“After my poor review on this company for stealing my full deposit and charging my care credit account for the full amount of a surgery I never had, I was approached about a full refund if I took down my poor review. 2 months later no refund of any kind, and I had to file a fraud dispute for the line of credit they charged.

I will state this: the head corporate office seems very helpful, but I get very little help or positive interaction with the administrative side of this location.”

“I was shocked when I showed up for my appointment. I was directed to an office with a patient specialist who did not appear to have any medical credentials but was tasked with evaluating and determining what procedures I needed to have done. There was no physician or nurse in sight. It is very problematic to have what amounts to a receptionist evaluate patients and decide what medical procedure they should have. In addition I proceeded to consult with 4 board certified plastic surgeons after visiting Sono Bello and their diagnosis and recommendations were vastly different than what I was told at Sono Bello. The quote I received from Sono Bello was $16,000 more than I paid for a full tummy tuck with liposuction and muscle repair at a board certified plastic surgeon in the city. Do your research. Stay away from this place!!”

“This post is to make people aware of company policies and not the doctors. On March 24th, 2025, we paid Sono Bello of OKC $10,700 for a medical procedure they offer for my wife, Susan. Upon an office visit on 4/15, they informed us they did not feel comfortable doing the procedure on her. I'll give them credit for caring more about their patients than money. My problem is getting my money back. They told me a few days later the paperwork for a refund was filed and I should get my refund credited back to my credit cards in 30 days. Another call from them a few days later stretched it out to 45 days While I'm sure I'll get my money someday, it's total BS that it's been almost 11 weeks so far and I'm still waiting. Called them on May 20th and it took them all day to call me back. Told me then I'd have my money by the 27th. It's now May 30th and still no refund. Called them today (30th) and they said they would get back to me, 5:37pm and still waiting. It's funny how companies want paid the full amount instantly, but when it comes to refunds, it's BUYER BE WARE, you'll get it when we are damn good and ready. Sure glad I'm not making payments on a loan. Told them this review was coming, but it doesn't seem to matter to them. Good luck doing business with them.”

“My experience was incredible. I came in for a consultation on a Tuesday just to “check it out”. Well, I felt so comfortable and excited that I booked my pre-op directly afterwards and had my surgery the next day to fill a random opening they had! For reference, I got the laser liposuction on upper & lower abs, hips, waist, and pubic area. I also had skin removal. I was awake for the whole procedure which freaked me out beforehand. However, they give you the right meds to make you comfortable and care free. I actually talked with them during some of the surgery(hope I didn’t say anything too crazy).

Today is the day after surgery(Thursday), and I feel surprisingly great. I can obviously tell that I have had surgery, but I am only needing Ibuprofen and Tylenol alternated for the pain. Dr. Holsey called me this morning to check on me and answer any questions I had. She is so personable and truly a gem!

From the front desk to the nurses and doctors, I am incredibly impressed with the organization and professionalism throughout the entire process. I will be singing their praises to all my friends and family.”

“Has been about 2 years and lipo scars have not diminished at all. Dr at consult even said to not ever say he did my lipo, since that’s all $10k would cover. Had a bad experience with the whole process. Staff is nice but the whole procedure was a joke that left me $10k out of pocket. Should have gone elsewhere with that cost could have gotten a mommy makeover not just lipo. I don’t recommend to anyone.”

Post Op has been great so far. I have not needed anything more that ibuprofen. This is my personal experience as everyone’s will be unique and personalized to their own needs but I hope this gives comfort to anyone on the fence about moving forward with Sono Bello OKC.

I thought it was weird that I had to pay for the procedure upfront before even getting to meet with the surgeon, which I still think is a bit strange. Then when I got to The Surgery Center in Oklahoma City, I was completely at ease.
Dr Eiad was very nice & understanding.
The Surgery was fairly quick. My husband slept thru most of it in the waiting room.
We'd driven 3 hours to get there so he was tired.
It's been 24 hours & I feel great! Everyone was telling me how much pain I would be in. As long as I stick to my pain med schedule I'm fine. It does hurt when it's getting close to time for my next pill.

