“I’m so upset! My first surgery was in January and it was for the liposuction and the back brawl fat. My second one was the tummy tuck or whatever it’s called and unfortunately, none of this stuff worked for me. I am 63 years old and very disappointed that I have a bill to pay still and that nothing good happened from it. When we showed the nurse my back where the brawl back fat was supposed to been removed she said they didn’t remove skin but yet there’s a picture of my skin that they removed for the Lipo. I just wanted this dream to come true and it’s destroyed I am just very upset that they couldn’t took better care of me, the back that was supposed to be removed actually moved down my back to my lower back now my stomach is bigger on the top than it was on the bottom so therefore I look pregnant I do not fit any of my clothes. I do not understand why those procedures couldn’t help me out . Hope no one else falls for this because it’s a total rip off, I changed stars to a 3 cause they responded the same day I posted the review. I will probably change the rating if they fix my problem we haven’t quite got there yet. They did set me up another appointment to see the doctor though. Thanks for the great Customer Service.”

That fear came true. I came in for 3 different follow ups voicing my concern about it, for them to tell me give it a year and it will look normal. That they won’t do anything about it. It’s been over a year and it still looks like a flat hole. Just looks awful.Doesn’t look like a belly button at all. I feel even more insecure than I did before the fat and skin removal. I have to tell you I am so excited about my amazing transformation. I had 4.1 lbs of skin removed and this month I have lost 11lbs. I am shrinking daily and let me tell you I haven’t seen my vagina in 45 years due to weight gain and a sagging belly. I now can see my feet and that I really do have a vagina down there, lol. “I had the first of 2 procedures completed today is the first day after surgery. Dr. Maier is my surgeon at the Cincinnati location. He is AMAZING!!! I’m having the Lipo360. Yesterday I had my hips, waist, and backside, and my neck liposuctioned. The procedure was not bad at all. The numbing medicine did not hurt at all. The actual liposuction portion simply felt like an internal massage. Difficult to explain the feeling but it was not painful at all. I was anxious before surgery but the medicine I took prior to surgery made me feel quite at ease. My nurse was Danielle! I cannot thank her enough for being by my side. She is a gift in the nursing field. She made me feel so safe, secure, and comforted. I absolutely loved her and I hope I get to have her again for my 2nd procedure. I could go on and on about how special Danielle is!! As for the pain on day 2, I’m very sore but that’s to be expected. I never went in thinking it would be pain free. The soreness is very manageable and not “painful” just really sore. I expect days 3 and 4 to possibly be the worst but I can’t really speak to this yet. I’m very much excited about surgery number two which includes upper and lower abdomen and skin removal. I hope this review will assist others in hearing it’s not bad (at least for me everybody is different of course) and I would do this again in a heartbeat. I’m at the beginning stage of my weight loss journey, but this is going to provide me with a lot of hope for my future. Thank you Dr. Maier and Danielle at the Cincinnati Sonobello location!"”

Dr. Maier is in his own right an exceptional perfectionist. I am 70 years old and this has been the best investment in my own personal health journey for the first time in my entire life because I now have a flat belly.
Dr. Maier gets 5 ⭐️’s from me and if you are at all concerned about the cost don’t be because it is worth every penny. I can look down and see my feet and actually told my daughters for the first time in 50 years I can see that I have a vagina. Plus I am excited to wear a bathing suit that doesn’t look like a tent floating in the water.
I hope if you are on the fence please take the plunge and gain more confidence in yourself. I never wanted my picture taken and this time around instead of granny panties. I’m going for the thong. Hope that makes you laugh. It sure has changed my attitude and the quality of my life.”

