“The Super Cuts of Lipo - Please Beware.
First of all, the consultant leads you to believe that you will get far more with your package that you will and that you have to make a decision within 24 hours of your consult or you will not get "the deal". Trust me, they'll take your money at at time. The "Diamond" recovery package is a joke, it's the garment, some Arnicare pills and mepitac tape. As far at the doctors, I only saw him twice the entire time, pre-op that he flew through and then the surgery. I had googled him and reviews at his other practice were good so I went forward. I asked the nurse why he saw patients here if he had his own practice? She said this was a "different clientele" than his other office. Um, okay? Lower clientele, less care given? Is that why he flew through my pre-op and from what my mother tells the surgery too? She said I was in and out in no time. At every follow up, I shared concerns about my right hip and outer thigh areas that were treated. The hip area bulges and the thigh area is lumpy. The left side is what I would have expect and I am happy with that. However, being happy with one half of the procedure is not acceptable as I walk around as a whole person. Each follow up appointment I point this out and I am told it is swelling. You will never see the doctor at a follow up to discuss any concerns. I am now 6 month out and no better. And forget about the "satisfaction guarantee" that is at THEIR discretion and IF it is deemed necessary to be fixed, YOU still have to pay for a significant portion of it. I will no doubt get an response of someone being so sorry this was my experience but nothing will actually be done to compensate me for the experience. I certainly wouldn't let anyone in the office touch me again. To others considering Sono Bello, know what you are getting yourself into, it may be worth a little extra to go elsewhere.”

My first review was about the staff and how comfortable the procedure was but as I am closer to six months, I want to say that I wasted about $10,000 going to this place and I really wish I had did my research. There is a whole Facebook page on patients that are not satisfied with their overall look And wish I found that page before I made a decision to go to Sonobello. I didn’t even waste my time to go in there after my three months. I recently reached out to an actual plastic surgeon and after our consultation, he was so surprised that I had Lipo due to me still having so much fat, and it was not due to being swollen. I did everything right I exercise I started to eat healthier. They don’t even give you the right garments to wear they provided me with a shape wear. That was the garment that was provided to me which is like 40 bucks on Amazon. I still have to come out of pocket to buy a proper Faja, boards and foams, which was recommended by the girl that do my messages sonobello don’t even tell you these things. So here I am now having to look for a second option because I am not satisfied with my overall look and I’m not a big person. When I went to do Lipo, I was only 135. I am still 135. I just wanted my stomach to be flat as well as my back and I did not get that. Overall, I will not recommend Sonobello for any type of plastic surgery. My opinion my experience.”

“I would stay as far away from this place as you could. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. I met for consultation on May 7 and had my procedure done June 5. I had upper, lower abdomen, waist, back rolls, upper arms, inner thighs and knees done. Keep in mind abdomen and waist with back was done during one procedure and 2 weeks later I had arms, thighs and knees done. Starting process was goo but pushy, during consultation they strived to get you to sign up right then and there or you would lose out. They made it sound like you are getting a great discount and deal. They don't explain good what you can expect or what you paying for and I learned that the hard way. I did my first procedure and it went well. I come back 2 weeks later for the second one and let me tell you, I have high pain tolerance and this was the beginning of my nightmare. Whatever they gave me to relax me and for me to not feel anything didn't work. I felt every move from being cut to the tools inside me and all I kept saying was I can feel it and it hurts. Doctor stopped after a while and I believe he didn't remove as much fat as he was suppose to. I complained to the office and by no surprise nothing was done about it. It was just brushed off like well we did what we always do and don't know what happened but you received the same dose as last time. I have given birth to 3 children and this was by far the worse thing I have ever experienced. Fast forward to the 1 month check up. Well since I had 2 procedures done with 2 weeks apart I only received one follow up. So when I went for my one month follow up for abdomen they basically said well we will just look at the arms and thighs too. Now you don't see the doctor for any of these follow ups. Just the nurse. I then was informed that since I needed different kind of garments due to having had 2 procedures it was going to cost me more money. Are you kidding me. By the way you already pay for all of this so it isn't like you receive anything for free. Fast forward I am suppose to have a 3 month follow up, it was scheduled and as we got closer to the time I receive a call from the office saying it has to be canceled and rescheduled. Keep in mind they are weeks out. We schedule the next one and I one again receive call to change it due to them not having any staff. Well now people are leaving and they are limited to who can take you. At this point they are even further out. So I say forget about it this is ridiculous and let's just do the 6 months follow up. Well here we are today and it is mid Dec and I still have not had any follow up and I am already at my 6 months and still have never been seen or to say the least I have never seen the doctor again. So at what point do you think that a place that charges thousands and thousands of dollars for treatment would have a better control of their patients. The lack of communication and care is so bad and I have never seen anything like this. I could go on and on about my experience and there is so much more that happened. When you spend close to $20k you should receive appropriate treatment and care. So if you are reading this do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The final result they tell you comes at 6 months mark, well I am here and honestly not much of a change. I do see some changes but not even close to what I should see. This place cares about your money and how much they can take verses how you look and feel. I have friends that wants to have liposuction done and they have followed my process and decided they would never go to this place and I recommend they use a different place.”

