Matthew Cooper, M.D.

Dr. Matt Cooper is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Cooper did an internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, HI. He then completed fellowship training in Bariatric surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.

He is best known for his high level of patient care. He strives to provide compassionate and expert care to all his patients. He is a member of Professional Organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

When Dr. Cooper is not in the operating room, he enjoys hiking, swimming, and cooking.