“My review is solely based on my consultation I did Not receive plastic surgery from Sono Bello at this location but I did do a consultation. For starters the location is very hard to find as it’s in a random Building and Not labeled at all. I had to call Sono Bello to get help to figure out where Sono Bello is even located, and even then you are Not talking to the people at the actual location you are talking to a random representative from the Sono Bello conpany. Next I sat in the waiting room for about 40 minutes just to be told my wait was going to continue to be longer because they scheduled 3 other people at the same time as me. They offered a virtual consultation which was the Doctor calling me and looking at my ID picture to get an idea of what I wanted to address which is chin lipo. I have a small double chin That bothers me and I describe it as could be better could be worse. For the chin lipo I was told it was going to be $5,000 which honestly seemed pretty high. I received a prior price for chin lipo for $3,500 at New Body Aesthetics in Cincinnati and all I had to do was call them for a price before doing a in person consultation. Their Doctors nickname is the Lipo King. After everything I am going to go to New Body Aestheticsand get my work done by the lipo king. If you are interested in just liposuction or fat transfer I would suggest checking out New Body Aesthetics.”

“The entirety of my experience at Sono Bello Cincinnati has been nothing short of exceptional. I was so hesitant when I arrived for my consultation appointment, worried (a) that I hadn’t yet lost enough weight for surgery and (b) that the cost would be prohibitive. My fears were put to rest on both fronts at the consultation as I spoke with the wonderful Jennifer (there are even no-interest financing options available for those who need them!), and I got scheduled right away for liposuction of my waist plus upper and lower abs, as well as excess skin removal surgery (AbEx). The surgical plan was accomplished via two separate procedures, both performed by the miraculous Dr. Joel Maier, with the assistance of his highly skilled nurses (Danielle, you’re my new bestie!). When I tell you that Dr. Maier is both a physician and an artist, you can believe it! I don’t know how he does it. I am two weeks out from my second procedure, and of course there is still swelling - but even if these were my final results, I would still be ecstatic, because guess what? This lady is *snatched* now! (And I was a heifer, lol!) I keep telling Dr. Maier that he’s changed my life because it is the truth; I haven’t felt or looked this good in almost 30 years, before kids. I only wish I had done this ten years ago! I have ZERO regrets and would do it all over again in a heartbeat to get to where I am now. And to think that I’m going to get even smaller?? I almost can’t even comprehend it. Praise God and THANK YOU DR. MAIER for helping people like me! Life is SO good.”

“Everyone was kind. I just had my procedure yesterday. I plan to send before and after pictures. My first procedure was my waistline that was done by a different doctor. My second procedure was getting rid of my stomach fat done by Dr. Dawson. He was awesome. He was very personable. He took his time with me at my preop visit, answered all my questions and I appreciated the fact he didn’t make any empty promises.. Dr Dawson made sure I understood my meds and what to expect. He took the anxiety away. During my procedure, we talked to me between my napping. The day after my procedure Dr Dawson called me to see how I was feeling. He reviewed the importance of walking, eating and eating extra protein to help the healing process. I can go on and on about his wonderful bedside manners as a doctor. My friends are asking me about Sonobella and I intend to highly recommend Dr Dawson. It is expensive however it is worth it. Sonobella staff was great in finding ways to pay for the procedure without breaking the bank.
Nurse Donna was also great. She was personable. She was the nurse at my first procedure and the second procedure. With all the patients that she has worked with, she remembered me from the first procedure. That made me feel comfortable. She shared her experience with me.. She was with me through both procedures like a friend to hold my hand for moral support.
I met Nurse Sarah at the end. She was cool. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Dawson and Donna. Sarah took me to the car in a wheelchair she put a pad on the seat in case of drainage.
The front desk staff was nice. When I had the first procedure I called a lot because I had a lot of unanswered questions after my procedure. Dr Dawson did not do the first procedure. I wished he would have. They made sure I got answers.
Dr. Dawson is the greatest, I really appreciate him and making me feel like a friend not just a patient. Thank you Dr. Dawson and Nurse Donna. I highly recommend you. ❤️”

I am extremely dissatisfied with my results.
I went in for a consultation and went over the problem areas I wanted fat removal.
During consultation the rep stated if I were to be dissatisfied with results after the procedure they would rectify.
Unfortunately that's not true
I am left crooked and with massive fat and was told if I wanted more fat removed I'd have to pay and there's nothing that can be done about the crookedness.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.”

