“I signed up for free info. I got No info but bombarded with calls texts emails. I told them I just want a little info but they said I need to come in. How about not offering something you don't even do. Then I read the reviews. No thank sono bello. Not up for dealing with a rude Dr. My advice is don't sign up for free info unless you want to be harassed for for months.

“I had my lipo on 9/12/23. The staff is very professional. My surgeon was amazing. I am only on my second day of recovery however, I had minimal bleeding and pain yesterday and also today. The surgeon called me this morning to check on me. Yesterday, the surgeon made sure that I had all my meds (pain and anitbitoitcs) which she had prescribed before I underwent the procedure.
My procedure started on time. Highly pleased so far with the results and pain level. The surgeon is board certified which was important to me.”

“Stop, don’t do it! This place has a bad vibe, consultant Michelle ( I believe that was her name ) I wasn’t impressed! So, I’m not sure! She is stoic, judgmental, rude and does not make you feel comfortable at all! They canceled my first appointment 30 minutes after I was suppose to be there! They claim prices less than a tummy tuck which is very untrue! They don’t offer clear explanations for why this is so much! You fill out all this paperwork and then you sit across from someone that won’t even make you feel comfortable giving this 10K +! Please find some place else to spend your money! Where you are respected based on what you need and not being judge based on your appearance and pockets.”

“I went to Sono Bello looking for a small mommy makeover since I had my daughter over 30 years ago by C-section. Everybody has small flaws that they see within themselves, and Sono Bello was a perfect place to help me take care of those tiny imperfections. From the moment I contacted them, I felt cared for and knew that they wanted to help me in anyway, they could get me looking my best. Everyone at the St. Louis Sono Bello made sure that I was made comfortable and understood every step of the process every member of the Sono Bello team from the front desk staff, Kristine the consultant, nurses and Dr. Olivier went out of their way to ensure I understood the process completely and answered all of my questions completely. I am just two weeks post procedure, and I could not be happier with my results! If you find yourself looking in the mirror and there’s some small flaws with your stomach hips, thighs, or chest area (if you’re a guy) This is definitely the right place for you! I would highly recommend you seek them out and I’m certain that they could help you resolving your minor flaws!”

“I went to Sono Bello because I didn’t like the way I looked when I looked in the mirror so I told them my problems with my upper lower stomach waist and bra roll which is all over basically and I feel as I was ripped off because i payed over 8 thousand just for those areas when they offer something called lipo 360 at a lower price but it wasn’t offered to me then because I was informed that I would have lose skin I told about a procedure call abex which is like a tummy tuck but less invasive it gets rid off lose skin I paid I believe another 3900 for that I had my surgery on March 2 I believe I’m 6 weeks post op not happy so far I have loose skin anyway and my incision where they repositioned my navel still has the stitches that has falling out but is stuck in it the only time you see your surgeon is when their after your money after that you never see them again I feel I was very much taken advantage of and overcharged could have when out the country for less money and better results family and friend asking me for my advice I would tell them to go elsewhere or do there research staff is supper friendly but it set up that way to get your money not satisfied at all Dr Martinez was my surgeon”

“Horribly experience from the consultation reps that evidently aren't located in the area. They was able to tell me general pricing for 3 areas but was unable to give me a general price on only 1 area. I understand that prices vary but they should still be able to give you an average price or at least a starting price. It was a scripted sales pitch and was not pleasant. Not everybody has the time to drive an hour and then do an hour consultation during working hours and then drive an hour back if the trip isn't going to be worth it. So unless you got time and money to waste then I wouldn't recommend them.”

However I feel like I should have talked to a doctor during my consultation rather then waiting until the pre op appointment. During consultation, I was made to think I was a good candidate for smart lipo but during the pre op, the doctor let me know that I really need to lose weight and would not see any dramatic change with sonobello's service. I feel like it was a waste of the company's time and mine to go through financing and making appointments. I am grateful that the doctor was very honest and that's why I feel like I should have seen the doctor during my consultation. To top it off they will not give me a refund of my downpayment, even though I didn't have any work done. I feel like sonobello tricked me and took my money. Now I'm being told oh that doctor you spoke with is conservative and we want you to talk to another doctor we have. I feel like they would say anything and I cannot trust them what they say. I definitely would not recommend.”

