Sono Bello Accreditation
Accreditation and what it means for you.
At Sono Bello, we believe you deserve the highest quality of health care. When you see our certificate of accreditation*, you’ll know that the AAAHC, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has closely examined our facilities, systems, policies, and procedures. This means that we, as an organization, have demonstrated the highest level of care and safety by meeting or exceeding all state and federal guidelines.
So why is this important to you? Because it’s your body and we want you to feel confident that you’ve made the right decision to entrust Sono Bello to perform your body contouring procedures.
Although we aren’t required to seek accreditation (many other health care organizations are not), we choose to because our goal is to provide our patients with the highest standard of quality care. The accreditation process challenges all Sono Bello staff to find better ways to serve our patients and serves as a constant reminder to us that our first responsibility is to provide exceptional patient care, resulting in the best possible outcomes for your cosmetic procedures.
The AAAHC is made up of medical experts who carry out on-site assessments of health care organizations seeking accreditation. These evaluations present medical professionals with best practice scenarios, helping them improve patient care.
Having completed more than 300,000 laser-assisted liposuction procedures, our surgeons our surgeons deliver outstanding results. Accreditation is one more way that we at Sono Bello put our patients first, because your safety and complete satisfaction are our top priorities.

Frequently Asked Questions About AAAHC Accreditation
Learn more about accreditation at Sono Bello and what it means for you.
AAAHC stands for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It is an independent, not-for-profit organization that evaluates outpatient health care facilities against rigorous national standards covering safety, equipment, staffing, infection control, governance, patient rights, and quality improvement.
AAAHC accreditation is voluntary; facilities like Sono Bello pursue it as evidence of our commitment to patient safety and care quality.
Cosmetic surgery is not always performed in accredited facilities, which means safety standards can vary widely. AAAHC accreditation ensures the surgical center meets state and federal guidelines for patient safety, surgical protocols, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
More than 60 Sono Bello centers across the United States hold AAAHC accreditation, with additional centers actively pursuing it as part of Sono Bello’s commitment to standardized safety. This accreditation page lists every accredited Sono Bello location.
AAAHC accreditation requires facilities to undergo on-site evaluations by approved surveyors who assess every aspect of the surgical center against best-practice standards. Reviews cover surgical protocols, equipment maintenance, staff credentialing, patient consent and safety processes, emergency readiness, infection control, and continuous quality improvement. Facilities are reviewed on a regular cycle to maintain accreditation, which is why AAAHC accreditation is a meaningful indicator of quality and continuous improvement, rather than a one-time milestone.
