“Beware! Anytime you go for a plastic surgery consultation, you should be meeting with the actual surgeon. No one wants to meet him/her on the day of surgery!
And Nicole (who is only a Patient Care Associate) has terrible follow-up after the consultation. I emailed her at the end of December to let her know that I was ready to make a deposit for lipo. She acted like I was bothering her when she finally responded on January 3rd and I have yet to hear back from her.
But the wait was a blessing because I have since found a real plastic surgery center. I met with the actual surgeon, who was wonderful. She told me that lipo would be a waste of my money, and that I needed a full tummy tuck. She took the time to examine me, discuss my history, answered all of my questions, and she is only about $1500 more than this place charges for just lipo.
Please save your money and stay away from this place, get more than one opinion, and not from a Patient Care Associate!!”

Holy…. Omg. This is the ultimate easy to finish your experience with Sono Bello. My internal hard spots and squishy sections are now gone! After my surgery, my abdomen was hard where the liposuction tubes went in, and I had some fat that didn’t know what to do, so it just sat.
After every session, the hard parts faded to nothing, the little chub pockets disappeared, and now I am left with an amazing figure. I cried when I saw myself in the mirror. I am so happy I finally did something for me!

“We’ll start with the consult. I worked with Kristy, super easy and simple process. I told her what I wanted and I decided to set up the appointment. I saw vita for my pre op along with Dr.Al and it was a great time. Vita was amazing and really made me lose any anxiousness I had. Dr.Al went over everything he was going to do the next day and I was overall happy. Surgery day comes and I was greeted by my nurse Hannah. She was amazing! She really helped me with any anxiety I had because I do not like needles. She helped distract me while Dr. Al did the injections and I honestly didn’t even feel anything. Dr. Al is such an amazing surgeon and his communication skills post op are amazing. It really helps me relax that my surgeon responds so quick with any concerns that I have. 3 days later my soreness has pretty much died down. Swelling of course is there and is in a different spot everyday but I’m not in much pain anymore. Surgery was great. Felt like 20 minutes even though it was 2.5 hours. I didn’t feel any pain and I don’t regret anything. So happy with the results so far. Again thank you so so much to Dr. Al , Vita and Hannah ❤️”

I’m now 5 days post op and have some info I’m sure others will find helpful…
First off I have to admit I kinda rushed myself into this process and probably should have slowed down to do more options research before signing the paperwork with Sono Bello.
With that said, I think choosing this specific office was a lucky move.
I had my consult Monday, flew out for work Tuesday and returned Friday with a lot of questions and anxiety because I’d had some drinks with my team. Reading through the pre-op package it said no alcohol the week prior to procedure and to contact the clinic if there were any slip ups. Contacting the clinic and getting a response was harder than I expected.
But post op it’s been even more difficult to get responses from anyone on my actual procedure team.
Hannah and Mallory were my nurses and my surgeon was Dr Centeno. The whole team was welcoming, kind and reassuring. I think they could tell I was nervous and second guessing my decision.
They had trouble getting the IV in and after 2 unsuccessful attempts Mallory got someone else to do it. When they put it in, it felt wrong and I told them that doesn’t feel right. She assured me it was fine and that she wouldn’t have been able to flush it if it weren’t in a vein. Sure enough it wasn’t in my vein and it’s a good thing there wasn’t an emergency because the saline went into my muscle and my arm was wildly swollen as a result. It took two days for my arm to absorb the saline and return to normal size.
The procedure itself was only painful in a few spots mainly near the spine (I got my waist and abdomen done) and because you’re not totally out you’re able to tell the dr when it hurts. I don't think they did anything about it like add more lidocaine to the spots but you’re loopy enough that you just doze in and out despite the pain.
Post op you’re still kinda loopy and out the door before you’re really fully back to normal. As a result we had no chance to tell them about the IV issue and since we knew it would self resolve my husband said to give it a couple days and if it wasn’t back to normal we’d make a stink about it…lol. Luckily it resolved on its own without any lasting issues that I can tell so far.
Now I admit that I am a nervous Nelly over this procedure but it certainly feels like the moment the money is paid and the procedure is done, it’s very hard to get in touch with your procedure team. I left a couple of messages for Hanna and Mallory none of which were returned. When you call you either get the receptionist who answers your questions or takes a message then you don’t get a call back. It’s not super reassuring to ask questions and only have the word of a receptionist on what/how you should do/proceed in any give instance. Id like to think they do this because of the churn and burn business model and not because they already have your money an no longer care but the only time I actually got a call back was before the procedure when I was desperately trying to make sure it was still ok to have the procedure since I did mess up and have 3 drinks the week before. Once they did the procedure I couldn’t get a call back.
I did however get a 3 days post op follow up call from Dr Centeno. I did tell him I was seeing more swelling on the right vs left side which he said was normal at this point. I failed to ask him about the pain near my spine which I definitely will be asking about at my one week post op appt which will be in a couple of days. I’m between garment sizes which worries me as we went with the size up and the medium is still too tight while the large feels too loose day 5. Will revisit rating after my 1 week appt.”