One of my downsides I would say is I would have loved to meet with the doctor before making a down payment because even though the consultation was amazing, Some of the things was told to me was not really what the doctor said. I am going on vacation Around my three months and the doctor that did my procedure said I will still be swollen, if I had met with the doctor firsthand. I would have probably waited to do my procedure. You don’t get to see the doctor until you make the down payment. I would have liked to meet with the doctor first, but I was so ready to move forward with this procedure that I did go ahead and make a payment. I am about three weeks post op, I had fat removed from my stomach and my back area. Right now, I don’t really see any results. My back area still looks the same. My stomach somewhat looks a little more sculpted, but I am very swollen. I am a small girl so I was hoping to see some type of results. I know they said it takes about three months to actually start seeing results.The procedure was not too bad a little discomfort, but overall nothing to be scared about. I think the first two days was hard and the garment taking it off and putting it on is the worst part. I was able to get out of bed by day three and start doing things around my house. I run a daycare and I didn’t have to take anytime off. I am still sore as of today. I will definitely come back and give another review after my three months postop. But overall, thank you to Doctor Broderick, the nurses and the frond end staff.”

My entire experience at Sono Bello was extremely unprofessional. They booked me into a slot knowing the doctor was going out on medical leave before that date, because it locked me in with payment. Then they had to reschedule my procedure. They then had to reschedule me a second time. They called me back the next day to reschedule me a 3rd time, only to find out they had never rebooked me the day before, and now the slot I thought they had given me was taken. Then before my procedure date, I had to have emergency surgery. They told me I needed a note from my surgeon in order to get my procedure which I had tried to schedule months before. The surgeon said I should wait 6 months so I did. In those 6 months I thought about how awful my experience had been so far, and I decided I don't trust these people to do a procedure on me. So I called to cancel. I knew I would lose my deposit, but I thought I should get some of the full cost which had been charged back, considering they hadn't done anything for me. They told me they would call me back. They did not. I called a week later. They still did not call me back. The third time, they told me I could not get any money back because I had cancelled the procedure when I was "still eligible for the procedure" even though they themselves had said I could not move forward without a note from my doctor. They then said they would call me back and NEVER DID. I would give 0 stars if I could.”

“This is a very professional office. All providers and staff are friendly and helpful. I am extremely happy with my results; for people who aren't sure what to expect, the liposuction procedure is not painful but there is discomfort and pressure during. The anesthesia (local) that is used does a great job at keeping the level of discomfort manageable. I also had the Ab-ex procedure (skin removal) and experienced no discomfort or pain at all during that. In fact I'm pretty sure I slept through it.

After the procedure home care was important; I used the heavy duty med only the first night. ES Tylenol was plenty for me after that. Changing the garment is the most difficult part, but with my husband's help and wonderful care, even that was not too bad.

Overall, I am so glad I did this, and love my new shape! I can do sit- ups now and have so much more confidence. At 63 years old, this has given me a new lease on my physical life!!

They recommended that she get messages. My mom did everything they told her to do. After 6 months her doctor agreed that she can fix the larger part with lipo. My mom kept calling SB to book an appointment for her second surgery. The office women kept telling her that her one year was up. Again she got surgery in December 2025 so that didn’t make sense. I would recommend a different surgery place other than SB.