Two days prior to that appointment I received a text from the Lexington location saying they needed to push it out a week. Unfortunately, my work schedule does not permit me to change my schedule at the drop of a hat. “I had a great experience with Sono Bello up until I needed a refund. It has been 6.5 weeks and I have not heard from anyone in the office, not a text message or phone call. I've called and left messages for the office manager and Jenifer, and still I have not heard anything. Fortunately, I was able to get out of my financing contract, however I am sill waiting for my $5, 249 to be refunded. I gave them three stars because as I mentioned earlier, the process was seamless (Dr. Sharif and his nurse were amazing!!)up until the point I was medically unable to go through with the procedure and needed a refund. Ali explained that it would take UP to six weeks to be refunded, but can be quicker. I'll be entering 7 weeks shortly and still nothing. I wrote this review with the hopes that the manager will contact me before the week is out with next steps.
Update: Some one reached out to me today, and took full responsibility for the lack of communication and confusion, which is great customer service. I was pretty bummed I could not get my procedure, but when I am able to I do plan on coming back to Sono Bello in the future.”

“I am so glad I did this....I felt poured into my clothing even though I'm not heavy...I just had a lot of extra skin in the trunk area and a little fat....they made it happen for me! “Well. I have been a struggling with my weight for a long while. I girst had the gastric sleeve. Lost 75 lbs and decided that I was going to check out this "Sonobella" placlce that I've seen advertised. I have had quit a large lower loose belly and after having back surgery, where they went in from the side" it then became a shining belly.... um noooooo.
So I went online and immediately received a response, made my appointment for my consultation. I cannot even tell you how well received I was. I felt like those girls were my family. I was never uncomfortable. I didn't have to wait to be seen for even a minute.
Even though I was hesitant about how bad my belly looked, Mary Jones made me feel comfortable with what Mary was showing me, I knew I'd be comfortable with myself once again after Sonobella.
Mary walked me threw the expense and explained my options. I was never overwhelmed.
I chose to have my abdomen liposuction, and excess skin removed. After paying, signing.and making surgery appointment I actually was so excited!!!
I was originally secluded to have surgery in April, but Mary put me on a list incase an earlier appointment became available. Well, an earlier appointment did become available!!!! I had surgery now scheduled for March 17th!
The amazing people at sonobella worked at getting my preoperative scheduled and made sure that I had no questions and was completely prepared for the day of surgery and after surgery.
The day of surgery went very smoothly! My nurse April was wonderful and helped make me comfortable and she made sure I had no questions before we got started. Dr. Maier was nice, efficient, and always answered any questions I might have during procedure.
I received a call the next day from the nurse. She made sure I had no problems or questions.
My first follow up appointment was today. I feel awful because I cannot remember my nurses name at my appt. However she was so helpful, sweet, and Very knowlegable.
In all these words the most important emotion that im trying to get accross is that the Sonobella "family" has been so amazing to me. I have been happy, excite and at this point in my journey very satisfied and feel very strongly that i'll end with the results i was hoping for.

“Had upper/lower/sides done and I’m 8.5 months post op. I have dropped 25lbs since procedure. I am Now able to fit back into clothes from 20 years ago!!! However…not looking so good with cloths off and no faja 😳 I was told by my doc that my skin was healthy enough to snap back into shape but that is not what’s happening. I have lumps, lose skin, an uneven belly, and still have that stubborn fat that sono bello claims to rid you of. My BMI is 24 and after reaching out to sono bello with my concerns was quoted a price of 7000$ and recommended abex. I can’t understand why I wasn’t told from get go that to achieve the best results the tummy tuck or abex would need to be done and why are they trying to charge such a high price when this should be a revision with abex added, Especially when I’m paying upfront? So much for contracts or satisfaction guaranteed. I don’t know if sono bello dosent understand how embarrassing it is to have this done and feel so uncomfortable. I don’t even want to take my clothes off in front of my partner 😢 I am seeing so many other females expressing the same opinions and have to talked to several ladies on price that are not being quoted half as much as I am(same bmi).
Bottom Line…I am not satisfied & do hope sono bello does the right thing and corrects the issues at their Cincinnati location vs me reaching out to cooperate.”

