“I unfortunately had smart lipo done with Sono Bello on my stomach and arms and from the beginning (after the surgery), I regretted my decision. First off, they couldn't finish the areas I paid for because they already took too much fat from the other areas...understood. They told me I can wait until I recover to see if I wanted to complete the other surgery. After post op and during the healing process (which takes a year), I told the doctor and nurses that I wasn't flat and had lumps in my stomach and arms. They told me it would eventually go away but it NEVER did. So needless to say I was hesitant to go through that process again so I asked for my money back for the procedure I didn't have. They gave me the run around for months and then when I finally get an answer, they told me I waited too long and will not get my money back. Not once the entire time I was asking for a refund did someone inform me of this. They stole my money and didn't even perform the surgery. I regret the day I ever decided to use Sono Bello. Now I'm left with a lumpy stomach and arms and out of thousands of dollars plus the money they stole for a surgery they didnt do. Please go to a professional doctor so you will not waste your hard earned money on a place that doesn't value you as person and only wants your money.”

“I really debated on whether or not I should leave a review. I got the ABEX (I think that’s what it was called. A tummy tuck without involving the muscles) last March. Everything seemed to be going well at first, other than it was more painful than they said. Around May 9th I got a spot in the incision that was oozing and turning a dark color. I texted Sono Bello a video and they said it was fine. I texted again because I wasn’t so sure- A Dr then called me telling me it was fine. Well…. It was NOT fine. Less than 10 days later I was in the hospital with sepsis and a Pulmonary embolism I was in the hospital for 8 days, they gave me painful blood thinner injection in my stomach, and i had to continue iv antibiotics through a chest port at home, and still to this day have lasting effects from this nightmare. I hear ya’ll asking… I took care of my incision and followed instruction on aftercare. They keep you awake during the procedure with just a makeshift tarp blocking your face, they pump a numbing agent through you the whole time, and it literally soaks the whole room. After the Dr removed the excess skin from my abdomen, he lowered the drape so i could see my gapping open gut! Not only am I still paying Sono Bello, I have 50k in medical bills, and they messed my belly button up. I really should have taken action, but when you get sepsis and nearly die….you kinda want to forget the whole thing ever happened.
Go to a facility that is a true operating room and practices more sanitary procedures.”

My 1st procedure was in February 2024. I learned that Nashville by law can only take out so much volume in one session. Which required me to schedule a second session. Not a problem. The 2nd half of my procedure was scheduled in March 2024 and everything went well. My concern began after my last post op. I wasn't happy with my results. And that's when the run around games began. I called the Nashville clinic to discuss possibly having the procedure done again. The staff told me they would send a message to the lady in Huntsville to schedule a follow up to discuss my concerns. Never heard from anyone. So I called the Huntsville office to get the ball rolling. I explained my concerns. But she seemed to be more concerned about her success rate. Stating she's never had anyone call to have a procedure done again. She wasn't rude by any means. However, I was given an excuse. She told me she would have to call the Nashville office to discuss with the staff OR availability or something to that effect. And she would call me back. My last post was in October. I called early November and it's now December 30th and I have not heard from anyone. I paid a lot of money only to be disregarded as if I no longer mattered. That really hurts me to my core.”

“On December 17, 2024, I visited Sono Bello in Huntsville for a consultation, and I left feeling completely disregarded and uncomfortable with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was less than professional. Brianna, the consultant, was clearly running behind schedule and seemed distracted by another client she was working with, trying to get them financial assistance. Instead of focusing on my scheduled appointment, she suggested I reschedule while handing me a printout of prices, noting that she saw I had already had a consultation a year ago. She even pointed this out in a dismissive manner, as if it was somehow relevant or problematic.

To make matters worse, Brianna handed me a look-book of previous clients’ photos while continuing with her business, essentially leaving me feeling like an afterthought. This entire interaction took place in the waiting area, with no regard for my privacy or comfort. It was clear that my time and presence were not valued, and I was made to feel like a second-tier client. The receptionist’s response was equally unhelpful—he simply told me I could call if I had questions, which felt like a brush-off rather than genuine customer service.