“Kelsie greeted me on my very first visit in Warwick for my consultation. She informed me there would be a wait and apologized. I agreed to stay and after waiting for a while she offered me a coffee gift card and apologized again. When I had my pre-op appt she was there in Woburn to greet me again. She is very pleasant and makes sure she can help and answer everyone’s questions. She is very friendly! I was happy to see a familiar face, she’s great at her job.

Anna was my nurse at the pre-op appt she was great and answered all my questions. Very pleasant and I was hoping she would be in the room for my surgery. But she informed me I’d have Sarah that day. Anna did come in when Dr Walek was done to say hi and check on me as she told me she would during my prep-op. That made me smile. She didn’t just say it the day before she made an effort to come in and check on me.

Sarah was another great employee. She helped me before, during and after surgery and made sure to talk to me to help keep me calm. She made me laugh and that helped with my nerves. We talked about places we’ve traveled or are about to travel to. I was blessed with an awesome group of ladies and I couldn’t be happier.

Dr Walek also made me feel comfortable as we chatted a bit about our fur babies. The staff is awesome!

“Consultation was fine. Yes, the salesperson pushed for a commitment but that’s to be expected. The pre-op went fine as well, although I had to wait half an hour past my time to be seen, and sat in the pre-op room another half an hour before the actual doctor showed up. In hindsight that was red flag number one- overbooked doctor.

Day of the procedure, I check in a few minutes before my appointment and am asked to sign paperwork. Half an hour goes by. They tell me the doctor is running a bit behind but it will be another hour max. Annoying, but I let it go. The hour passes and I check in again. I’m told it may be another hour before I can be seen. Honestly that’s it. I no longer trust this place to be reliable. Clearly the doctor is overbooked, and who wants to be seen by a doctor that has to rush?

I ask to cancel and be refunded. Front desk gets a manager. Manager sits me down and says it isn’t their policy to refund the day of. I say, clearly there is a volume problem here where they have too many appointments for the time given. My appointment time has come and gone and they haven’t seen me. She says - it’s not a volume issue. There was a problem with the previous patient’s anesthesia.

As if this was supposed to resolve concerns? No, now I know that the doctor is overbooked and the anesthesia doesn’t work! I got the number for corporate office and left.

Will be trying to work with corporate office to be refunded as I now have zero confidence in this place. They need to fix their serious problems with both administration and care!”

When I asked if she was a RN or nurse practitioner the answer was no.

She did then present me with an 11k quote.. based solely on my 26 BMI. When I asked for clarification on what the $2,995 surgical expense and double asterisk (above and beyond per area charge) at the end of the quote included, she explained the price to look good isn’t for everyone and I should do what’s best for me and to have a good day.

It was appalling. I went to the car, looked at the quote, and went back in to get clarity, from someone else on what the surgical cost referred to and a date applied to said “quote” as Brit had not filled it out- she did a great job highlighting though. I was intercepted by a woman with pink hair (who wrote on the quote) who explained the surgical charge covered the surgical gown and everything else. I asked for an itemized account of what “everything else” entailed and she responded with “you still look unprepared for the cost”. Still not a medical professional in sight.

No…just no. I was prepared for the cost… I was unprepared and in shock of the lack of detail and unprofessionalism displayed in a care environment. Do better. I would have paid whatever if someone educated could have explained it to me.”

“Bad experience, surgeon never warned me about all the loose skin I would have. It’s very hard to make the revision appointment, I had an appointment I thought it would be revision but it’s just a 5 minute appointment with a nurse and they still have to make a different appointment with the surgeon, which I wanted and they only had for 3 months later. When was the time around they simply send a text saying the appointment had to be canceled because of the surgeons schedule and I had to call them and reschedule. Also prepare to go to the revision appointment knowing there’s a 90% chance you will be denied for revision even if u are not satisfied with the results.
Terrible results, terrible customer service after you pay, the surgeon will call you once after the surgery and then you will never be called again by anyone else. Best customer service you will get is when you have to pay for the surgery, they will go above and beyond to get the money. There’s a lot more of negative experience I could list but this review would never end. Still trying to find anything positive.”

