staff aren't capable of performing any procedures.

It scares me to think what may have happened to me if I elected for any of the procedures they offer.

“I wrote this review before but the staff contacted me and pretty much begged me to remove it. Sending me gift cards, promising me they will fix it. Promising all things, but delivering nothing. Well here I sit almost a year later with no remedy. The surgeon botched my thighs. They have huge sunken areas that can only be fixed by fat grafting, which they are not trained to do. My back was not completely done and my side wasn't touched. I paid for both. I have requested a refund but Abby has only offered a small amount. The amount won't even cover what I paid for my legs to begin with, much less my back and sides. I have gone around and around with her about the unprofessionalism that the Raleigh office manager offers. I tried contact the office manager so many times with no response. Abby is very nice but nice doesn't fix my legs. I went back so they could complete the area they didn't do to begin with and they wouldn't do it. They said I was 2lbs from my original surgery date. I was measured by my PCP and I am actually smaller since I was working out. Muscle weighs more than fat so I'm confused. I was told to work out and now you are telling me not to work out because it makes me weigh more??? They can spin it however they want but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My legs look horrible and incision on my stomach looks like a 5 year old cut it. This was confirmed by one of their other doctors that agreed with me. Sad when your own doctor agrees with the patient but your office is trying to get out of fixing your mistake. I will be more than happy to share pictures with anyone that wants to reach out privately. Before letting them work on you please reach out to me to see them. Please. I have begged to settle this and let me get my legs and sides/back fixed but they refuse only offering me less than one leg amount back. DON'T GET ANY WORK TO YOUR BODY FROM HERE!!!!!”

“First of all, this is my own experience, not anyone else's. I am on my way to being 2 weeks post op, still do not really see a difference. Initially I thought I did but I seem to still look the same. Going back to the day of the procedure they give you a little cup of pills for pain and anxiety that makes you loopy. Its local anesthesia so they just use lidocaine to numb you and being 100% honest I felt so much pain during the procedure. Their website says that you don't feel pain but I absolutely felt pain and you cant move because the dr. tells you not to. It felt like torture...I would never do that again. 10000% would prefer having general anesthesia. Also, I dont think its best that you dont have any drains because you have so much fluid in you still. They also made it seem like its just so easy and you do the procedure and then you're back to normal....no.....it is surgery and there is nothing easy or simple about that. Not to mention they barely give you enough meds for pain after you leave. My recommendation: go to a normal surgeon where you will get everything that you need and not be tortured and you'll probably spend a lot less money. Oh and if you do end up coming here the Venus treatments are booked months out so book yours right away.”

Dr . Smith made this a very comfortable experience. He is so knowledgeable , calm and strait to the point . His assistant nurse didn’t miss a vein when putting my IV in . She is very good.

During the procedure, I was half out of my wits from sedation, and it got a little uncomfortable pain wise. It was not unbearable, only in sensitive spots. The Dr. put classic rock to level out the vibe. Dr. Smith even sang along with me and I shared some music stories with him. This helped me focus on something else rather than the procedure . I mean how cool is that !!!!
Eventually, I fell asleep , and before I knew it - the procedure was done .

I can’t wait to see my results.
I will be back for some more work .
I won’t consider any other place , this was by far the coolest medical experience I ever had . They go great lengths to make sure you are comfortable .

The nurses I had day of surgery were amazing but the follow up nurse I had that was traveling was horrible. She never ordered my garment. Didn't know how to measure me. I showed her my leg which looked very weird and she just brushed it off. I had stitches that came out and made my skin turn inside out on my stomach and she just said it would heal. It did but now it is a horrible scar. The biggest issue I have is that I paid for my upper back and it wasn't done. I have requested a refund but have not received one as of yet. I requested them to redo the surgery but for some reason consults with a surgeon for a redo is pushed back months at a time but I can get a consult for a new patient tomorrow. Weird how that works. Once they get your money they don't care. Attorney will have to handle from this point forward. Do not go there.”

Procedure was done and advance notice of a high tolerance to pain meds was provided yet the Dr's didn't listen and it turned out to be excruciating pain, worse than anything ever felt. Pain meds were not called in in advance and then it took several hours the day of and after the procedure to get the office to actually get them called in, despite then saying to take them with in thr hour. So we couldn't even do that and pain meds wore off.”