“I feel very lucky to have gotten the team I did to help me get my journey started! My consultant Kristine was the sweetest and helpful with answering all my questions, listening to my concerns, and helping me find best package , and even getting me financed! Day of surgery, Tiara was my best friend for the day. I was so nervous, she would just keep reminding me why i was there. She'd let me just ramble on about whatever, we laughed, I cried lol. It was super comforting to have with me, and the stress ball idea in my worst moment, was exactly what I needed, ty!
Dr Gage is very professional, honest and compassionate. He's been more than helpful before, during and even after my procedure. I had some concerns, he took all into consideration and told me what I needed to hear, and not what I wanted to hear. I had a couple of what turned out to be minor issues, but in the moment wasn't sure if it was major or not, and Kristen was on the other end of the phone with me for both of them. Kristen was amazing and a great help with getting me answers, giving suggestions to help always checking back in with me after each one. I was happy to have her at my 1 week post op appointment, where she made me feel really good about my decision, and gave me some really good advice, went above and beyond to help answer all my questions! She really is the perfect person for that position.

“I am not happy at all. I had my procedure on July 31. Not much has changed except I have a lip at the bottom of my stomach. It clearly states that if you’re not happy with the results you can come back within the year of having the procedure if you haven’t gained any weight. I lost 10 lbs and abdomen is still sticking out. I had my “6 month” visit today and all I can say is I wouldn’t recommend any one to Dr.Gage he Seems like all he care about is money instead of trying to solve my issue he states that he can’t do anything unless I pay for a tummy tuck. Now I just paid 6,400 for absolutely nothing. It feels like I still have fatty pockets in my stomach. All Dr. gauge keept saying was diet and exercise diet and exercise and there was nothing he could do. I lost 10 pounds I watch my diet and I do exercise I am 5’5 161 pounds I’m not trying to be 5’5 and wearing a size 2. I could have taken my money to a Board-certified doctor in Miami and paid almost $3000 less, and it would’ve been done right. If you look at the pictures the dates are on them you can tell that there wasn’t much of a change so no I’m not happy with this procedure with that doctor at all now I have to walk around depressed self-conscious of how my abdomen looks it’s disgusting”

Few years back I had done cool sculpting which did not work for me at all, no results. Which made this little bit difficult for me since cool sculpting created lotta scar tissue so some parts of my procedure was little uncomfortable.
Today is exactly 9 days, since I’ve done it and I already see results. Amazing I’m very excited.

One thing I would mention if you do more physical work do not rush back. I went back three days later and I was a little uncomfortable, maybe shorten your hours for few days.”

“This procedure was much more painful and traumatic than advertised. The doctor only appeared to care about my well being. He repeatedly scolded me and told me to stay still during the procedure despite the fact that I was in evident pain. I vomited for ten hours after the procedure. I could not even keep water down. I needed help but didn’t get any support from them. When I shared my concerns at my follow up appointments, the only relief I was offered was a “touch up” session, which obviously means more of the previous treatment. Be wary of this! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”

“Words can not describe the contrast of what I thought the procedure would be like and how it really was. Dr. Willis was so thoughtful and empathetic about his approach that I never dreamed I would be so pleased with the experience. I can't explain to you how lucky I feel to have gotten him as a doctor. At that time I told her that I wished to proceed with my appointment. She told me, "Well, I don't think the doctor wants to do it today/stay at the office now." After 20-30 minutes she called me back and said that the doctor was not giving her the answer she wanted and that he was refusing to stay at the office to fulfill my procedure at the original time it was scheduled for. She said she would refund part of my money but that basically I would have to forfeit the other $2300 I paid in advance even though ultimately the doctor was the one that was cancelling. After we got off the phone I receive a text stating "I think I can get the doctor to stay now can you give me 10 minutes to confirm." At that time I was dropped back off home by my ride, drinking coffee, and with my children. So, no, after the whole ordeal I was not willing to wait around again to see if the doctor would stay for my SCHEDULED PROCEDURE. I contacted the office and have been refused a refund. I was offered free services, money off services, but refused a refund of the money I deposited. I had no procedure done. The whole ordeal was handled very inappropriately.
These people are trained to market you and pressure you into signing the dotted line, making a deposit, and making an appointment. You are seen by an office associate for initial appointment. Not a doctor or a nurse that can answer medical questions appropriately. The office associate was very pushy. “My initial consult went great, I was not kept waiting and the lady that helped me was very informed and thorough on the procedure. Once we finalized the plans, I was booked two weeks out. I went in for a pre op with Dr Lionelli and he was very kind, informative and honest about the procedure and expectations. I was sent home with everything I needed to be ready for my procedure.