“I feel disappointed and depressed I have used all my life savings on this treatment and to find out that it did not work and that the original surgeon retired is even more depressing. I have lost over $9,000 in the lipo treatment and the supposed Venus enhancement that your office manager told that did not work for me.

When you tell them you are unhappy with your results because they are uneven they will not honor the satisfaction guarantee and will not do a revision. They will tell you they will do the revision but are booked up for the rest of the year and keep pushing you out until you are past your 1 year mark for revisions and then you no longer qualify. It made no sense that I am just receiving these credit lines, since I had gone a month and a half ago for a CONSULTATION. The woman Jenny, Jenna or Jennifer, whatever her name was, told me she was going to do a credit check, she NEVER mentioned she was going to open credit lines. Mind you, these credit lines had inactivity fees, and they affected my credit score. The people I talked to from these TWO different credit companies, told me it was sono bello, and that I had applied for them. NO, I NEVER APPLIED FOR ANYTHING. How dare they use my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and my INFO to open credit lines WITHOUT MY CONSENT.”

“This company seems like a big scam. I am not happy with my experience as of right now. I signed up to have the Venus treatment done (with all services charged to my Care credit card upfront) and was told I had 30 days to decide if I wanted to continue with it. I had one treatment and did not like it so I decided not to go through with the remaining seven treatments. I have tried to contact Brittany for a refund several times via phone and email. I have explained in my emails that I am no longer interested and would like a refund. She will not answer me. I will never go here again.

“Initially I went there for a tummy tuck to get the results I wanted. The nurse talked me out of it and said that Trisculpting would be the best option and is less invasive. Before the procedure I meet with dr Delia and he said that I might have some lose skin in my lower belly but not much.
6 months after I asked to meet with the doctor again since I have lose skin above the belly button my belly looks worse than it was before and they suggested Venus Legacy treatment for which I spent another $2000 and no result.I spent $10,000 to make by belly look disgusting.
I saw the dr today and his response was that this is the downfall of these procedure which if I would have known before the procedure I would have never done it. They offered me a Abex to fix it but of course I have to pay another $7,000.
To anyone that is looking to go to Sonobello and have any procedure done please reconsider or make sure you have them give you things in writing since you will end up waisting your money”

“Prior to my procedure, I did lots of research and met with multiple surgeons. I settled on Sono due to their "satisfaction guarantee". Sadly, the experience was not as promised. I went in for SmartLipo on my tummy and flanks with Dr. Delia. While the tummy looked good, I noticed IMMEDIATELY after surgery that the flanks were uneven. I told the doctor at our first follow-up and at multiple post surgical checks. Instead, they sold me an EXPENSIVE body contouring procedure package that was supposed to help ... it did NOTHING.

At the 1 year check, I remained LOPSIDED. Dr. Delia said "it can take up to 2 years for the swelling to resolve". After 2 years, I remain LOPSIDED. I asked him for a revision, as promised by the sales person when I originally signed the contract, and he said "there is nothing I can do".

I have called SEVERAL times over the last year and the manager WILL NOT return my calls, even though the receptionist assures me each time that they will.

BEWARE of the LIES that are told by Dr. Delia and the Sono Bello Boston team. You are told that if you don't like the results, you can get a correction ... 2 years post, I remain LOPSIDED and ABANDONED by this office.”

I signed up for a $2000 service, and changed my mind the next day.
I called Sono Bello six times and they said someone would call me back. This was over a course of several days. Finally, the woman who signed me up got on the phone and screamed at me "No discounts for this service!" and hung up on me. I have brought this to my Bank's attention, as well as filed a claim with the Massachusetts Better Business Bureau.

I'm sick and tired of being belittled and your employees being rude. I simply want my $2000.00 back. Why all this hassle? Please see what you can do.

Incidentally, I think you better check Massachusetts BBB. One star rating and hundreds of complaints.

