Joel P. Maier, M.D.

Dr. Maier is a board certified plastic surgeon with an M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR and a B.S. in Biology from Portland State University.

He completed his Residency in General Surgery at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital and his Residency in Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Maier is Board Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow member of the American College of Surgeons and is published in many leading medical publications, including: Journal of Plastic Surgery, Journal of the American College of Surgeons, and Annals of Plastic Surgery, to name but a few.

Active in the charity Operation Family Fund, Dr. Maier also enjoys skiing, biking, hiking and basketball. He is married and has two children ages 5 and 6.