“If I could give them 0 stars I would. I had the worst experience with them in 2020.(upper and lower stomach) They left my stomach looking like Frankenstein. They were great until about the 6th month post op when I started to noticed how irregular my stomach was looking especially around my bellybutton. After my year post op I reluctantly decided that I would do a revision even though I was skeptical because they said the same doctor had to do it. I filled all the paper work out and they said someone would contact me to schedule because it needed to be reviewed by someone at a more corporate level. So I have since turned that down, because I wasn’t feeling good about that! “I absolutely loved everything about my experience. I work in the hospital so it is hard to get time away with my busy schedule. However, my doctor who was Dr. K. Jones and staff worked with me to make sure I was able to get my procedure done. I was scared and nervous but they were patient with me through it all. I got the Lipo 360 procedure done. Dr. Jones was too tier and very personable. She felt my struggle of being a petite girl with a pooch just hanging arounf for years no matter what workout or diet I did, I just could not get rid of my lower pooch. Dr. Jones bed side manners were amazing I honestly remember walking in the OR room and saying I’m scared and woke up to everything completed, soooo I guess you can say I was comfortable through it all. I’m shy of two weeks after procedure and feel great especially after texting with Dr. Jones and getting a Lymphatic massage. The lymphatic massage made me feel normal. To describe the discomfort.. it felt like I did an intense ab work out and was just sore. I have recommended Dr. Jones to my friends and family. I cant wait to see me at 3 months! Thank you guys.. and most definitely thank you Dr. Jones.

“Front desk staff, nurses, assistants, managers, and finance are ALWAYS top notch anytime I called or visited. Answered all questions and addressed any concerns. This is the ONLY reason for the 1 star. On the other hand, Dr. Kimberly Jones is HORRIBLE!!!!!! The ABSOLUTE WORST bedside manner! Doesn't care if you're in pain, just keep working with a dose of chastising. Allows random men to walk in during surgery and carry on a casual conversation as if you are the water cooler or some other inanimate object. No apology whatsoever for invasion of your privacy. No follow up call after surgery until days later AFTER I called to tell them I'm alive! RUN Forest, RUN! If you decide allow Dr. Jones to operate and you have a great experience with her, I'm positive its due to the fact that she had been humbled. I decided to speak up for myself and future patients to the local manager and the corporate office about her patient treatment. I only wish I was privy to information from others BEFORE my surgery that Dr. Jones' bedside manner is QUESTIONABLE. It doesn't matter if her results are good, if she treats you like road kill.”

This company has taken $2,500 of my hard earned money because I decided that I didn’t want to go through with Laser Liposuction. The contract said 14 days of cancellation I canceled within 48 hours. I was giving the run around for weeks. They were so friendly and personable until I cancel the contract after that I couldn’t get in contact with anyone. I had to go down to the company and still I was given the run around. Also there is no corporate office…. This is who they needed to get in contact with for me to see about getting a refund. SCAM,FRAUD,and RIPOFF!!!!! I guess this is how the rich stay rich,,by ripping everyday hard working people off.”

My clothes now fit me terribly. They are all tight around the waist. And they were not good at returning my messages when I called. I was told someone would call me back, no one did. Save your money. I wish I had never had the surgery. Don’t believe the commercials. The people who get a new body must spend $20,000.”

“Dr. Jones and her nurses had EXCELLENT bedside manner and I am so happy with my results after one week. I still have some swelling and I am still happy bc I know this is a process. I tried to add my neck and Dr. Jones told me, “ you could give me the extra money if you want to but you don’t need that.” She was right and she recommended a derma roller for under my chin. I love her honesty. She was a blessing to me and my back😁. I had my back done previously but didn’t realize I had to do all three section to achieve the results I wanted. “I had my surgery on January 18th 2022. From the consultation to the morning of surgery. My experience was simply amazing. I love these people. They treated me very well. Made the entire process seamless for me. My consultant was Kellie in which she explained the process to me and assisted me with everything I needed to get a sealed understanding of what I was going to experience. There was my Doctor, Dr. Jones, who was excited to demonstrate to me precisely what she was planning to do and the outcome I should expect. The nurses Niya, Darline, Garbrielle, Evelyn, Zakia, Maritza, Cristal and Venus, treat you like you're the most important thing in the world. We have the CM-Amanda, the PM-Tracilea and the APM-Elizabeth. These women the day before surgery, called me up to assure I had everything I needed and everything they needed from me to keep the process moving forward. The character and customer support from these people are nothing more than Family to me. I have met and interacted with them all. The front desk staff Billie and Ladarius are beyond professional. Kaitlyn, I believe lives there!! :) She is there all the time with this big, huge smile.

