“So I’m about a year out from my procedure and I talk openly with people all the time about my experience, but I’ve not done a proper review.
First, the sales lady was probably the best part of the experience. She was nice, to the point, and open about the options. I signed day of the visit for 4 areas.
The day off, I was the last appointment and it felt like it. They had the vibe of a restaurant waiting to close. They gave me some anti anxiety meds, which wasn’t much more than the dose I normally take, and said I was ready.
The surgery room was a small area with just a gurney. You walk in, lay down, and then you’re ready.
I wasn’t excited about being awake, and wasn’t feeling anything from the anti anxiety, so my nerves were through the roof, and let me tell you, this lipo hurt like hades! I could feel the sucker hitting the inside of my belly button, felt it under my thighs, it was like torture. The doctor kept pushing my leg out of the way when my body instinctively tried to protect itself, and made comments about how I could deal with getting tattoos, but not this.
I’ve given birth and I can say the pain was lower at points.
My sister came to pick me up and said she felt uncomfortable with how quickly they wanted me out the door. Again, it was closing time and I really felt like that played a role.
I went for most of my follow up visits except the 6th month. Every time I saw the survey they were supposed to give me, but didn’t. By 6 months, I never really wanted to deal with them again.
My weight has stayed steady since the procedure, and in clothes, my stomach is flatter, but I don’t feel it’s worth anything near what I paid. Especially with the hour + session of intense pain.
My good friend had the same procedure elsewhere and was blown away by the experience. I truly regret not going with her doc.
Before choosing the commercially obvious sona bello, talk to your friends and see who they suggest. It could be a huge advantage when you’re already committed to doing it.
And my year mark, you’d probably never notice I did anything despite me being an active and generally fit lady (also, I have a weird jut it at the top of my abs… not flattering at all. It’s pretty apparent in the attached pic)”

“I went to Sono Bello because I didn’t like the way I looked when I looked in the mirror so I told them my problems with my upper lower stomach waist and bra roll which is all over basically and I feel as I was ripped off because i payed over 8 thousand just for those areas when they offer something called lipo 360 at a lower price but it wasn’t offered to me then because I was informed that I would have lose skin I told about a procedure call abex which is like a tummy tuck but less invasive it gets rid off lose skin I paid I believe another 3900 for that I had my surgery on March 2 I believe I’m 6 weeks post op not happy so far I have loose skin anyway and my incision where they repositioned my navel still has the stitches that has falling out but is stuck in it the only time you see your surgeon is when their after your money after that you never see them again I feel I was very much taken advantage of and overcharged could have when out the country for less money and better results family and friend asking me for my advice I would tell them to go elsewhere or do there research staff is supper friendly but it set up that way to get your money not satisfied at all Dr Martinez was my surgeon”

“Horribly experience from the consultation reps that evidently aren't located in the area. They was able to tell me general pricing for 3 areas but was unable to give me a general price on only 1 area. I understand that prices vary but they should still be able to give you an average price or at least a starting price. It was a scripted sales pitch and was not pleasant. Not everybody has the time to drive an hour and then do an hour consultation during working hours and then drive an hour back if the trip isn't going to be worth it. So unless you got time and money to waste then I wouldn't recommend them.”