The day of surgery I showed up and everything proceeded on time. I was nervous but Dr Lionelli was very considerate and patient. He went over everything again and marked the areas he would be working on and I was given medication.

Once the procedure started, there was mild discomfort and occasional medium discomfort and Dr Lionelli was very attentive, he paused every few minutes to look over and ask me how I was doing and make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The time seemed to go by quickly and before long I was being helped into my garments and on my way home. Within 4-5 days I was able to do most normal everyday things without anything more than mild discomfort. I found that exercise (walking) really helped me. Once I unwrapped my binder on day three I was surprised to see such a big transformation because I had been warned ahead of time that the results would not be as evident until the swelling went down. Everyday is better and at 7 days post op I could not be happier with my results! Dr Lionelli did an AMAZING job of contouring my waste and hips. My 21 year old and I have a very similar figure now and today someone asked if we were sisters 👯‍♀️ Knowing it’s only going to get better is mind blowing to me since I’m already so happy with how I look!

“Hello, I had a procedure done there at Sono Bello on Aug. 10th 2019 and I am very pleased with their staff. The receptionist very pleasant and helpful on the phone and in person. Both the Nurses I had, the day I had my consultation made me feel relaxed because she was relaxed calm and made sure I understood what was happening then and what's going to happen later, very helpful. The other nurse the day of surgery she was very helpful and explained the surgery procedure and went further into it and had a good sense of humor, made me feel that it's ok to be talking and laughing as my fat is hanging out all over, that it was no big deal and that can be fixed. She made me feel it's all going to be ok. Then there’s the Dr. Shatz, he is wonderful told me this is how it's going to be expect this don’t expect that. I think he did a wonderful job. I’m still swollen it's only been 3 days since the surgery no severe pain have not needed to take the pain meds they gave me just a little discomfort bending, sitting and getting up otherwise for the most part it went very well. Thank you to all of you that will be remembered every time I look in a mirror at my new and improved body. God Bless You All…………….

“I went for a consultation... staff was pleasant..It went really quick. I never met the doctor, only a patient care tech. I’m not sure if she was really listening to my goals .. because she seemed desperate.. I felt a lot of pressure and it made me uncomfortable (like high pressure sales).. she asked me to do the surgery the very next day.. and if I did she would take off 4,000.00$.. I ran outta of there.. it seemed very shady.. I was considering until she said that.. no thank you.. be careful ladies.. this is your health and your life”

I am still healing, but the results are already AMAZING! I already feel a lot better about how my stomach looks now. My trouble areas had to do with that stubborn fat that would never go away! During my meeting with the surgeon, Dr. Shatz removed all my doubts by answering all of my questions and being straight forward with how the procedure would go. During the surgery, Dr. Shatz let me know step by step what he was about to do. I felt a little pain in one area during the process and Dr. Shatz stopped what he was doing, and numbed me up some more before continuing. I would go back and get other areas done in a heartbeat!”

“ I was contacted by Melinda ( The practice manager ) A couple of months ago and was told I had to take my review down or they would take legal action. I was just wondering when our freedom of speech became illegal? Why can I not tell my side of the story just because it was bad? They don’t want any negative feedback or negative reviews because it makes them look bad, yet I got a procedure done with no results went back and had what they call a revision with still no results. Then they had me do Venus which was a joke. I followed all the rules on what to do afterwards and absolutely no change whatsoever to my body. Again, this is called freedom of speech! ”