“I was very nervous when I arrived for my consultation. I did have to wait for a short time before being called back. However, I was informed prior to arrival that I may have a wait and I was given to option to reschedule. I chose to keep the appointment. After going back for my consultation, my husband and I were assigned to a room. I answered some basic questions with Candace. The doctor was running late due to a previous procedure running long. Candace informed us that she would be doing my consultation. Candace was AMAZING!!! She answered every question in detail and provided before and after pictures of past clients. Simply AMAZING! The doctor did come in and very quickly eased my nerves. She was very honest about my expectations. I believe her name was Dr. Joy, but I am not positive. She actually came in with a notebook and took handwritten notes! Yes, handwritten notes!! Loved it! After I spoke with the doctor, I had the opportunity to talk with Candace. Also, AMAZING!!! “Ladies I beg you please do not I repeat do not get fooled by any of this. I had mine done last year and I can tell you there is no change whatsoever Dr. Jones only removed 2 L which is nothing and then proceeded to take my money out of my account while I was under medication so it was not to my knowledge and did the EXT for no reason whatsoever and now my body is completely destroyed. I beg you please please do not give into these people they will take your money and they will destroy your body and you will be left looking the exact same. Just remember ladies there is Photoshop so I’m sure these pictures aren’t exactly true. I’m still wearing the same clothes and I still look the exact same with the exception of a huge scar that is hideous I hate I ever went there.”

“My consultation visit with Victoria Z was great in the beginning. I told her i wanted multiple things done but due to pricing we scale so things down. I waited a week before I reached out to her to let her know that i wanted to go ahead and get my upper abd, lower abd and my waist done. I also had the skin removal removed because I felt like I might not need it. I called to speak to her about my procedure he didn’t answer, i end up sending her emails which she replied days after, i had to continuously send her emails for her to respond. I also let her know if she’s busy she can just pass me off to someone else. I was getting frustrated with the communication between Victoria and i so i called the office and asked for another consultant they told me no i would have to just deal with Victoria.So when I did my consultation with Victoria she gave me one quote, then when i emailed her telling her i wanted to go ahead with the procedure she gave me a different quote. I found the first quote she gave me and sent it to her and she said oh the quote is based on your BMI so i let her know that my BMI hasn’t changed since my last visit. I also sent her my best friend quote because we have the same BMI and she also got that quote. I was upset because these are the quotes you gave me and i felt like she should have honored that because i have the documentation to prove that. My weight before my surgery was 164lbs so my price for my surgery needs to be adjusted based on my BMI.These procedures aren’t cheap especially when you’re paying out of pocket. Her communication could have been a lot better. She also had another consultant reach out to me, i would have much rather dealt with her. I felt ignored. Fast forward to my pre-op with Dr Jones that went well she was very nice and informative, the nurse that was working with her was also very helpful. The nurse explained everything very throughly. Dr Jones let me know that she thinks i need the skin removal because i will have some extra skin. I asked her the pricing and she told me to reach out to Victoria and they tried to have her talk to me while i was there but again she was busy. I followed up with an email on December 17th in which she still hasn’t gotten back to me. My surgery’s was also moved up to the 6th because Dr Jones was unavailable on the 7th. i was told to arrive at 7:45 on the 6th. When i arrived it was no one to greet me at the front desk. They again asked me about the skin removal before my surgery which was on January the 6th i let the nurse know that Victoria still didn’t reach out to me so just go ahead with what i had already paid for. The procedure when well Dr Jones and her nurse was awesome they took good care of me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone very poor communication skills. If i have any future work done I’ll try another location.”