During consultation, I was made to think I was a good candidate for smart lipo but during the pre op, the doctor let me know that I really need to lose weight and would not see any dramatic change with sonobello's service. I feel like it was a waste of the company's time and mine to go through financing and making appointments. I am grateful that the doctor was very honest and that's why I feel like I should have seen the doctor during my consultation. To top it off they will not give me a refund of my downpayment, even though I didn't have any work done. I feel like sonobello tricked me and took my money. Now I'm being told oh that doctor you spoke with is conservative and we want you to talk to another doctor we have. I feel like they would say anything and I cannot trust them what they say. My consultant Kristine was the sweetest and helpful with answering all my questions, listening to my concerns, and helping me find best package , and even getting me financed! Day of surgery, Tiara was my best friend for the day. I was so nervous, she would just keep reminding me why i was there. She'd let me just ramble on about whatever, we laughed, I cried lol. It was super comforting to have with me, and the stress ball idea in my worst moment, was exactly what I needed, ty!
Dr Gage is very professional, honest and compassionate. He's been more than helpful before, during and even after my procedure. I had some concerns, he took all into consideration and told me what I needed to hear, and not what I wanted to hear. I had a couple of what turned out to be minor issues, but in the moment wasn't sure if it was major or not, and Kristen was on the other end of the phone with me for both of them. Kristen was amazing and a great help with getting me answers, giving suggestions to help always checking back in with me after each one. I was happy to have her at my 1 week post op appointment, where she made me feel really good about my decision, and gave me some really good advice, went above and beyond to help answer all my questions! She really is the perfect person for that position.
Nicole and Cassie are stellar at what they do! Everything you call there, it's usually one of them and they are quick to get you what yiu need or to who you need. Every time I called or texted, which was alot lol, they were on top of whatever it was I needed, and or super quick to respond back!

“I am not happy at all. I had my procedure on July 31. Not much has changed except I have a lip at the bottom of my stomach. It clearly states that if you’re not happy with the results you can come back within the year of having the procedure if you haven’t gained any weight. I lost 10 lbs and abdomen is still sticking out. I had my “6 month” visit today and all I can say is I wouldn’t recommend any one to Dr.Gage he Seems like all he care about is money instead of trying to solve my issue he states that he can’t do anything unless I pay for a tummy tuck. Now I just paid 6,400 for absolutely nothing. It feels like I still have fatty pockets in my stomach. All Dr. gauge keept saying was diet and exercise diet and exercise and there was nothing he could do. I lost 10 pounds I watch my diet and I do exercise I am 5’5 161 pounds I’m not trying to be 5’5 and wearing a size 2. I could have taken my money to a Board-certified doctor in Miami and paid almost $3000 less, and it would’ve been done right. If you look at the pictures the dates are on them you can tell that there wasn’t much of a change so no I’m not happy with this procedure with that doctor at all now I have to walk around depressed self-conscious of how my abdomen looks it’s disgusting”

“This procedure was much more painful and traumatic than advertised. The doctor only appeared to care about my well being. He repeatedly scolded me and told me to stay still during the procedure despite the fact that I was in evident pain. I vomited for ten hours after the procedure. I could not even keep water down. I needed help but didn’t get any support from them. When I shared my concerns at my follow up appointments, the only relief I was offered was a “touch up” session, which obviously means more of the previous treatment. Be wary of this! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”

