William Ishee, M.D.

Dr. William Ishee was born in Lafayette, LA and returned there after completion of medical school and residency. Dr. Ishee is one of three children with an older brother and a twin sister. He is married and has one young daughter. While growing up in South Louisiana, Dr. Ishee played travel ice and roller hockey for over 10 years. When he is not operating, he enjoys watching hockey, playing chess, working out, hanging out with friends and family, and playing with his daughter. His favorite charity is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dr. Ishee was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.  He was recognized for his compassionate patient care as a role model, mentor, and leader in medicine. Dr. Ishee believes that the key to successful surgery lies in meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of his patients’ needs. He practices medicine with compassion, always prioritizing the well-being and goals of his patients. Dr. Ishee ensures that every surgical plan is formulated to align with each patient’s goals.