As if that alone isn’t enough to not recommend this place to anyone, the front office “staff” blared music the entire time we were there (about 5.5hrs) and were so loud, I could barely hear my Zoom call with headphones in and volume all the way up. Never encountered anything like it in a medical setting. Completely uninviting atmosphere.”

“I met with Dr. Vashi today regarding a procedure and he let me know that he did not believe I was candidate and did not approve medical clearance at this time. I respect his decision and I appreciate him being honest. However when trying to cancel the procedure I had to meet with the sales representative Allie. The sales rep made it very clear that as a patient I was able to override the doctors decision. I explained to her his safety concerns were serious to me and that if he didn’t think I was cleared for the surgery then I would trust the doctor to make that decision and requested she refund the prepaid procedure as the doctor explained would occur since he declined me for the procedure. I cannot believe that a salesperson would, in front of a patient, disagree with a physician who is certified by a medical board and tell a patient to still do the procedure anyways. Clearly she was concerned more about the $$$ or commission instead of the fact that their physician with their practice relayed it is not requested as a safe procedure for a patient . At the end of the day I am somebody’s mother, wife, sister and that is what I appreciate the doctor being honest about, no procedure is with risk if the doctors had advised against it. I am absolutely appalled though by the lack of integrity with how it was handled by a salesperson after I met with their physician.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m here to tell you that ANYTHING cosmetic you want done, to go to Dr. Cory Geiser at New Body Aesthetics in Cheviot, Ohio. I had such a horrible experience with Sono that I put down the non refundable 3k deposit and still walked away. The communication was terrible. I had my consult and was told I could finance and then right before surgery was told I couldn’t. They didn’t know my payment plan I made with the consultation and kept calling about payments after telling them many times I was on a plan. I had to reach out so many times to not get many responses. Nothing was made clear and when I restated what they told me when it came to the financial aspect they claimed they didn’t say that as if I’d just make it up. After so much I finally left a bad review here and they had the audacity to call me and tell me to change it. I did because they tried to improve and I thought we were finally on the same page but we were not. I didn’t get the surgery with them and walked away. I found New Body Aesthetics and Dr. Geiser spent 2 hours with me alone on the consult just answering all questions. He actually cares about what he does because it’s his name he’s representing unlike Sono which is just another company. The surgeons don’t care because it doesn’t affect their name specifically. Only Sono. But Dr. Geiser and his office have been nothing but absolutely amazing in every single way imaginable. They treat you like royalty always offering coffee, water, giving you all the info. They never kept me waiting. I’m so happy I chose to go here instead. I can really feel how passionate they are to please their customers and not to mention they do free touch ups until you and Dr. G reach the mutual goal you had for your body. Please do yourself a favor and go to a place where they remember who you are and treat you like an individual . Not a rating or a paycheck.”

“For the most part my experience has been really good, starting with my consultant, Ali. She was very welcoming, friendly and encouraging. The girls at the front desk are friendly as well, although there were a couple of times when I called that didn't come across so friendly which didn't sit well with me. Dr. Vashi has a quiet demeanor (to me) and that's ok, as long as my final results meet the expectations I've seen and been told about by others that have had him as their Dr 😊. The post procedural nurse (can't remember her name...Tori, Toria) was very friendly. Now that I am post op from my first procedure, I wish I would've been informed more about the different kinds of compression garments I would need and why and which to wear when. I feel like I've been trying to figure out which one to wear since the one I got one week out now feels too big and I don't know if it is still doing its job. Do I need an abdominal board, new compression garment, both? It's overwhelming to figure out on my own when there are so many styles to choose from and with the amount of money I'm putting into these procedures I wish I had better knowledge what to choose. That would probably be my only negative thus far in my journey. So at this point, I would recommend this office for your procedural needs.”