“I had the AbEx and lipo done yesterday. Dr. Al is fantastic, passionate, and talented. He made me feel so at ease, and relax I didn't really feel hardly anything. Morgan was my nurse and put me so at ease also, it was like talking to an old friend. I am 24 hours out and little pain, just tender. I am drinking a lot of water, taking meds as prescribed and moving around. Can't wawait to take a shower and take off some of the padding.

I was comfortable through the entire procedure never felt an ounce of pain and am ecstatic with the outcome. What was amazing to me was I was waiting for the procedure to start and it was almost was already over. “BE VERY AWARE , YOU MUST SIGN that if the Doctor finds you a good candidate and you change your mind they take over $2,500 NO MATTER WHAT! IF YOU SMOKE ( YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF SKIN NECROSIS/TISSUE DEATH) and the Doctor still will work on you the next day (with high risk of necrosis) after meeting with him and unless you say "do you think I should wait to minimize the risk, then he'll reschedule the operation. However, this made me feel very unsafe and untrusting of them and their practices. So, be very aware..... move with great caution and only agree if you take this and everything into consideration. Please read everything before you're obligated to pay for something you begin to not want after they scare you. I know from my own personal experience. Be blessed and be safe.They very NICE until you change your mind.”

“One word- GREED!!!!! This place is just GREEDY! I HATE how you have to meet with the consultants first (SALES ASSOCIATES) before you see the Doctor. The Doctor has no say in pricing they do. The sales reps are just greedy they don't care about giving you a decent rate they're just charging anything not going off of your BMI, just quoting prices. They get a commission off of you. You can't even see the Doctor until you put $2000 down non refundable after you pay that you can see the Doctor. A tummy tuck is not actually a tummy tuck more so skin removal and everyone does not get the same results depending on how much muscle damage you have, but the SALES REPS don't tell you that. The doctors are really good there, but the SALES REPS at SB is a major turn off! They smile and act like they care but you're just a walking dollar sign. Again, Doctors are amazing, but the SALES REP, NEED TO GO! They would be better off hiring nurses and giving them commission, at least they wouldn't be SALES REPS!!”

“Today has been 1 week since my procedure and I cannot believe what I see !!! ONE WEEK ! Today was my follow up appointment and I was told I’m still swollen and that will go away with a little more time - to reveal even better results. I almost can’t believe this will get any better, I’m thrilled right now.
I’m not sure how long of a review I should write but there is so much to say ! From the day I walked into the Sonobello office in Troy for my consultation with Nicole, I have had a fantastic experience. Nicole was ( beautiful ) honest, straightforward yet “soft” with her explanations and answered all my questions as well as questions I didn’t realize I had. Over the next several days or week, she continued to stay in contact with me and talk with me on a “friend” level, as she knows this is a big deal, a big decision. She was perfect.
Then 1 week prior, I met my doctor and when I left I felt even more sure about this !
My procedure was upper & lower abs, waist and back ( area under bra ), basically my entire torso.
The day of my procedure was a great experience as well. The nurses, Hannah & Brooke, had such positive and caring energy. They love their job and you can tell ! They make you feel so comfortable … you cannot help but be happy.
The procedure itself, for me, was almost fun. You are awake, again the nurses have wonderful energy, they are talking to you and making sure you are comfortable, which I was !
I got home, slept and woke up very sore, as expected.
I didn’t need the pain medicine prescribed, I just took Tylenol. Of course the soreness is to be expected, it’s your core and getting up and down from sleeping position isn’t easy but once your up, your legs, arms and mind are fine and it’s not bad.
The next day I showered. I took off compression garment and COULD NOT BELIEVE it was MY BODY in the mirror!! One day I’m unhappy with what I see in the mirror, thinking I don’t recognize myself anymore - and the NEXT DAY - I’m so happy and again barely recognize myself again … but in the best possible way !
I cannot say enough positive things.
Every single person I came into contact with at Sonobello in Troy made me feel happy.
My surgeon was Dr. Centeno and he was wonderful.
Again, I’m thrilled with my results so far. I thank Nicole for being the exact person I needed for my decision making process and I thank my nurses Hannah & Brooke. Thank you Dr. Centeno.
Thank you Bianca and Morgan and everyone else whose name I wish I could remember.
I cannot wait for my 3 month follow up!”

“I was thoroughly disappointed. I did not gain any overall weight yet my results did start to reverse and they weren’t that great to begin with. I’m so upset. GO GET REAL LIPOSUCTION AT A REAL SURGEONS OFFICE. I almost want to cry when I see others lipo results compared to mine; I did regain fat and there are lumps. My thighs turned out uneven and there’s a huge dip in the left. It was also very painful during the procedure for me; you just get some tablets! That’s it before the painful lidocaine procedure; it’s not painless. You’ll regret going here. Don’t do it, get real traditional liposuction. They only show the best photos. I only gave two stars because my love handles do look a bit better but that’s all the results that were retained. I had to re-lose the tummy fat the traditional way.”