I want to be clear: I am a Black woman, and while I had a consultation previously, I don't believe that should ever be used as a reason to treat a client any differently. Multiple consultations are normal, especially when making an important decision like cosmetic surgery, and I was not looking for any financial help—I’m perfectly able to pay for the services I want.

Overall, I felt disrespected and belittled at Sono Bello Huntsville, and the lack of professionalism left me with serious doubts about whether I would ever trust them with my care. It’s unfortunate because I came in with high hopes, but after this experience, I will be looking elsewhere for a place that values and respects its clients.”

“I'm one month post surgery and I'm so happy with my decision and the results. I did my upper and lower abdomen and love handles (hips as they call it). Overall I rate my experience with Sono Bello a 5/5.
Brianna was amazing and very friendly and made me feel comfortable. However, there were several things that were told to me that were different once I met with the surgeon in Nashville. One being that I stated I was preparing for a beach trip in March and was told by Brianna that I'm only required to wear the compression garments for 6 weeks. In reality it is 12 weeks. I can't help but wonder if I had not listed a date that was less than 12 weeks, if I would have been given the correct information of wearing the garment 12 weeks. I'm a rule follower so I have been very diligent about wearing my garment and following all the rules.
I don't think it is ok that you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit before meeting with a medical professional. This policy almost made me back out of the surgery. I was booking less than 2 weeks away from the procedure so I had to pay the full amount up front. Patients should be able to get a medical experts advice on the reality of the procedure and expected results before paying a deposit. This is a Sono Bello issue not a Brianna issue. However, I'm still glad I did it!
Dr. Tavassoli was my surgeon and I'm so glad he was. He has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. He was very realistic with me almost to the point that I felt he was trying to talk me out of. It made me very nervous but after he left the office the nurse, Steven was very reassuring and reiterated the fact that they cannot guarantee results but believed that I will be very happy with the outcome. I wouldn't have backed out anyways at that point since I had already paid almost $8k that was only refundable if the doctor said I wasn't a candidate.
Steven my nurse was absolutely awesome and helped me along the way and made me feel comfortable the entire time.
I don't remember much of the procedure other than feeling some intense pressure when they got close to my spine on each side. It felt like it was about 30 minutes in reality it was 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The night after surgery I had the most intense pain I have ever had (other than kidney stones) but with the pain meds it didn't last long.
My bleeding and leakage was gone within 48 hours and I didn't take anymore pain meds after day 2. I had my surgery on a Monday and was back at work on Wednesday morning. I do work from a home office, so I'm sure that was easier for me than most. If I had a physical job I would have needed another day or two off work.
The nurse at my one week post op appointment told me different rules than my doctor stated, such as when its ok to start exercising and I'm following the doctors recommendation instead of the nurse. I have an open floor plan in my house so I've been walking a slow paced walk several miles per day since the 2nd day after surgery.
They say you don't see real results until 3 months but I'm happy with the results I have at 1 month so it can only get better from here. Yes it is scary thinking you might mess up your body or have loose skin, etc. but it is 100% worth walking through that fear! I'm certainly glad I did.”

“Sona Bella staff is kind; However, I would not go here for lipo 360 or any liposuction. They split the prices up as in upper, lower, back etc. They also charge more than the surgeons in Miami and Atlanta that are double board certified. You may have a little down time but it’s worth it. I understand why everyone flies out of these areas and fly back. They offer payment plans but why not go get the body of your dreams with double board certified professionals charging between 3,000-7,000 else where, and here they are charging almost $10,000 for a small area. I am an army veteran and federal employee and I wouldn’t give them $1 of my hard earned income. A gym and Atalanta sounds so much better now!!! I can’t wait to see my real surgeon”