I was kept informed as every step was made. It was a wonderful experienced .tjey ask what music I wanted to listen to i sang the songs that was playing during the procedure .(I think I heard them sing too) I had moments of discomfort while the lipo at my ribs and a couple different places doctor Hunt was attentive and took care of it and encouraged me to breathe through it then the stinging pain was gone.. The doctor just say she didn't even know what procedure she went in for and a staff member had to tell her right at the surgery table. There so much to say but after reviewing my notes and recordings I review what doctor said during our last visit I find she wasn't that truthful even told her she had cancer but wife never had cancer. And one doctor we saw said she might have gone to deep and hit near a hernia cause the doctor that did surgery was out or in tulsa working. But wife never had a hernia in her past .so there so much to say about this doctor I will not name her but she know who she is and I will say what she told us nothing I can do I wouldn't trust her at all. I know someone will reply say so for your experience or other things but really will that fix anything just someone trying to keep good reviews and this doctor. For me I rather trust the VA medical center lol but again I wi pray for this doctor maybe she will get better and do the right thing look at reviews on yulp”

“To start off I went in kinda scared a little bit, but Kirstyen, my nurse and Dr Halsey are truly the best. “My AbEx tummy removal procedure from Sonobello was an overwhelming success. My pre-op nurse, Audrey, was spectacular!!! Considering it was 6am, she was so perky and pleasant! Her welcoming smile and conversation put any of my anxiety at ease. I recall waking up briefly a few times during the surgery, but this is a normal reaction to the mild sedation. Dr. Braswell (surgeon that I absolutely love) achieved remarkable results, removing around 4 pounds of skin from my lower abdomen and collecting 3-4 jars of excess fats and fluids from my midsection. Directly after, I felt revitalized and enthusiastic, despite some fatigue. That evening the pain was a little higher so I’m glad to have the prescriptions on hand. The following day, the pain had increased but I was able to do most daily things on my own. I recommend this location and their team!! 10 out of 10”

“I can only say great things about my experiences with Dr. Hunt, Audrey and the staff at Sono Bello in Oklahoma City.

I was nervous about meeting the doctor, not just for the procedure, but because revealing a part of your body to a stranger is disconcerting.

Dr. Hunt made me feel completely comfortable, talking through what to expect, answering my questions and alleviating my concerns. He wanted to know what I wanted for my body, my wishes. He was so very kind and respectful! We made a game plan and set up my day of surgery.

Audrey was my nurse and made me feel at home. . She kept me updated at every step and was very professional and sweet.

I think most people sleep during the procedure, but I didn’t. Both Dr. Hunt and Audrey kept me informed the entire time, kept me comfortable answered my questions and made sure I had anything I needed.
They also played great music!

“It was awesome. I was really freaking out about being awake for the surgery but my nurse, Megan, was absolutely amazing. She talked me into a calm state by telling me exactly how the surgery was going to go. Dr. Braswell was also amazing! I asked a lot of questions while he was performing the surgery and he answered truthfully. He also explained step by step what he was doing. He even listened to me telling him that I was going to go home and make a German chocolate cake, his response was “that sounds delicious”. I am still very swollen and I was concerned about it. My nurse, Audrey, assured me that the swelling would go down in 3-6 months. I’m really amazed at the fact that I have had 2 surgeries and with both of them I went home and rested for the day. I did in fact make that German chocolate cake the day after my first surgery!! I have 1 more surgery and I am soooo excited!!

UPDATE
I have had all 3 surgeries done and I can’t believe the results. I feel so much better about my body and I am very thankful to Dr. Braswell and the nurses, they made every surgery awesome.

“I am from the Tulsa area and came to this location for my procedure. I am struggling with a rating between 1 or 2 stars. My procedure was scheduled for 11:30, I arrived at 10 and was taken back for prep but I didn't go in until 5 pm. I wasn't aware things hadn't started since I was already medicated but my husband was left in the waiting room and NOT ONE person came out to let him know if I was done, if they had started. He had to ask before someone told him, "oh she hasn't been taken back yet. The doctor would be the only reason why I struggle with the rating, he was amazing and if I could rate him 5 stars I would but the rest of the staff will get a 1 start simply because I can't rate them a zero.”