“I am Donnas husband who had the procedure . I thought the information before hand was very professional and informative with no sales pressure . As for the procedure a little disappointed in the fact i was in the waiting room over 4 1/2 hours and no one ever called me or came out the entire time to tell me how Donna was doing until she was 10 minutes from being done and then told to pull up the car . It would also be nice when a spouse is waiting 4 to 5 hours in the recovery room to have some waters or snacks there was none .The nurse that wheeled her out was very nice and explained stuff in detail to me .

“This place is very disrespectful to your time! If your time doesn’t matter then go here. I had my consultation at 9am they made me wait 1 hour and then they said we didn’t forget about you but the person that I was supposed to see was in a conference call and they had no idea when she was going to be done. They said maybe 15-20 more min but they were sure. I was so disappointed specially because I took my day off from work just to come here, so i said to them it’s okay I’m not just gonna sit here in the lobby and wait not knowing how much longer because they couldn’t really give me a straight answer just so I can be seen for 5-10 min. I was having reservations between the AbEx and lipo or just lipo as you do get some skin tightening. The nurse came to me and talked about how are bodies are similar and the AbEx and lipo was what she is scheduled to have done and she went through her reasons why. “April 4 2021 I had laser liposuction and my results were horrible my stomach is botched. They told me what I wanted to hear just to get my money I paid $6000 for my procedure I went to every appointment did everything they said watch the videos and in the end they blame me I saw four doctors because I wasn't satisfied with my results and each doctor after the doctor that perform the procedure when they looked at my stomach area I can tell by their reactions my stomach was botched. I want a refund! They tell you if you are not satisfied with your procedure they will go back in not true. I'm so unhappy with my results everytime I look in the mirror I start crying it being a year and I'm Still 😡.I was told if I'm looking for a snatched waistline I need to have cosmetic surgery. I didn’t feel anything when it came to the AB-ex and umbilical reposition, the liposuction on the other hand didn’t feel that great but for for having so much done I expected a hard recovery, a lot of the post op pain I’ve had was from the lipo. I strongly recommend if you get multiple areas of lipo to get professional post op massage and Sono Bello gave me that info when I met with Dr AL prior to surgery. “I want to say everything went well. Staff is great. I have a flat stomach and no more back fat it worked. It looks great. But I made a huge mistake in judgement. PAIN!! First the pain during the procedure was excruciating. I felt everything. After the procedure I was in pain on my left side pretty bad. Each incision hurts so bad don't even touch or bump them. I have one on my lower left side that I sat on about 8 times and it was like a knife in my back. Do you like waist trainers? Test one first because you have to wear one for 1 month 24/7 then 12 hours a day for 2 months. SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!! I am on day 11 and still extremely uncomfortable. My lower back is numb and I can't sit for long. COST! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! I could have bought anything. Down payment for a new car, all new appliances, new carpet in 5 rooms in my house plus more. I could have hired a trainer and a nutritionist and still had money to buy anything. I lost my mind! This is a big decision and I made the wrong one. YES it works and it looks great but if I could go back I would have never done this procedure. This is about me not you. If this makes you think first this is what I want you to do. Think first.
NEW 8/11 ALMOST 2 MONTH SINCE PRODECURE
I can see my stomach is changing. Not as flat as previous. I still ware the waist trainer daily more then 12 hours due to the fact sometimes it feels like my intestines are coming out of my stomach. My left side has serious pain and swelling. I have had issues with my left side since day one. My entire summer was uncomfortable. Can't sit for long it hurts, can't lay to long on my left side it hurts, even my under ware hurts. Dresses are the best for me and boy shorts. The waist trainer they provide is not one-size-fits all. I still regret this procedure.
9/9 Almost 3 months in and I still regret my procedure. Not because it didn't work but from all the pain I am still having on my left side. The holes they put in your skin I have 9 of them. I have been using scar cream for 2 months and the holes are still there and completely noticeable. I have 9 scars that may not disappear. Everyone that sees them will know I had a procedure. Still wearing the compression garment and will for months to come due to my pain. I have more pain when I sit. Good luck to all of you who decide to do this. I still wish I did not.”

My procedure appointments were made and now all I had to do was wait in excited anticipation of beginning the process of becoming a new ME! I went to my pre-op appointment and met Dr. Mucci at that time. He was very reassuring, respectful, and kind. All my questions were answered and the entire procedure explained, so as not to have any surprises. Nurse Nicole was also very informative, friendly and kind. She explained all of what I would need to do after my procedure. I came back the next day where I met my nurse, Audri, who was with me the whole time and took good care of me, getting whatever I needed. I felt very comfortable with both Audri and Dr. Mucci. Dr. Mucci explained what he was doing , so there were no surprises and took great care to make sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure. I am now 4 days post op and although sore, I am following all my aftercare instructions and can’t wait to see the new me in the end. I would highly recommend Sono Bello and Dr. Mucci to anyone looking to make a change. Thank you and I look forward to stage two of my procedure in a few weeks!”

“Dr Lakin spent a very long time with contouring my body. Everyone was funny and we told jokes during to keep things less scary. Audri was sweet and kind. Just know that the meds they give for surgery keep you zonked ALL day so don’t forget to take your pain meds! The were also very fair and compensating when there was a miss up with my initial surgery date and it had to be changed.”
