Patrick Nero, M.D., FACS

Dr. Patrick Nero is happy to join Sono Bello St. Louis! He is married to wife Jean whom he shares three children, one girl and two boys. Dr. Nero was Summa Cum Laude for both undergrad at Dayton and medical school at Ohio State. While at Ohio State, he won the Zollinger Prize in surgery. Throughout his medical career he has been heavily involved in medical leadership roles with multiple terms as a Chief of Surgery. When not operating, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, skiing, and playing golf.

Dr. Nero’s medical philosophy is to always provide high quality surgical care with excellent outcomes by carefully listening to each patient to understand their individual goals and needs. When doing so, it allows him to formulate the best treatment plan to achieve those goals and then communicate the options and expected outcomes in easy-to-understand language to set them on a path to successfully met and exceed those goals.