“Words can not describe the contrast of what I thought the procedure would be like and how it really was. Dr. Willis was so thoughtful and empathetic about his approach that I never dreamed I would be so pleased with the experience. I can't explain to you how lucky I feel to have gotten him as a doctor. From the first visit with Stephanie to going home after the procedure, the staff was first class and I never thought I would say I felt wonderful the day after. Here I am two days post operation and I'm in awe of the entire process and result. Even with the swelling I can tell my physique is dramatically improved and the excitement is overwhelming. Of course I'm a little sore but I have had workouts put me in more pain than this. Going into this I was afraid, and nervous. To a point I almost did not go through with it. It’s hard to talk about the part of yourself that makes you uncomfortable. I felt safe to share my reasons for wanting surgery because we all have a story. I had laser liposuction.
Meeting Dr Lionelli was such a highlight ! He is exceptional at his craft. Of course surgery is scary but he made me feel like I would get through all of it and come out with so much more confidence. You cannot put a price on bedside manor . He was so kind and I got through surgery great. There is some pain that comes with the procedure and the entire staff was there to get me through it. He even called me after to check in as well as the staff .
You can tell Dr Lionelli was born to do this :)
Brittney, my nurse was beyond helpful. I even special requested her to be there during surgery and she happily obliged. She related to me and held my hand if I got nervous. Answered all of my questions and calmed me.
The entire staff cheers you on as you are going through this new body transition /journey ! I cannot thank them enough for encouraging me without being a pushy sales person(s), I did my research and education on liposuction surgery and chose Sono Bello for all of the above reasons and many more! My consultation with the doctor was very thorough and he was very detailed and his explanation and sat and talked with me until I was finished. I did not feel rushed or as if I was another case he was just trying to get out of there, he sat there patiently and took the time to answer questions and concerns and walked me through how the entire process would be beginning to end. “I was scheduled for procedures in the St. Louis office. On the day of my surgery date I was contacted via text stating that someone had cancelled before me and the doctor wanted to know if I could come in earlier. I had began having concerns about having my procedure done at this office due to the nature of my initial consultation and meeting with the doctor. I relayed this concern I had and mentioned cancelling my procedure. The office associate called me and I explained my concerns to her. At that time I told her that I wished to proceed with my appointment. She told me, "Well, I don't think the doctor wants to do it today/stay at the office now." "Let me talk to him and call you back." After 20-30 minutes she called me back and said that the doctor was not giving her the answer she wanted and that he was refusing to stay at the office to fulfill my procedure at the original time it was scheduled for. She said she would refund part of my money but that basically I would have to forfeit the other $2300 I paid in advance even though ultimately the doctor was the one that was cancelling. After we got off the phone I receive a text stating "I think I can get the doctor to stay now can you give me 10 minutes to confirm." At that time I was dropped back off home by my ride, drinking coffee, and with my children. On the day of my surgery date I was contacted via text stating that someone had cancelled before me and the doctor wanted to know if I could come in earlier. I had began having concerns about having my procedure done at this office due to the nature of my initial consultation and meeting with the doctor. I relayed this concern I had and mentioned cancelling my procedure. The office associate called me and I explained my concerns to her. At that time I told her that I wished to proceed with my appointment. She told me, "Well, I don't think the doctor wants to do it today/stay at the office now." "Let me talk to him and call you back." After 20-30 minutes she called me back and said that the doctor was not giving her the answer she wanted and that he was refusing to stay at the office to fulfill my procedure at the original time it was scheduled for. She said she would refund part of my money but that basically I would have to forfeit the other $2300 I paid in advance even though ultimately the doctor was the one that was cancelling. After we got off the phone I receive a text stating "I think I can get the doctor to stay now can you give me 10 minutes to confirm." At that time I was dropped back off home by my ride, drinking coffee, and with my children. “My initial consult went great, I was not kept waiting and the lady that helped me was very informed and thorough on the procedure. Once we finalized the plans, I was booked two weeks out. I went in for a pre op with Dr Lionelli and he was very kind, informative and honest about the procedure and expectations. I was sent home with everything I needed to be ready for my procedure.
The day of surgery I showed up and everything proceeded on time. I was nervous but Dr Lionelli was very considerate and patient. He went over everything again and marked the areas he would be working on and I was given medication.
Once the procedure started, there was mild discomfort and occasional medium discomfort and Dr Lionelli was very attentive, he paused every few minutes to look over and ask me how I was doing and make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The time seemed to go by quickly and before long I was being helped into my garments and on my way home. Within 4-5 days I was able to do most normal everyday things without anything more than mild discomfort. I found that exercise (walking) really helped me. Once I unwrapped my binder on day three I was surprised to see such a big transformation because I had been warned ahead of time that the results would not be as evident until the swelling went down. Everyday is better and at 7 days post op I could not be happier with my results! Dr Lionelli did an AMAZING job of contouring my waste and hips. My 21 year old and I have a very similar figure now and today someone asked if we were sisters 👯♀️ Knowing it’s only going to get better is mind blowing to me since I’m already so happy with how I look!

“Awesome customer service from start to finish. Dr Leonelli and nurse Melissa are very professional and polite. Nurse Melissa answered all my questions and put me at ease. The day of my procedure nurse Melissa explained how everything was going to go and Dr. Leonelli came in and explained as well. I am 2 weeks post-op and my results are awesome. I am still sore and recommend that if you are able to, take 2-3 weeks off to recover. I say that because I am a waitress and I took 9 days and honestly it wasn't long enough for the 8 hour day a waitress entails. But I am very happy with the results. I would recommend Sonobello.”
