“I was so hopeful for the appointment. Hopeful that it would help me. But when you get to the location they have no useful directory. Just a touchscreen that tells you which tower the suite is in by the building’s street address number. There’s no direction inside that shows you which tower is which.
I stumbled around for several minutes before I could even find their suite but I managed to get there on time. I stood at the desk for another 5 minutes before sitting down. It was only then that someone noticed me.
I said I had an appointment for 11am. The woman handed me a clipboard with a pile of papers (not sure why since it was a free consultation and they don’t take insurance).
She then said “Great. Fill these out and we’ll get you rescheduled.”
I said “No, I have an appointment.”
She replied “Yeah, Sorry we just don’t have “wiggle room for anyone who shows up late so we will need to reschedule you”.
I was on time and had been standing in their waiting room for at least 5 minutes before she even noticed me.
I said “No sorry” and left.
I was down the elevator, through the lobby, across the parking lot and back in my car by 11:08 am.
I live 45 minutes from the office and I was dismissed in less than 2 after waiting for 5 for the receptionist to even show up. (But I was late? Sorry don’t think so)
Obviously they’re not interested in me or my cash payments.”

I had an appointment today at 845am was told to be there 15 minutes before appointment so I arrived at 835am with another potential patient in front of me by seconds was told by the receptionist that they do double book and I would have to wait until the patient that walked in front of me was done and could be 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how long they talk so by then was a little upset with that and decided well I showed up which took a lot for me to even do…waiting and waiting until 10am finally Samantha says she can now see me by this time I was clearly upset with the wait had other things to attend to but I went in her office she started apologizing for the wait which was nice but her overall tone I could tell she judged me for being upset then started with her process of what she was going to go through with me first question what brought me here and what I’m looking for I answered with I had gastric bypass and cannot afford excess skin removal between 5000-8000 so I saw your advertisement for specials and also advertising laser fat removal with tighten skin which is considered less money than surgeries (non or minimal) Samantha quickly changed her tone with me and said well let me just cut to assess you to see if you’re a candidate, has me stand up pull my shorts all the way down I tell her everything I would like to have done and she quickly says well you would need more than what we can do for you, you need a body lift from a surgeon and I said so you’re saying I cannot do laser fat removal and her tone got hire (mean, nasty) she said you can but after we are done you’re going to have more elastic skin and even more work needed so I don’t want to waste anyone’s time I’ll give you surgery suggestions so you can call around to other surgeons … that’s it done in her office at least 6 minutes in there for her to tell me nothing they can do for me and rush me out for next patient waiting… the feeling I felt was rejected not worthy judged and discriminated against etc by Samantha I really can’t even describe everything I felt and feel that’s how disappointed I am. Took me a long time to just come into a place for my body how I feel about myself is just depressing and I left that office astonished and more depressed… DO NOT Recommend that office (new office Tucson Williams circle) it was not comfortable nor did I feel safe with my feelings!!!! Even more discouraged than when I went in.”

I wasn’t seen by a doctor, my consult was done by a woman who doubled as the receptionist. I was taken to an office but wasn’t given a gown to change into. She said “just lift up your clothes and show me your problem spots”. She explained a few procedures then proceeded to quote me a price for the procedure ($11,000 - $17,000 depending on what procedure I choose) she also said the doctors aren’t located in town, so you have to drive to Scottsdale for the procedures and follow ups. There are many wonderful local plastic surgeons here, don’t bother with this company. Their business ethics are horrible.”

“When I first contacted Sono Bello after one of their commercials, I spent a while on the phone with them as they do a medical assessment before making an in-person appointment with you. Then I get to my appointment and I’m made to complete paperwork in the waiting area. They never told me that the surgery center is located in Scottsdale—not Tucson! Even during my exam there was no mention of the location of their surgery center. When I was done with my appointment, while still sitting in my car, I began reading the reviews and that’s how I found out that the surgery center was located in SCOTTSDALE! I think they should be upfront and mention the surgery center location in their commercial before you invest any more time on this! I was very disappointed. I’ve had a couple calls from them to apologize for not revealing the location of their surgery center in the beginning. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed “before” people spend more time on a procedure that’s located in another city.”

“I was really looking forward to my free consultation visit with Sono Bello. Because they finally open up a location in Tucson according to the Sono Bello ambassador team who made my appointment. She actually lied to me, she told me that the Tucson location is new and that it is equipped with equipment and surgeries, surgeons and that everything is the same as their other office in Phoenix/ Scottsdale area. After going to the Tucson location and speaking with Samantha so told me that this location doesn't have surgeons it's only for consultation. The new Tucson location is only a new consultation location only. You still have to drive to the Phoenix / Scottsdale location for your visits appointments before and after your surgeries. I feel like I was deceived and under false pretenses.”

“I was greeted very kindly by Toni, and given some paperwork to fill out. We chatted for a minute, and she was very nice. Then I met with Samantha who was also very nice, and welcoming. She gave me a very straightforward consultation, and was able to answer all my questions. I really felt at ease the whole time I was at Sono Bello. No high pressure, just pointing out my different options for procedures and payment. Loved the transparency. I highly recommend you give them a try.”