“I am editing my review. First of all, they have you fill out the review form online before you even have the procedure. That should’ve been enough for me to question the whole thing. After I had the procedure, I was out of work for a week. I ended up with phlebitis in my arm for weeks from where they stuck me. Sometimes I didn’t get the products that I was supposed to get at a certain visit, it would be the next visit when the nurse would ask if I was using it, & I’d have a blank look on my face because I had no idea what she was talking about. I looked great in the beginning. I ate right, exercised, drank water. During this time I was also put on a medication that made me gain weight. As soon as I found out that was the problem, I stopped taking it immediately. When I went back for my 6 month revision because I want the revision done, I explained this to the dr. She looked at my stomach & told me that she didn’t think there was enough fat to get out anymore. Although I have seen before & after pictures that Sono Bello has posted of women whose stomachs look just like mine does now & were ok’d for their FIRST procedure. I was told that day that an office manger would call me in 24 to 48 hours. I’ve given them weeks, calling at different times & the office manager always seems to go into a meeting as soon as I call. I emailed her today & she still refuses to respond. Although in their own paperwork it says the “chief medical officer” has the final say. Not sure how an office manager can make that decision on whether you get the revision or not. But that’s not the worst part. I have a family member that signed up as well. We were told that her primary dr gave the ok for her to do all this. She found out that her dr never received paperwork from Sono Bello. Her dr also told her absolutely not, she should not do the procedure due to her medical issues. They either forged it or just claimed that they got it. I also called my primary dr as well. They have nothing in my file from Sono Bello. They had to refund my family member the entire $10,000 that she had paid. And they say that once you pay, that’s pretty much it. No refunds. If they did nothing wrong, she wouldn’t have gotten that refund. I would like to be granted my revision. But with everything we’ve dealt with, it’s scary enough to make you think twice.”

She said I could wait and see if I could be seen before 2. So I decided to wait. Because I drove an hour and 25 minutes this business. 1:55pm came and I still was not seen. I reluctantly reschedule this appointment. But while I was there I noticed two people came in stating that they were coming back due to a reschedule appointment. One lady stated she was there yesterday and now she’s back for her appointment today. I wonder if this is the practice of this business? Booking as many appointments as they can. And not being able to see a client until an hour or more after their scheduled appointment.”

“OMG!!! I was skeptical at first that a one day procedure could make much of a difference but I have had a wonderful experience with Sono Bello! I had my waist, bra rolls, and upper/lower abs done. “One of the worst experiences I ever had. Maybe this is what I get for trying to cheat the body's system. STOP! INVEST YOUR MONEY & TIME ELSEWHERE, YOU DESERVE BETTER. The customer service is lacking; hence, no return calls if you can get through to leave a message. The number given to text is not manned by anyone specific; hence, you have to call. The turn over at this site is unbelievable! I requested my records 2 weeks post-op, which took 5 mos to get. I was sent someone elses pics, but most of my info. No one tells you that you will only see a "doctor" the one time - at time of procedure and no more. THIS IS A MEAT MARKET! I had to seek care & counseling after this. My "nurse" left me on the table with an IV starter in each arm, which is yet to be explained and was of very little assistance to me, as I was under anesthesia. I could've fallen or anything. I could go further, but not enough space. DON'T DO IT. Thank God for my safety and my life because more went wrong than right. Not pleased! I would not do this again, not with them.”

Nobody reached out to see if I had received my prescriptions or my garment and here I am 5 days after my surgery and still no garment so again I had to be the one to call and see what's going on with what was suppose to be provided to me for my recovery. I personally do not feel they even care about my recovery because as I said they do not communicate with the patients to even make sure they have received anything for their recovery. So if you choose this location for your procedure just be prepared to stay on top of things your own self because they will not.”

Now mind you I do not live in the Raleigh area and traveled 1hour and 15 min to for my scheduled appointment that I was never attended due to no one having the common courtesy to pick up the phone and call to see if I would like to reschedule due to employee shortage. The was a major inconvenience and a waste of my time and gas, as well as a lack of respect for my time. For a first time would be patient Sono Bello, Raleigh NC has left a bad taste in my mouth, this office is very unprofessional. Contacted practice manager Shannon Scott on Tuesday who was supposed to contact on Monday ( she never did) only to be told that she was busy. Wow really!! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION.
Update just spoke with Shannon Scott informed her of what happened and she states in a nonchalant tone "sorry we missed the mark for you, do you want us to take you off calling list". Can't make this stuff up.”