“Prior to having lipo two weeks ago, I read many reviews regarding Sono Bello and the services that they provide. After reading the reviews and watching a ton of Youtube videos I made the decision to go in for a consultation. I can honestly say that it was a good experience and Ali did not attempt to pressure me but provided me with the necessary information to make my decision. She was insightful and easy to engage with during the visit. I was even more pleased when I had a question regarding pain meds post surgery and Dr. Vashi called me himself regarding the concern. This was a great surprise to me because so many times medical groups will have someone contact you on behalf of the doctor. I think it adds a personal touch and provides you with comfort that the person who will be doing your procedure has no problem taking the time out to call you to address your concerns. During my procedure, Dr. Vashi kept me informed throughout the whole process and made me feel comfortable. When we approached places that might feel a little uncomfortable, he would prompt me along the way. I am also happy to report that I did not have to use any of the pain medication that he prescribed post-surgery. Dr. Vashi took the time to call me and check on me after the procedure, so again, it's the small personal touches that matter. Overall, I can say that it has been a great experience with Sono Bello starting with the ladies at the front desk.

“I am going to be honest. I never do reviews. People either meet my expectations or don’t. I was so pleasantly surprised by the customer service from every single person I encountered. Ali from the start made me feel that I could do it. It is so hard being a single mom but she did the surgery and was open to it and was so happy with it. You could tell how she radiated it. Dr. Sykta was so honest and matter of fact I loved it. We made some changes to my plan after she saw my body. Don’t you just always want someone to be real with you. Another plus is the over communication, they inform me from day one and kept communication open and checked in on me. Megan one of the sweetest nurses help ease my anxiety ahead of time and we made sure all the paperwork was in order. The lovely nurse I had first (so sorry I cannot recall your name) made me feel comfortable even when I told her I was nervous. To do this was a 2 year decision, but even bruised and battered. Still another great decision. If you are considering it. Just go talk to someone you will be happy you did! ”

As we all know Covid has messed up a lot of our lives and interrupted calendars and times. I was hoping to get a revision done but Covid came, mom got sick and passed away and life was on hold for a year. I messaged my issues with the receptionist hoping to start my revision appointments but was told too much time had passed to restart everything. I was disappointed...but I have to say that Sonobello came through and I am actually going to get the revision done. Ty Crawford was extremely nice and apologetic about the mixup. Thank you very much Ty!!

“If you are wanting a quick one day fix this is NOT it! The commercial is a bit misleading saying done in one visit. That’s most often NOT the case. This takes time, patience, and willingness to make changes and do the work to get to your wanted results. I advise anyone considering this to take advantage of the free consultation and ask tons of questions keeping in mind that the consult is the SALES portion and it’s NOT cheap. The website price says “starting at $” for a reason! I would have liked to talk to a nurse too at the consult if I knew what I do now. My transformation thus far has not gone like what the sales rep told me it would. Everyone is different. Doctor can change his mind on plan of care once he starts a procedure depending on the patients body. My main issue has been with communication regarding the changes made to my procedural care plan. I didn’t know my procedure went different than planned until two days later when I changed the bandages! The nurses didn’t even know what I did or did not have done until I asked and they looked at the physicians notes on my record. Don’t get me wrong - so far every staff member there has been great….especially Megan at my post op visit. I felt comfortable and she addressed ALL my questions and concerns without making me feel silly. Another issue: Privacy can be improved big time at the reception desk. Personal information should NOT be discussed there for the whole waiting room and hallway to hear! ASK to speak in private. I have just completed step one of my transformation and have only had these few issues which were resolved or I might be giving a 5-star rating! I am healing fast and ready for step two and VERY excited! I will definitely give a full review once I am done and completely healed in about 8 months. ”