“All of the Sono Bella staff, except for the doctors, are very polite and welcoming. The doctors are rude, uncaring, and unprofessional. I had surgery done on my lower abs, upper abs, and waist. After the horrible pain and sleeping all day for a few days, when I could finally get up and do something it was still a very slow recovery even though I used everything that Sono Bello gave me which included a scar cream, bruising pills, pain pills, a bruising and pain rub lotion, and two compression garments. I wore the compression garments and used everything that I could for the full six weeks that I was told to. Still after six weeks there were no visible changes in the areas of my surgery. My stomach area was very squishy and flabby like Jell-O which I figured was the liquid that was injected into me before the surgery that I could not get rid of even though they told me to drink water and a lot of it, which I did. They proceeded to have me see their head doctor which flew in from Arizona, who was about as rude as they come. He wasn’t going to do the revision because he said I had gained 5 pounds, which I told him in women we can fluctuate 5 pounds in a day depending on what we drink and what we eat and he did not believe me. Anyway after talking to the office manager, she had talked the doctor into doing my revision which he still did not want to do all of this he was only going to do my abs and not my waist. Finally he told me he would do the full revision and blamed it on the previous doctor not taking enough fat cells out. So I went and had my revision done causing more scars on me and this doctor did not go inside my belly button he went above my belly button which then took three months to heal, caused a scar over where my belly button ring goes so I couldn’t put my belly button ring back in and now the hole is completely closed and I cannot wear my belly button ring. So again I had to go through the pain, the sleeping, and the not being able to really do anything, six weeks worth of the stupid compression again which I did and drinking plenty of water which I did. Only to realize that very little change had happened again. So threatening to take them to channel 2 news about it, the manager of the office decided to give me eight sessions of what they called Venus. So I go and do once a week a session of Venus for eight weeks which takes me one hour to get there, and absolutely no results. I just went for my final check up and still had gained the weight, my belly is still jiggly in the area that I said is liquid, and was told that it was fat and maybe a medicine that I am on is causing me to gain weight. I was told that all areas that have the Lipo will never ever grow fat cells again so why do I still have fat cells in those areas? I truly think Sono Bello in Creve Coeur is false advertisement and fake products. It cost me almost $6000 to have those three areas done and I am still disappointed In the way my midsection looks, I have multiple scars, and do not look very much different than one year ago when all of this started. I do not recommend this facility for anyone looking into liposuction. I would recommend looking into a plastic surgeon locally that does not have offices all over the United States. My husband keeps telling me to get a lawyer and sue them to at least get my money back for not providing me with a service that they said they would. They hype it all up making you think you’re going to come out of there in one day with this beautiful flat stomach and hourglass figure but when in all reality you come out a tiny bit thinner, disappointed, and thousands of dollars poorer. No one there can say that I am lying either because they take lots of pictures of your body before, during treatment, and for six months after. So if anything after reading my review I hope that I save thousands of men and women who are looking into using Sono Bello for their liposuction. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice....”

“The service has been exceptional from the beginning, with Stephanie laying out the options, and helping me find the right plan. The entire staff has been professional and kind throughout my journey...always genuinely concerned and helpful. Dr. Porshinsky has also been both professional and honestly kind. He was considerate during the surgery process, asking questions about my pain and comfort, and he called the day after to check on me. He did not only suck the fat out of my body. He took time to artfully sculpt my body, considering how each change would affect the whole. The changes have been incredible! For me, the main purpose of the liposuction was to give me a fresh start both health wise and with feeling better about myself. Before the surgeries I was trying to exercise, but the extra weight combined with some health issues made it almost impossible. I was eating healthy as well, but my medication contributed to weight gain, especially in my belly. Since the surgeries I have been able to cut in half the medication that was contributing greatly affecting my weight. I am also walking 4 miles almost every day, and doing some low impact exercise. I've lost over 40 pounds, and I'm still losing! I've already gone from bursting out of a size 16W to a size 10! That's pretty amazing! Thank you Dr. Porshinsky, Amanda and all of the staff at SonoBello St. Louis! I am grateful!”

“It’s been about a year since my procedure and I am still in love with the results! I still have a pretty decent scar, but to be honest I’ve done minimal to treat it. The staff was amazing. My few suggestions would be to ask TONS of questions during the sales pitch. (It has been some time since my procedure so things can change!) but in my experience I didn’t really know what I was in for until the consultation after I signed the paper work. The doctor was so professional, very clear on what to expect and willing to work around any swim suit etc he could! You ARE AWAKE DURING THE PROCEDURE and there was a lot of pain until the numbing medication kicked it. This procedure is definitely worth the results BUT if you have a low pain tolerance, or blood make your uncomfortable this may not the procedure for you. You will be in a bit of pain the first week or so, but I healed pretty quickly. I am so thankful I got this procedure done here!!! The last two pictures are about 9 months post op!”