“Honestly I was really nervous about getting liposuction from here because I did all kinds of research on the procedure and saw a few bad reviews. My whole family wanted to go here but I was the only one willing to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I had Brittany as my consultant who took her time with me and answered all my questions.( also my phone was dying and they helped me out and found a charger for while I was there) I was able to get an appointment fairly soon and got booked for the procedure within the week because I have a pageant coming up. The pre op does take some time for those who are impatient but I wasn’t too concerned. I was so nervous the day procedure but Dr.Broderick was amazing. I was extremely anxious and being awake for the procedure was a terrifying thought and I have a fear of needles, but the dr and the nurse I was with were so comforting. I kept calm by talking with them while they were doing the liposuction and it really helped. I would highly recommend this place. Professional staff and very welcoming. You can expect to have longer wait times but I would rather that than them rushing everyone. I do foresee going back for any of my other areas that I would like to get treated. For reference I got my whole abdomen, love handles, banana roll, and inner thighs done.”

They are telling me I can’t get a refund of my $3000 I spent, I need documentation from a PCP stating reasons why I CANT get the procedure done and why it can’t be rescheduled. Oh I don’t know maybe because THE DOCTOR AT SONO BELLO already told me he would not preform the procedure on me because of my high heart rate. These people are literally scammers. He was rude and rushed me and he actually did a terrible job I think I looked better before. I had lipo on my love handles, bra rolls, lower and upper abdomen. I have a dent in my stomach and it just looks terrible. He treated me differently because I have a mood disorder. Prescribed me oxycodon then called me the next day and told me not to take it. Also told me in the surgery prep that if I have any issues related to my mood to reach out to the people who prescribe my medications. Absolutely no help to me. And I didn’t even get good results out of it. By the way- it’s way over priced. AVOID this place at all costs!”

“My Lipolaser was butched. The doctor did a horrible job. The doctor who did the procedure tried to convinced me that it was fine as if I was some kind of idiot who doesn’t know the difference between fat and skin. He totally underestimated me and patronized my intelligence. Now I have to go and see a new doctor and see if this one agrees with me and if he does , then he will correct the error. I went and saw two plastic surgeons that don’t work for Sonobello and these were horrified with the work that was performed on me.
I lived 2 hours away from the Sonobello facilities and they couldn’t even accommodate the schedule of my appointments so as to avoid having to travel there 3 times for a revision of the horrible job that was done on me. ”

“This was my 5th and final time going here, after spending over 2 grand, I’ve seen some results. I can’t argue that cool sculpting works. I would suggest finding a different location. This was my 5th appointment today and the price changed for the 3rd time. The consultant took it in her own hands to determine how I should spend MY time and money. I found this to be very concerning, poor communication with clients. Disappointing because I’ve waited hours with out complaint due to volume of clients. For someone who has battled a weight problem most of their life, it’s important to feel comfortable disrobing in front of a stranger. The consultant had made a comment on a different visit about me needing laser hair removal and laughed. I found this to be really unprofessional. End of the day, cool sculpting does give results, just find a different location!”

“I sent pictures via phone to consultant. I was told the procedure I wanted was doable. I went in for live consultant, they took $1000 on my credit card. At appointment I was told what I wanted and was expected to get for service was not going to work. I would need 3 other procedures first then they could remove my apron belly. I decided not to do this and felt as if it was a bait and switch situation. I have requested my $1000 back SERVERAL times with not even a response. Free consultation my butt! No such thing. Stay far away people. It's a total scam unless you have some isolated issue with minor procedure needed. My next step is Attorney General and possible law suit to retrieve money that they kept for no reason.
Update...after posting this review I was contacted by Sono Bello asking me to remove this post and I would get a refund. I said I would remove it after I saw the refund. It has been a week now and still no refund or further communication. I sent another email asking why I have received any more correspondence. I am awaiting an answer. My original assessment of these company still stands. I am still very disappointed with the way their business is practiced. Be aware, DO NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PAYMENT IN ADVANCE OF SERVICES!”

“Amazing group of people from the consultation to the front desk the nurses and the doctor they are all just amazing always there when you need them and answered all of my questions. Five weeks ago I had laser liposuction and the last two weeks I have been walking for miles a day. The first two days were the hardest a little pain but not much the third day I was out exercising. My neighbor went in for a consultation and she was a little nervous and I told her don’t be these people are excellent and absolutely amazing so she is going back to have what she wanted done.