“PLEASE do not go here! I’m six months out from liposuction on my stomach and the best way I describe my 12 pounds I gained in my belly area is I’m mutilated! I went back for my second follow up appointment and asked to see a different doctor. He had very few words to say to me, except I did lose my 12 pounds! I just cried asking for his boss. The manager came in to see me as I was crying and at least she said “First of all, I’m sorry “. She offered me 8 treatments of Venice treatments. I said ok and came home and talked to family and decided I don’t want them to touch me! I have two appointments with two plastic surgeons in January to see if they can fix this mess. My belly button is basically gone as I knew it and my stomach looks as though someone used a pellet gun on me. I turned 60 this year and thought I’d treat myself to the stomach I acquired through this pandemic. This was the worst 6 months of my life. I called three times complaining how I hurt and they said it was normal. My pictures are too graphic to share and I’m only posting this to save someone else from the biggest mistake I made. I spent $6200 on this supposedly easy procedure and now I’ll probably spend another 10k on trying to repair me if they can. The Venice procedures they’re offering free to me for me to go every two weeks for four months won’t do a damn thing from what I’m reading and the doctor himself DID NOT RECOMMEND it and when I asked him, he said it’s not a magic wand. The manager offered this and of course, she was sweet and trying to appease me. This whole experience was terrible and I hope people read this comment before doing this.”

Checked my body & showed me pictures of similar situations that encourage me to sign up. We ended up with a 4 procedure plan for the next 4-6 months that is going to completely re-do me to my old self. Expensive? Yes! Very. I wish it wasnt that expensive but hey i have not been able to have the discipline to do this by myself and i probably have paid half of that on “fab” diets. So i am doing it. I only wish they would stick to the appointment times better as I didnt go into the consultation until 45 mins later. “received my initial consult in Louisville by Penny who was awesome , she chose to put me with Dr. Maier and I’m so happy she did! My first surgery was lipo and a mini tummy tuck. The second procedure was done 3 months later which was lipo on my love handles and sides. He explained to me his plans in detail, did not rush my treatment and knew exactly what the best thing for me would be, he even called me personally to check on me after the procedures. We waited because he wanted me to heal before proceeding with another procedure, which was another great decision. I am 6 months out from the tummy tuck and 2 from lipo on my love handles etc. I am still in a compression suit but the results to date are undeniable and nothing short than amazing. This procedure in itself is not a weight loss surgery or a miracle, you have to do some work! Keep your compression suit on like you are suppose to, eat like you are suppose to, walk walk walk and exercise. This is just a jump start, not a quick fix for your problems. For those on here that didn’t get the same results its because they didn’t take this and run with it. If you expect to get this surgery and continue to eat twinkies don’t bother spending your money. This is a jumpstart to a lifelong commitment to change. Patience is a virtue too, it takes time to see the results. I am still recovering, still have some numbness and lumps and bumps but my compression suit and massage is my best friend, things are slowly but surely looking like they’ve never looked before. “I went to Sonobello in March 24th of 2019 for trisculp. Although the staff was extremely nice and helpful and Dr. Berger was able to do my procedure as I wanted it, I was not pleased with the outcome. The compression suit stopped above my hipbones and right below that area were the suit ended and the part that was not in compression has left a unsightly road bump. I returned back to them 3 months later and I was still healing and they said it would go away. I went back in December of 2019 to show them that it was still there and that I was not pleased. Dr. Berger said he would do the revision and if I wanted anything else done at that time. Dr. Berger was going to be leaving that office in the next few months so they would fit me in. I was told by text message that they would definitely let me know when they could fit me in. Then my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and moved in with me so I could care for her. Then Covid hit and elective surgeries were put on hold. Mom got worse and passed away in August 2020. I still have not heard from Sonobello. Well life carried on and the covid vaccine has allowed us to go out into the world again. I touched base with Sonobello to see if their elective surgeries were available again. They told me that they were doing them since June of 2020. Did they call me to schedule an appointment? No. Now they say I’m beyond the time for them to do the revision and that it’s been 1 1/2 years since I was there. Covid has been around a year so I’m thinking that they could give a little. I’ve read the other reviews and have read that it takes a long time to get an appointment for the surgery. I am guessing since I wasn’t buying any other services that I was low on the list of those to call and I would just forget about it. But I haven’t since this lovely road bump is still there and was told it would be taken care of for me. Very displeased with their customer service as of now and do not recommend getting a revision since it takes so long to get an appointment and no one will call you back to keep in touch.”
